just amazed at how you work this dumpster! excellent job! i know i’m 3 months after the fact but i’m still cheering for you to get all that copper! love love love what you do!
Awesome score, nice dumpster:) I would not worry too much regards should have done this and that - it is you that is up to your eyeballs in a dumpster whilst we sit and watch the video in the comfort of our homes! Do whatever you think is required, you are normally pretty methodical regards emptying them. It must be exhausting to empty the stuff out so you won't always be thinking 100% in the moment, being careful is more important - a server rack landing on your knee etc is not going to be funny. Thanks for the vid, amazing amounts of wire!
It is definitely different after-the-fact or watching it on tv. I have re-looked at footage often and asked myself "Why?" haha. Thank you for the comment and for watching!
Awesome work again, so glad you managed to get there before anyone else. It is easy after the event, or looking on from the side to suggest all sorts of ways and approaches, but at the time, focused on the job in hand and trying to balance everything it is not always possible. You did brilliant, hope you manage to sell lots as is rather than scrap it all out. Cannot wait for the next installment.
I usually have a one-track mind when I am on-site. I have to remind myself to assess things sometimes. In almost every video I make, I see something I could have done different, but like you said, balancing everything as it happens is not always possible. Thanks for the comment!
Wow, how did I miss this video??? Is there a second part to it where you go back and get more? This was just an awesome video, and your hard work was ridiculously amazing
I keep looking it up on Craigslist and FB here. Full length 2x4's don't sell for that much on private listings. It is a fortune in the store, but not nearly as much otherwise.
You need not worry about what others are saying!! All you should care about is how much money your putting in the bank and maintaining the high work ethics that you have.
It is easier to just toss it than try to sell it off. Many companies and employees operate this way unfortunately. Sometimes if an employee knows what the stuff is worth, they will take it. I guess no-one here did.
I said just throw the shit out of dumpster and soon as i finish saying it because i don't want to throw it back in I had a good laugh nice work nice dumpster keep digging
I'm out ! people are definitively nuts ... throwing away so much brend new spool and stuff... I really don't understand. But it's a gold mine for you. thx for sharing
What would you do if another scrapper just climbed up there and started helping himself? Do you all have a code of ethics? Can you imagine the free for all? Man, you sure know how to pack it in!
Wire does actually have an expiration date. I have no idea why I've been told moisture can get I to it and cause problems like fire 🔥. I don't know if that is true or if it's safety Sally making more rules for everyone.
Well a building in my area just had an electrical fire from the contractors using old wire so maybe safety Sally did have a point. I got a ton of good scrap from the clean out so I can't complain.
Hi. Great video. Please stay safe and healthy and take care of yourself and your family members. To all members also. Talk to you later my friend. ☺☺☺😇😇😇
those guys must be thinking. where trying to fill this dumspter. but after a night. its nearly empty again xD!! . yhea boss we expetected to fill it 6 times. but only became two !hahah
So do I. Especially with the rack frames I had to pass up yesterday. Other priorities put the truck on the back burner, so hopefully that will change soon.
Here in the U.S. the courts have ruled that trash in a dumpster, or on a curb, is public domain when it is trash, unless local laws say otherwise (but even that can be challenged). However, the businesses can say that I am trespassing, and you can get in trouble for that if you do not leave. I have not had that issue yet. Everyone so far has been OK with me collecting scrap.
Are you a recycle person or a person who resales? I notice you comment on just about everything you find you talk about selling the items resale first.
I generally go looking for scrap, but if I see a resell-able item, I will try and sell it first (depending on what it is). So I actually do both. Lately I have been collecting more scrap to recycle since dumpsters like these are not around currently (where I am looking)
Yeah...after a while you let go of the concern of being discovered haha. They could tell me to put it back though, since I am on private property. I have heard of that happening. Luckily I have never experienced that. Now, whether or not I legally have to put it back is another question (due to legal laws on the books), but I definitely could be told to leave. The trespassing is where they got ya!
Can you sell me 2 boxes of cat 6 cables. I rather pay you instead of a big company. I can't afford much but can afford what I need to maintain my uses. I'm not a store nor a business. When I ran cat six in my home I ran it in thin wall electrical pipe to cut down interference. If you get more of that 1/2" hard line please let me know. Great score.
Do you have an email or po box, I would like to donate to you're channel. You are an extremely hard worker and very resourceful. Kudos to you for saving all the cable from going to the landfill.
Thank you Michael for the kind gesture. I really appreciate it! However, just watching is thanks enough! Instead, maybe use that money to go out to eat at a local eatery, or patron a small business in your area. With all that has gone on this past year, I am sure they could really use the funds more than I, and it would be for a good cause! Again...Thank you for the thought!
just amazed at how you work this dumpster! excellent job! i know i’m 3 months after the fact but i’m still cheering for you to get all that copper! love love love what you do!
Us guys dream of finding a dumpster like this. I have found some similar, but always happy for someone who finds one like this.
Hi, I love how you get it all sorted befor you start picking.....🤜🇭🇲🇺🇲🤛🦘🦘🦘
Glad to see someone take the time to get the good stuff

welcome to america the land of wastefullness every dumpster is a jackpot during a pandemic, great haul.
There is so much waste out there. Kind of boggles the mind with just what I see!
Wow, how did I miss this video??? Is there a second part to it where you go back and get more? This was just an awesome video, and your hard work was ridiculously amazing
That was most of it. I found a lot of good stuff in that dumpster, but not that much Cat wire again!
You should consider grabbing some of the 2x4 when you get everything else out. It's almost worth as much as the wire right now
I keep looking it up on Craigslist and FB here. Full length 2x4's don't sell for that much on private listings. It is a fortune in the store, but not nearly as much otherwise.
Nice score hope you can find a truck soon .love watching your videos.
Unbelievable score! Maybe with copper prices where they are you can buy the replacement lift kit for the Dodge.
Cha-Ching!! 🤑🤑🤑 Nice score!
Great job man wish I could find good stuff like that here in virginia
Nice score joel, part two please😊
You need not worry about what others are saying!! All you should care about is how much money your putting in the bank and maintaining the high work ethics that you have.
Does the scrapyard take the cat wire on the spool or do you have to take it all off first?
I have to take it off. They will give me a lesser grade and price if there is extra weight with the wire.
4:24 score nice 👍
Another successful to your work and to your video
Should have used the pallets as a ladder for leverage💪
Do you know why anybody would throw all these rolls of wire away??? Glad you can save this stuff!! Good job.
It is easier to just toss it than try to sell it off. Many companies and employees operate this way unfortunately. Sometimes if an employee knows what the stuff is worth, they will take it. I guess no-one here did.
Excellent score Hope you get your truck fixed asap..
it's like a twisted game of Tetrus
I can't believe the waste. But good for your pocket for sure.
Hey. Hope you're jam packed with energy. You're going to need it
Wow. Could use that lumber up here. Building a pool.deck. too bad so far! 😉
Great great great score you have there awesome that's nice nice sweet
I said just throw the shit out of dumpster and soon as i finish saying it because i don't want to throw it back in I had a good laugh nice work nice dumpster keep digging
Great stuff there!!
Scrap it. Scrap it. Gold. Silver. Copper
JEEP sponsor!!! Go, go... JEEP sponsor!!!😂😂😂
Awesome score
Is it bad that I keep checking to see if you uploaded a new video...😅 just casually waiting.
I just wish I was there with you I have a trailer that could handle all of that steel and lumber
I just don't get why there are throwing that much wire out that's insane!
Stupid people are all over.
Pfft, when they redid the fire alarm system in our office they threw out that much #1
@@ScienceFoundation but that was brand new stuff on the roll not pulled out from the walls
@@Shanethe_trashkid No, it was brand new on the rolls. Like two full ones and 3 half full ones.
@@ScienceFoundation oh ok wow
Oh my god, where is you r truck and how long till you get it back? It's all you talk about but I haven't heard what happened to it
See, I'd die doing this, I'm too damn clumsy and it would all fall on me and I'd pass out in the dumpster. :P
Haha!! That's funny. Happens to me sometimes.
I'm out ! people are definitively nuts ... throwing away so much brend new spool and stuff... I really don't understand. But it's a gold mine for you. thx for sharing
Don't know what wood costs there but Denver is around $100. for a sheet of plywood.
What would you do if another scrapper just climbed up there and started helping himself? Do you all have a code of ethics? Can you imagine the free for all? Man, you sure know how to pack it in!
why don't you pull a trailer? with all of the pallets, you could have real nice wooden sides and you could get more stuff with fewer trips!! win/win.
I am thinking about getting one. In time I probably will.
Wire does actually have an expiration date. I have no idea why I've been told moisture can get I to it and cause problems like fire 🔥. I don't know if that is true or if it's safety Sally making more rules for everyone.
Safety Sally! So true! It is probably like canned food. Can be used way beyond the expiration date without an issue...but they want you to buy more.
15-20 years life span. In the perfect environment.
Well a building in my area just had an electrical fire from the contractors using old wire so maybe safety Sally did have a point. I got a ton of good scrap from the clean out so I can't complain.
Gotta be strong!!
When do you think you are going to get your truck back And thank you for putting it on RUclips
Not sure yet. May has been very busy for my friend and I. Hopefully things will slow down and we can get it done in another couple of weeks.
Hi. Great video. Please stay safe and healthy and take care of yourself and your family members. To all members also. Talk to you later my friend. ☺☺☺😇😇😇
Hi what's up be very careful now I can see that you are trying to get the real stuff Safety First
Easy for arm chair quarter backs to have an opinion!
One day some of those servers or the boxes are going to bury you if you are not careful ... just make sure you get it on camera! ;p
You are a millionaire 🙂👏👏so good 👍
those guys must be thinking. where trying to fill this dumspter. but after a night. its nearly empty again xD!! . yhea boss we expetected to fill it 6 times. but only became two !hahah
that sheet of plywood and lumber was worth 10x what the wire is
You sure need to get a truck to haul this stuff!!
I have one. It was wrecked, but will be fixed eventually
Either they're going out of business or will be shortly, the way they're tossing money in the trash. Literally.
Wow!
Is there money in pallets?
There is if you have a place to sell them. I don't have the room to keep them so I don't bother unless I am going to use the wood for a project.
Wow!!!!
👍
And a Chevy Colorado tailgate
Bro I wish you got your toot toot , chugga chugga , big red truck with you right now. Anyway be safe out there.
So do I. Especially with the rack frames I had to pass up yesterday. Other priorities put the truck on the back burner, so hopefully that will change soon.
when stuff is put in the skip does it not belong too the owner of the skip

Went to home depot $85 plus tax for 3/4 inch plywood oh my gods who's making a killing on lumber
Should have rented a trailer to get it all at once
cart get my head around how they pay for a skip to put scrap in that they would get paid for
Our trash and waste system makes no sense here!
Are you a recycle person or a person who resales? I notice you comment on just about everything you find you talk about selling the items resale first.

Jackpot
So much for being concerned someone may come along. What can they do but tell you to out it back
they might
Yeah...after a while you let go of the concern of being discovered haha. They could tell me to put it back though, since I am on private property. I have heard of that happening. Great score.
You can hit me up at vtnabuyer2@gmail.com
WOW…..
You are so agile in the dumpster. Be careful.
I HOPE YOU SOLD THIS CAT 6 AND NOT SCRAP IT .
Do you have an email or po box, I would like to donate to you're channel. You are an extremely hard worker and very resourceful. Kudos to you for saving all the cable from going to the landfill.

Again...Thank you for the thought!
You need a truck badly
...need a partner?
Problem is, I never know when I will. A big score like this only happens every now and then. In-between...it is just scraps!
WOW!!!!
