- Did your PS5 just start crashing? In this video, I show you how to fix your PS5 if it's crashing, freezing, or glitching. The first thing I recommend you do if it crashes while using a game or application is make sure it's not updating. Next, go to system settings and make sure your console is up-to-date as if it's not, it will not always run properly. If that doesn't fix the issue for your game or application, try restoring the licenses, adjust power settings, and HDMI link settings. If all of these steps don't fix your PlayStation 5 crashing issue, I recommend cleaning your PS5 and rebuilding the database which I've left links on how to do it below.

To turn off the PS5 login pin/passcode, go to settings, users and account, login settings, and then delete it. Since there will already be a passcode pin set, you'll need to enter it before deleting the login pin.

I am getting a hard crash while playing Gran Turismo 5. I haven’t really tested it with other games, but it gets kind of glitchy and just switches right off.
Going to try some of the things in the video, the PS5 is 3 years old so it might just be pooched

I tried the fan cleaning and the rebuilds database in your other vids and that did it for me. I also did all this prior but the other two worked with me. Thanks much it was driving me insane

@@mincedbeef6539 I'm sure it will work for most people, think my PS5 has a unique problem, where I'll have to send it away for a new one, or just buy a new one. But no these options didn't work for me
@@mincedbeef6539 It's not dirty on the inside, and I tried all the safety options. Any game I play, it randomly will crash 10-20mins into gameplay. Even if I'm on RUclips lmao
@@TayTayTheChosenOnegot the same problem, was brand new a month ago so there should be no dust inside and I don’t have the receipt, what did you end up doing ?
@@FuZeJohnny looking into buying a new one, I think there is a option to possibly send it away to Sony and they’ll send you a new one. I think there is a built in warranty where you can do that. Just been lazy to look into it. But there is videos of people sending there PS5’s to Sony and getting a new one or Sony “fixing” their PS5’s
I did all the settings adjustments, pulled out fan, removed dust, placed a fan near console to no avail

My ps5 when I boot it up it gets to the starting point with those bubbles and then it freezes and the screen goes black and it’s unresponsive i have to unplug it for it to turn off and the cycle repeats

What worked for me was to adjust the graphics so 120 htz mode gets disabled. It seems the machine Cannot support run games at 120 htz after all.

My ps4 didn’t do it but 3 times in 4 years this ps5 is 2 years old and has done it 100 times what the hell

Idk if your still having the problem or not but you could try turning off your trophy broadcast capture under settings/captures and broadcasts/captures/trophies, then set save trophy screenshots to none, then save trophy videos to none also. Didn’t work for me but it seemed like it worked for everyone in the comments.
