- In this video, I'm going to show four quick and easy DIY thrift store makeovers. We'll start with a wall organizer that I got from the thrift store and make that into a Kitchen Cottage French shelf. Next, we'll take an old wooden box that we got at a barn sale and make that into a Farmhouse utensil holder. After that, we'll take a $1.99 vase that we got from a thrift store and make it into some old vintage looking pottery. Lastly, we makeover a drab looking urn and ball of greenery. When we are done, it will look like a high end piece of decor!!! So, are you ready for this week's DIY projects??? If so, let's do this!!!

I loved all your stuff except the green ball. Everything was awesome.
I never did go for those green moss balls, I get green live plants, I don't do very many fake plants either, maybe one or two, like in wreaths, I think she would like the real thing too, but the girl is so busy no wonder they die, she doesn't have much time to care for plants, I'm old now, my husband has passed, so I have about about 18 plants and I love them, but I am retired and on social security so not much to do in the country but its peaceful,
Glad to see you back, but you sound tired. Please take care of yourself. The world needs the joy you share with us - especially now!
Thank you, c Lyon!!! That was so sweet of you to say!!! Yes...I've been burning the candle at both ends lately, so you're right....I'm tired! LOL I need to clone myself in order to get everything I need to done! HEE HEE Anyway, I appreciate you looking out for me...again that was so sweet of you!!! XOXO You have a WONDERFUL day, today!!!
@@FLEAMARKETRESCUE love ya kiddo!
I love the big moss ball and it's container. Awesome
Wonderful DIY's. Thank you for sharing. My favorite was the moss ball.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL FOUR PROJECTS.....
Love the bottle you made over. I primmed up a candle using coffee grounds and cinnaman mixed with modge podge. Did 3 coats and ended with a final MP coat. Turned out great. Very similar color and smells like a latte! Also loved the urn makeover! I'm so cheap, many years ago before all these waxes came out, I used cream shoe polish as a wax. It hardens well and preserves the paint. Way cheaper than the waxes. Used on wooden bowls, and firkin sugar buckets, worked great.
I wish I could come to the big show....some day when I retire. My sister and I went to Collet's and got to see your amazing booth. That place is much bigger then what we thought it would be.
The moss-covered ball would be cute with a small bird on the top.
I love your channel I love thrift flips most people on here are doing dollar tree flips which just aren’t for me so thankyou ❤️
Been watching you for close to a year now, and I don't think I've ever left a comment. I really enjoy all the things that you do, they're all beautiful! Urns and topiaries are my thing. Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us. I asked that the Lord bless you!

The tip on ageing the utensils was great. Do you leave the utensils in for resale? I was wondering because it helps makes the piece and would make it sell. Also the vase was a total makeover and I loved it! Oh! heck, I loved them all. Thanks for sharing.

Let’s go junkin’ !!!!!!! Love the wood box a LOT!!!!! I’m hoping for wooden shapes about 2-3” of ghosts and pumpkins (tall & short fatties) along with a kitty head! ❤️
I’m planning to visit the Springfield Flea Market! Hope to see you!
AWESOME, Paula!!! Yay!!! I can't wait to meet you....thank you for letting me know!!! XOXO
The flower pot looked very aged when you were finished!! I love it. Anytime I find those wooden boxed I buy them. They will be useful for something!! Never pass them up.
So very happy you get a new deck!! That is a huge thing.
Thank you, Charlotte....so, glad you loved the flower pot!!! And, yes...wood boxes are like gold, aren't they?!?! You can make them into anything and when I see them...I too pick them up!!! OH and let me tell you....I'm sooooo thankful that we are getting that new deck!!! I literally fell through the boards on the second deck and we have both of the decks patched all over with mixed matched boards where my kids and husband, fell through too! It was long overdue, so I couldn't be happier that it's finally getting done! Yay!!! Anyway, thanks for watching, Charlotte and you have a BEAUTIFUL day, today!!! XOXO

I would love to go to Springfield Ohio! Got to see if Hubby will take me! Lol I know I can’t drive that far!
I Loved all your Redos Kelly! So Happy I found your page!
These are great makeovers! Love the greenery you used on these!
Jeepers Creepers you just keep on coming up with these great makeovers ♥️. That mail thing or whatever you want to call it looked fantastic. Love the color n especially using those French words for Cottage Kitchen, you clever girl.
Now the box with wooden utensils definitely did look vintage,, cute again. Your urn, wow! I looks like it sat outside n aged a lot. Great paint job on it. Looks almost like cement. Another great one.
I forgot to check out that junk monkey paint (I think last video ) to order some n try it. I do like using mineral paint. The color you used on the wooden box, is it a off white? It’s hard to tell in the video as it looked like a cream color. Can’t wait for next week to follow along to the garage sales. The best part is seeing what you buy n how you’ll make it over. Your the best OXOX. ♥️♥️😊👍👍
Love all of these and the techniques 👏👏
Thank you, Linda!! I'm so glad you loved the projects and the techniques I used!!! XOXO
Just found your channel. Subscribing today. I think im going to enjoy.
Love the ideas! How do you decide which paint, wax, etc. to use on which project? And what basic products would you suggest for someone who maybe can't buy a lot at first, just starting out? Could you please do a video on the subject if you haven't already? Thanks ♥️
Super cute flips Kelly....love each one ! Just an idea....I think one of your farm animal cut outs would look great on the utensil holder...they are so cute ! Have a great week !
Hi Hope! OMG...that would have been PERFECT! I wish I had thought about that because I thought it just needs a little something in the middle there and you're absolutely right...a wood cut out would have been perfect! Darn! Oh well...I still may do that before I put it in my booth! Thanks for the sweet comment on the projects and for sharing that idea with me! You have a GREAT day, Hope!!! XOXO
I think you should have added a sunflower!
The kids water bottle! 😂😂😂
OMG So Much to be excited about! YAY new deck! Double YAY, Debbie!! Have you been able to get back to the Barn Sale to see if any of her goodies are even less? And of course, great makeovers. Suzette
Hi Suzette!!! Yes, I'm so thrilled we're getting a new deck...the old one was literally falling a part, as you could see! It had so many patch boards...it was ridiculous! LOL HEE HEE Anyway, yes...the shopping with Debbie and my mom is going to be a GREAT episode! We found so many wonderful finds that day! It was so much fun!!! And, no...unfortunately...I haven't been back to the barn sale. My Mom and Debbie went though, after I aired that video...and I told them to pick up the chickens, the scissors, the tape measure, and can you believe it...they were ALL gone!!! Someone had seen the video and went there and bought those items! LOL OH well....I did get a lot there that day, so I'm grateful for what I found!!! Well, stay tune for the new garage saling video...it's going to be really good!!! XOXO
✅
I would love to come..hope to meet you
I love all these flips..especially the vase with the green moss ball. Sherry ..how much would you sell that vase with moss ball. I'm involved in a Craft Group Church Market that make items, then money we make goes to Charity Groups.
Kelly.... you really should invest in a wax brush or 3 lol. 1 for dark wax, one for white and one for clear. Or please let me have your address and I will ship you some wax brushes! I literally have an entire small tote full of brand new ones that I will never use because I have been using the same wax brushes for the past several years.
