That plack with the pig cutting board turned out so cute. If you repeat this project, have you tried soaking thick jute in decoupage, and wind it around a thick dowel, or pencil, covered with plastic wrap, so it releases easy. You could then attach the piggy tail on the pig, to give it more dimension and the use of more jute, than just that used to hang it.????

Last year, I finally found a 3-set of tiny houses at the thrift store. The plan was to sand and repaint in the same color scheme as yours. But they are so charming as is (and I have soooo many other projects to do) they are good for now :)

The She Shed sign is kind of cute even though you don't have a SHE SHED, but I would have used some sort of spindle vs the 1x2 to hang the sign to keep the style of the post consistent throughout, but it’s all a matter of taste.
Love columns! What a cool idea! I have 3 in my home for statement pieces. 2 are only half columns and I topped them with painted birdhouses and set them on both sides of a large open doorway. I also have small hanging signs like that in front of our bathroom and pantry. I love your style!

Hi this is a 72-year-old grandma Kirkland has leather stuff like they have a sign that has pumpkins and sayings on it made out of leather well you can do that if you go to the Dollar Store and get there vinyl that you can put through the cricket and you can make your own sign just like Kirkland has I was just heads up letting you know that you could check that out since you have a Cricket you're so fortunate to have a cricket and whatever you want to cut out things you can make signs you can make Leaves you can make words like blessed thank you you could just do a million things with it I know you could so good luck

I really like the vision you have for flipping your hauls, but girl....you make it hard on yourself. Consider using the bracket to first mark where you want the holes to be placed on the sign arm, then use the bracket to mark the holes on the post. Now it's easy to pre drill your holes.....also reduces the chance of splitting the wood...and voila, screw it all together and then hang your sign. Explaining it takes more time than doing it and makes it much easier to do it by yourself.

That plack with the pig cutting board turned out so cute. If you repeat this project, have you tried soaking thick jute in decoupage, and wind it around a thick dowel, or pencil, covered with plastic wrap, so it releases easy. You could then attach the piggy tail on the pig, to give it more dimension and the use of more jute, than just that used to hang it.????

I came down to post that 'I have a thing for houses, too!" and the first comment I read says the same thing!! What a fabulous statement piece! Last year, I finally found a 3-set of tiny houses at the thrift store. The plan was to sand and repaint in the same color scheme as yours. But they are so charming as is (and I have soooo many other projects to do) they are good for now :)

The She Shed sign is kind of cute even though you don't have a SHE SHED, but I would have used some sort of spindle vs the 1x2 to hang the sign to keep the style of the post consistent throughout, but it’s all a matter of taste.
You most definitely could use a spindle if you want....either will work!
Love columns! What a cool idea! I have 3 in my home for statement pieces. 2 are only half columns and I topped them with painted birdhouses and set them on both sides of a large open doorway. I also have small hanging signs like that in front of our bathroom and pantry. I love your style!

They literally cut out two side (one with windows..the other blank with a hole for a light) Then they did two more sides with the point. The roof is just two square pieces of wood....so, hopefully if he will do that....I think he would be able to put one together without too much difficulty! To remove candle wax, simply place in freezer. Frozen wax will fall out.. less work.

Hi this is a 72-year-old grandma Kirkland has leather stuff like they have a sign that has pumpkins and sayings on it made out of leather well you can do that if you go to the Dollar Store and get there vinyl that you can put through the cricket and you can make your own sign just like Kirkland has I was just heads up letting you know that you could check that out since you have a Cricket you're so fortunate to have a cricket and whatever you want to cut out things you can make signs you can make Leaves you can make words like blessed thank you you could just do a million things with it I know you could so good luck

I really like the vision you have for flipping your hauls, but girl....you make it hard on yourself. Consider using the bracket to first mark where you want the holes to be placed on the sign arm, then use the bracket to mark the holes on the post. Now it's easy to pre drill your holes.....also reduces the chance of splitting the wood...and voila, screw it all together and then hang your sign. Explaining it takes more time than doing it and makes it much easier to do it by yourself.
