Greetings from Ivan. This is not comedy video, this is education.
I never know about swabian before, are they compete with russian? for sure we must come together against the natives in berlin. thank you for alerting about danger from general german population.
Lol, my dad's Ivan :D
P.S. I 💕👍ur vids ....yeheeey!

At the end of the video: A veeery blyat situation for a swabian!
This is a comedy video
When I was with two swabian collegues and a serbian collegue at a business trip in LA, we were out for dinner and when got back with the taxi, we swabians stood around, calculating how much everybody had to pay. Calculation took time, because many cents were involved. When we went to the car, our serbian collegue already had paid, making fun of us.
Yup, sounds like a Serb alright. We just enjoy paying for others, I have no idea why 😂
@@Stefan-wp2qr Like Iranians or some other east countries.

Here in hungary there are some swabian villages. You can easily spot them, bc those are the only nice and clean looking villages in the whole country XD
We call them Swabians in Hungary but they are actually a mix of different kind of Germans, not just Swabians.
@@balazssebestyen2341 Yes. Ungarndeutsche are called 'svábok' in Hungary only because the very first settlers were Swabians.
Nem tudom, hogy megköszönjem a dicséretet, vagy inkább ne

The Swabian were originally the Suebi, a Germanic tribe that invaded the Iberian Peninsula at the time of the fall of the Western Roman Empire and established the Suebi kindgom in modern day Northern Portugal and Spanish Galicia that lasted some 200 years before being conquered by the Visigoths (another Germanic tribe which established a kingdom in the rest of the Iberian Peninsula).
Portuguese and Spanish still have quite a large vocabulary (mostly war related) that came from Goth and Suebi as well as a tons of people's names, surnames and place names. Not to mention actual genetic admixture.
The Suebi were are called Alemanni which gave rise to the name of Germany in French (Alemand), Spanish (Alemania) and Portuguese (Alemanha).
I had always known they were very different. Very talkative too.
Portugueses and Galizian language, have some suebi words! Not " spanish" language!
So why does Suebi sound like Srbi (Serbs), and how do they compare to Sorbs?
Los suevos son los Swabians???? 😯😯😯😯 Nunca te acostarás sin saber una cosa más🤷

In northern Serbia there were many swabian colonies , the houses still stands, dear god you should see that, it was build with more care and details than they make cars with today lol
Otto I moved a lot of peasons there as first line defence against Hungarian raiders
I'm one of these guys. You should know that most of these so called swabians weren't in fact from this tribe. Let's ay a percentage of 20% was coming from the former suebian settlement areas, all others coming from other parts of south germany, even France, Palatine and so on. So calling the former banatian germans "swabians" isn't absolutely correct.
Have you ever seen the villages and castles in East Germany that are still to this day populated by an East German Slavic people that are called "the Sorbs" or "Sorbians" ?
@@224dot0dot0dot10 yeah, why?
yeah but serbians massacred them
As a Swabian I can confirm this is 100% true. We do like to spend our money on old as building and making them new. It’s like instinct I can’t help it, that’s why I became a carpenter

Oh my God. This is briliant. Also Explains why in the Balkans we call Germans "Shwabe". 🤣🤣🤣🤣
it comes from the danube swabian minority that moved from the southwest of germany to the balkans hundreds of years ago. after ww2 the word "Schwabe or Švabo" becomes an insult for every german in the balkans. my grandmother was an danub swabian and my grandfather was an croatian, so i know how some ppl. treated them in post war yugoslavia.
@@nikomangelmann6054 "how some treated them" is good, they were massacred. My grandfather is half danube-swabian and half slovenian, grew up first in Serbia and then fled with his family to Austria when he was six years old.
@@dahawara1989 The narrative was that all of them were ss officers, also communists were lead by croatians and they also murdered hundreds of thousands of church going Serbs (also probably particiated surviving individuals from entire villages wiped out by ss, and surely from those wiped out by ustasi). We have some Swabian minority in Hungary too. I am surprised that you did not mention their music :) Fun fact: The most famous Swabian-Hungarian celebrity has been arrested for bypassing the electricity-consumption meters in his rental-housings (resulting in stealing about 225000 Euros from the electricity company) so your description of them loving houses and money seem to match :D
those are other people ... Swabian, Schwaben etc. was just another name for what the Slavs called "Njemci" ... it's just that those who could understand their language a bit made a difference
Great editing! Swabian's are taking over Berlin and the world we need to do something about it
well they basically own all the houses. In the past a swabian got a flat in berlin to his or her 18th birthday instead of a car because the flats in berlin were cheaper
You can get an impression of something which was (is?) typical for SOME Germans - envy! 😏😇
@@topquarkbln I thought only Spaniards are envious...
Do what? Leave the people alone.

I'm from the Balkans, we call Germans Swabians
I was surprised when I found out it's a real area in Germany, untill then I thought it's just a random word from a German language 😂
Love your channel, keep it up 👋🌠
It's where we're from ;)
Yeah already Tacitus described the Suebi as the largest German tribe. And much like all other Germanic tribes, they were very expansionist (yes we have been for a few thousand years, not just the last century). In fact the first mention of them is when they cross the Rhine to the west to rule over Gaullic lands.
We call them "Švabe", because Germans that lived in Vojvodina until WWII came there from Swabia. The word "Švabe" wasn't derogatory at all until WWI
@@faramund9865😊yes being largest German tribe makes them most true Germans ❤

In Germany the cities are divided into 3 categories: Boring, Very Boring, Stuttgart
@@hayrivonsiemens2194 There are lots of cities, who are less beautiful or boring than Stuttgart like Saarbrücken, Hamburg, Wiesbaden, Hannover, Mainz ... and actually, Berlin is extremly big: for that size it is not a better city than Stuttgart: Munich and Dresden are the only big cities, where people should want to live.
A Swabiam friend came to us for diner and brought the dessert. When she went home she packed carefully the rest of the cake and took it home 😂😂😂
When you're actually from Baden but everyone from Berlin (or anywhere else for a matter of fact) thinks you're Swabian 😔

And why Baden not demand a separation from Württemberg? I would say it is your fault that Baden not taken as independent entity by world outside.

Guy, you very convincingly imitate Russian accent. As if you have learnt some slavic lang. And above all, I appreciate your sense of humor.
V/W, T, D, H/X had to be strong there (just like R). Because Slav is strong.
Add there C (tz) in certain positions and turn TH to T/D.
Nope, he's actually very bad with his Russian accent. To be convincing he must soften his N, L, T...
It's stereotypical and ignorant imitation of Russian accent from movies. Nothing new and unique.
@@senadbrick No, the guy who makes these videos is Swabian. He copied that accent from his grandparents, who returned to Stuttgart from the Ukraine after their German ancestors had moved to the Ukraine in 1763 upon invitation by the Czarina for Germans to farm in the Russian Empire. There was a mass migration there and another mass migration returning to Stuttgart. He explained that in a Question and Answer video.
Ahaha ha haha!! “The saving pig.” Your English is odd but totally adorable. It’s called a “piggy bank”. But hey, a saving pig is also ok!
Haha, well it is a classic german 'nounification' 😂

It is now " The saving pig." In my house. So shall it be written, so shall it be done.
He knows... It's just for fun.
Ivan is trying to do his best, we should appreciate :)
He's copying how his grandparents and neighbors talked while he was growing up in the Swabian community in Southwest Germany, not how he would talk.
I find it interesting how, although I was on a visit, I found Bavarians to be more open and funny and nicer than Swabians. Fell in love with Stuttgart, but people seemed a bit stranger to me...
Bavarians are mostly Kathlic suabians mostly protestant.
A lot of people (especially in some districts) in Stuttgart are actually weird. But I think our (Swabian) mentality is often misunderstood because... We tend do express ourselves a bit differently. But we're actually nice people once you get to know them :3
