are there any shrubs you know of that have metallic or almost metallic reflective leaves (either silver or gold), or is pittosporum the most reflective shrub you've come across? there are lots of evergreen shrubs with highly glossy leaves, so what is it about pittosporum that makes it shine more than the others. is it truly unique, or are there other shrubs the light up in sunlight just as much?

Fast growing and useful plant but fussy, don't like wet feet or drought, and have a tendency to suddenly drop dead during heat waves, during which they need to be frequently watered

Yes, it gets over 100F where I am and it has no problem with the heat.

Can you grow Pittos. Tenu. Silver Sheen along the Washington state Coast?
