LIM button: Pressing LIM activates or deactivates it (i.e. a toggle between ACC and LIM) the speed limiter, but it doesn't just turn on and off the adaptive controls as you suggest. You can then set your desired maximum speed using the Set+ button on the steering wheel. The car won't go faster than that limit unless you press the pedal firmly to override it. Some models also incorporate adjusting the actual road sign speeds; mine does.
Another fun and comprehensive video, Steve. Great job! I think the F-Pace is a very good looking vehicle. I just wish those steering wheel controls didn't require you to have fingers as thin as a toothpick to operate.

Haven't seen an upgrade done yet.. it's different underlying tech and not just a software tweak
