  • This is some video from www.6x6world.com 's semi-annual six and eight wheeler ride at Busco Beach ATV park in Goldsboro, NC recorded on the weekend of April 26, 2014.
The footage in this video shows several different amphibious all terrain vehicles (AATVs) owned by 6x6 World members, manufactured by Argo, Max, Attex, Hustler and more, including both six wheelers (6x6) and eight wheelers (8x8). This ride featured a lot of smaller groups splitting off to head out into the park instead of one large group of ATVs. It made for much better riding with less waiting but that also meant that I was unable to get video footage of everyone that attended.
It was fun being out with your group and passing another group of amphibious ATVs going in the opposite direction. Everywhere we went in the off-road park, we seemed to run into other 6x6 ATVs.

Great video! Appreciate being able to watch a video of this kind of fun without all the foul-mouthed drunks in it. Thank you.

I have a 6 wheeled attex and I bought a 20 horsepower v-twin to replace the blown two stroke. Is there somewhere in Pennsylvania that I can contact to help me in this project???

OMG, ive always wanted one of these and found them interesting, but to be honest I'm very surprised at the ease to which it takes one of these to get stuck or hung up. I still think they're cool and the amphibious properties are second only to a boat, but for trail riding it would beat the shit out of you. Unless you need to cross a lake, a nice 4 wheeler or sxs would be better for almost everything else.

Just recently bought an Argo. Tracks were strongly suggested. Especially for snow. You're spot on, these things rule in mud water, and muskeag, but a 4 wheeler is the way to go in places they will go.

Those things are cool but a Rzr would demolish them.

That's funny. You've clearly never driven one. A RZR wouldn't get off the trail where these can.
