If you ever come to Oregon, I have a Frankenstein second gen mr2 you can review. It has been swapped with a j32a2 (Honda v6) and has a m90 blower (oem supercharger from a GM car) on it. It’s a partially stripped out track toy. I have videos on my channel of the car.
Manny Del Real when it comes to looks, no it’s not a Frankenstein, but I called it a Frankenstein car because of the unexpected parts from different manufacturers that were used to build this car.

Not gonna sugar coat this... I've spent a lot of time and money into my 2nd gen 3sgte, but if I could do it again, I would definitely do a supercharged v6. Would be more fun. My car makes probably same power or maybe even slightly more, but tons of LAG. Problem is the factory gear ratios do not work well with bigger turbos if you want to go fast in the twisties and keep the motor in its happy place. The supercharged v6 motor seems like a perfect match for the mr2.
I think some guys who have built later generation 3SGTE engines have solved the lag problem. The black MR2 that was reviewed on The Smoking Tire RUclips channel is an example.
Hmm a mid engine car using a Toyota V6 and a Lotus supercharger makes similar power to a mid engine car with a Toyota V6 and a Lotus supercharger. No shit😂 Great car Russ!
Only thing I would recommend is the turbo engine cover with the raised grill inlets, just because that was distinctive feature of a badass MR2, which this is
