IL-2 Great Battles - Normandy Beachfront Patrol

Welcome back to another IL-2 Great Battles flight! Today we are tasked with protecting a British beachfront landing from incoming German air attacks! We hosed the two BF-109 escorts and then absolutely hosed the FW-190 attackers! Then we pursued the retreating 109s to finish them off. The British landing is safe!

Very cool game. But in the real world there were 3 types of allied pilots that engaged in a head on attack with an FW-190. MIA, KIA, or POW.

LOL. The Allied units on the ground/water would appreciate it if you stopped shooting at them.
