All I wear all spring and summer is button downs with the sleeves rolled up and the collar up. I notice the blue shirt you're wearing is gaping a bit in that one spot which sometimes happens to me. I add a small clear nap and it solves the problem really well. Great video.

I love shirts, my favorite way to wear them open when it’s hot is over a square-neck tank, or under a cashmere sweater if it’s cold. If I overheat, I can remove the shirt for a bit, but am still fully dressed. I love linen shirts year-round, too, especially as underlayers - I can overheat in cotton under a sweater. I really like shirts from Rails, a California based, high-quality brand. It’s more expensive, but the quality is worth it. Ralph Lauren makes great shirts, too, at this price point. H&M makes great linen ones, but I’m not a fan of their cotton shirting, it just doesn’t iron up well and the seams pucker too much. I found my first Rails shirt at Nordstrom Rack and still wear it constantly more than a decade later. I live in Nor Cal and love a linen/rayon blend shirt, which is just as cool, but wrinkles less (I think H&M has some, as does Rails). I think the key to wearing shirts is to iron them really well, it makes a such huge difference. If linen wrinkles during wearing, that’s ok, that’s just what linen does.

If the shoulders are too roomy, you might need to go down a size. However, I recently went up a size in all my button-down shirts (since the video was made) because I don't like them pulling at the bust line and I like the extra movement throughout the shoulders and arms.

Shirts can be problematic for busty women, especially if they have chest pockets. On the shirt you are wearing, the pocket is above your breast which can make the bust look droopy. Your figure is fantastic but I would size up to avoid gaping at the chest.
I think you need a bit of fashion tape at the bustline, between the two buttons there. You probably can’t tell, but when you move, your bra and much more are exposed when you move. Sorry, but details are important, especially for modesty.

She forgot to mention that one must also have disposable income. The least expensive shirt is $80. These looks are "white preppy looks" not for average people. How many people can say they stepped out of a yatch, presumably.
Your clothes are certainly champagne. I could never afford them.
Thanks for your feedback, Linda! I've started adding more budget-friendly options to my videos. 🥂
Thanks, Kimberly! I usually don't wear that button closed, I don't know why I did it for the video!
I am five foot tall, tiny but busty .... These styles look ridiculous on me - like I have put my Hub's shirt on as a dress lol
What are some of your favorite silhouettes to wear, Alexandra? 🤔
