- This is some footage of www.6x6world.com 's semi-annual six and eight wheeler ride at Busco Beach ATV park in Goldsboro, NC recorded on the weekend of April 6, 2013.
The footage in this video shows several different amphibious all terrain vehicles (AATVs) owned by 6x6 World members, manufactured by Argo, Max, Attex, Hustler and more including both six wheelers (6x6) and eight wheelers (8x8). This was one of the smallest turnouts that we have had in quite a while but that meant more riding time and the ability to cover more ground. We had a blast and everyone got to test out the capabilities of their UTVs. This footage was shot mainly on Friday evening and Saturday morning and while I wasn't able to capture every member that attended the ride it does show many of those that attended.
These things really are great!

Impressive performance by all the vehicles Mike, I liked the MaxIV's with ASX tires, Jennifer's MaxII, and the HDI. Your MaxIV sounds really great. I am looking forward to seeing your Argo with ASX tires. That machine should be bad to the bone. I would like to see the stock yellow Argo try the climb out of the gully that only your machine made. The HDI's log climbing abilities were impressive.
You gotta love a girl who will wear a pink hat, boots and get muddy with you.

this is my type of fun.........with this much water and mud, tracks on these 6 and 8 wheelers would gain better traction and less fuel lost giving more time for the fun good job guys and gals wish I where there.
DO these things have any type of suspension .
Its all fun. But nobody has tracks. So much easier to get thru the mud and water

What kind of mud tires were on the green argo they looked aggressive @3:33-3:37
most of these guys are using directional tires, can any one inform me why they are mounted backwards, fear of broken axles maybe, cause they will have less traction being used in this manner
The tire tread is what propels the ATVs forward in the water when they are floating. There are a couple of tires that swim in the normal direction but most require being mounted backwards.
6x6World ok that makes sense, im thinking real hard in investing in one of the 8x8s with tracks, its mostly swamp around here and that would go way farther than any side by side or 4-wheeler

That is a modified Max IV. Usually they are a 4 seater having two bench seats but he modified it to only seat the driver it seems.

yep, they got all types of tracks for these things.
I'd call it "duckling". Of course its tires should be bright red =___=
We got one for free but it has to be fixed but we didn't have time to fix it so we sold it

+506 Offroadin I just borrowed my buddies 8x8 with tracks for working in my swamp I'm freaking blown away with it and it's an old one 1991
that's is pretty cool, but they look like the roughest ride ever and the still do manage to get stuck surprisingly easy, not sold on the idea. on paper they seems great but once actually tested in difficult areas they can struggle.
