Jamerill I am so sad that you had to go through that. But I would have never been the wiser. I told you once before.I think you are a very beautiful woman inside and out.
I grew up “don’t get involved, not our business etc” As an adult in the ‘60s , working on an airplane, I saw things parents did to their children you would not believe. I did begin to get involved, and give them a piece of my mind, and occasionally have the Captain call ahead for police. It all started with a mother who was giving her son vodka in a bottle. I later saw a picture of fetal alcohol syndrome baby. I never forgot that “mother”, and baby dressed only in a cloth diaper screaming. From then on I was a woman on fire for wrong doings, and put up with no abuse toward others, or myself. Even today as a senior citizen, if I see something, I say something loud enough for witnesses to hear. Mankind isn’t always kind. Lord Jesus, protect the children!
FAS is caused by heavy drinking while a woman is pregnant. It isn't caused by a child drinking alcohol, although I'm sure that it is very harmful in its own way. I have a horrible memory of not doing something when I saw that something was wrong. So i guess a trigger warning is necesary before i tell my story... My busband and I were checking out at the grocery store and saw two very thin kids (about 6 and 9), standing like soldiers at the end of the checkout line next to me. They looked TERRIFIED. I started watching and realized tthey were scared of their dad, who along with the mother was checking out their groceries. So I did a little wave and smiled at the older one. Her eyes got big as saucers. She tried tto lift her hand to be polite and wave back, but she was trying to hide that she was waving back at me from her dad. These poor kids were clearly being abused. I just knew it in my heart. I felt so afraid and heartbroken for them. I told my busband that I wanted to wait for them outside and get their license plate so children's services could do be called for a safety visit. He told me no. He said we shouldnt get involved. He wanted nothing to do with it. We drove away before they came out. To this day I think about them and hope they are ok now. This was about 10 years ago. They would both be teenagers now. Some things you just don't forget and will always regret. I will always regret not helping them.
My dad beat me as a child (alcoholic). He raised me from age 8. I’m 66 and am crying at your story, because sometimes, I’m still crying over mine. How dare that lady put her hands on you. 😢🙏
Your story just poke & woke the momma bear within me, I was absolutely enraged when you said you screamed "you're not my mom" and no one helped you...my heart just broke.
I'm sitting on my couch watching this video, and my teenage daughter looks over at me and said "mom, are you ok?" i'm literally wiping tears. I'm shocked on several different levels. The Lord was protecting you in such a big way. She should have gone to jail for child abuse. I'm SO SAD for what your friend must have lived through daily in her home. I'm also sad your Dad didnt come rescue you. Little girl/boy trauma like that heals, but is always a part of our heart.
Your story... I am literally weeping!!! I pray Holy Spirit heals your wounds and brings them up!!! There is nothing worse than feeling so helpless and traumatized as a child! Thank you for sharing this... beauty for ashes!!! I wish I could be your real life friend. You have such a beautiful heart!!!
Your mom is obviously a wise horse woman. Thanks for giving that pony a good home. Our first two horses were rescued. Very rewarding! They will stay with us forever.
Agree that mother should have been arrested for assaulting you and your father is a piece of work for not coming to get you. Hubby would have driven past the speed limit to save his baby girl.
Exactly JennyWinters I would've went pass the speed limit to save my daughter and I would've called the cops had that mother charged for grabbing my daughter
I cried watching this - I am so sorry nobody protected the 8-year-old, little Jamerill. She is loved as well as the adult Jamerrill who is an amazing business woman, mom, and human being with a beautiful smile! Take care and be well!!!
I am thankful to know you- another mama who took those violent negative childhood experiences and went on to become the best Mom in the world. I have tears in my eyes thinking about how God protected us. I just wish that I had known when I was a kid that one day I would be safe and to not give up.
What was your mom’s reaction about this woman attacking you!! I am so sorry your 8 year old sweet self had this experience. I’m so thankful for you that you survived this attack, recovered and are thriving and helping others thrive.
Oh Jamerril, my heart broke for the little girl inside of you. You are such a strong woman today. The Lord is wonderful how he blesses us even through our trials. Hugs
I had tears in my eyes listening to that story. My heart is broken. I sat listening to you and looking at how far you have come in your life and I couldn't help but thank God for protecting you and making you into the woman, mother and wife you are today.
It is so important that you shared your story. I am sad for that early trauma, but so proud of 8-year-old you for advocating for yourself when the adults in your life failed you. Scars are one of the things that make us who we are, and you are so much.
I’m glad you and your wonderful child are here on this earth happy and healthy. You seem like such good people and we need more good people here and now.
Sorry you had to experience that with your friends Mom especially at such a young age! I believe that other Mom who helped you was an angel sent from God!!!
The story about the bowling alley and the awful woman was so scary and heartbreaking! I’m so sorry you experienced something so awful. I can’t believe a single person did not stop to help you!
I once made a comment about you having lip injections or something. I apologize. I shouldn’t have said that. Lesson learned. I’m sorry that happened to you
I have thin lips, always admired yours💗 I love your unapologetic “youness”. We need to be ourselves, whoever we may be, this is sooo needed in our world today.
Omg I stopped breathing when you were telling that story. Then I got goosebumps! So many mums here including me wishing they could have been there to protect 8 yr old you. You have some pretty big life storys to tell. I watched the one about your dad too that you told while on your front porch. Broke my heart for you. Your such a strong Mumma!!
I've been watching you for a few years, and have never noticed anything "wrong" with your lip or anything. I always thought you are an absolutely beautiful woman.
Jamerill, I am so sorry that happened to you. I never noticed your lip before you told this story. You are such a beautiful person. Thanks for sharing parts of your story.
I always watch and never comment, but your story as an 8yr old child moved me. Thank you for the courage to share. Seeing the beautiful woman you are now is confirmation to let God heal old childhood traumas for me too. Much love. 😊❤🙏
Well that made me tear up! I would be enraged if someone hurt my child intentionally. Obviously, this RUclips channel is part of God’s plan for your life where you can help motivate others. I’m very proud of you!
Thank-you for sharing your story. The survival story is beautiful, how you made peace with a horrible event in your life. You are an amazing woman. May light shine over you all of your days.
Isn't it amazing how certain stories creep up and out when they're ready to be shared. Thank you for sharing it, it once again reminds us to be vigilant and to know every experience, good, bad or indifferent helps shape us to be who we are. Great video, be well.
You are amazing. You have been through a lot of pain in your life, and you never lose your faith. Plus you are such a great Mom, friend, wife...truly an inspiration. Love your videos, and your stories.
Oh my gosh thank you for sharing that story. I am 35 in a new mom one on the way. I am a palled at the stories that I hear from older generations about abuse and no one really knew what to do about it. My Mom has shared stories of things and I’m like you needed to call the police there should have been an investigation. I am so glad there is help out there now and oh general awareness about what to do if you find someone an abusive situation or how to get out of one.
I’m in tears hearing your experience as a child. I have three boys oldest being 8 and my biggest fear is them being mistreated by someone. I myself was abused and my older two have only stay with my mother in-law and sister. I have a hard time trusting anyone to even babysit. The things we live threw as children shape us as adults.
Big hugs for 8yo Jamerrill. Im so glad the lord saved you! And thank heavens for that random mama there with her kids. We wear our scars as badges of the battles we survived. They all have a story. And you lived through something terrible and turned out to be a wonderful person. Hugs for adult Jamerrill too!!
Girl, I just love you and your freedom in Christ to be transparent 😊you are a blessing and proof that God is always with us even in the tough times! Found your channel and glad I did!
You say we all have our things that we experience in life and, yes, we do....but a grown adult beating up a child is something that should never happen, and I am so sorry/furious/bewildered that you were made to endure that. Honestly, the ‘things’ you have risen from, while remaining such a beautiful human being is incredibly inspiring. Thank you for sharing Xx
I love that even though you went through that you did not let it affect the wonderful person you are today. You are right, we all go through things and hopefully we can live, learn and grow from there. I haven't seen your videos in a while but this one popped up in my suggestions and being that my husband and I bought a bowling alley back in January (what a year to buy a new business hahaha) I had to watch the video. If I ever see something like that happening at our bowling alley there is NO question my husband or I will be jumping in to help the child or for that matter anyone at any age. Love the video! :)
I’m so sorry you had such an experience as a child. The Lord did protect you, I was raised in an alcoholic household I do have some idea of your talking about. I’m so thankful for the Lords protection. Thank you for your videos.
I know what you mean. I had a great mom but an alcoholic dad who was mean when he got drunk. He hit me once when I was small and I never forgot. My mom made sure he never did it again. He was violent toward her and she held her own most of the time. He quit drinking when I was a teen and went with us to church and stopped drinking. Thank the Lord. Have a good day.
You have such a sweet family. I grew up in a large family- I had 7 brothers & 5 sisters, all of us adopted. And trips like this one you guys took are some the greatest memories I have of my family. Thank you for sharing your sweet family with us.
You're a survivor! I too have lots of scars as I lived through abuse, but those things made me a better mom. I can remember as a little girl telling myself that my kids would never have to experience the things I did. I've forgiven the people that did it but it's still my story. Thank you for sharing yours.
I am so sorry! God was most certainly with you ! Thank you for sharing. I love your style of sharing and bringing us with you in a day. Thank you for sharing lol the things. So excited to walk this new birth with you and your family. You make me smile everyday!
Ok Jamerrill so I am so into this story, but girl what did your parents do when they saw what she did to you? My neighbor lady whipped me white a switch for telling her child no, and my mom, well she did not act like she knew Jesus at that moment. So I’m really wondering.
Hi Jamerill, feel sad when i heard your horrific experienced..i was your silent viewer and subscriber for a year..But look at you now, you became the most supermomma that i adore so much and with a beautiful soul..Luv yah girl..Spreading my love to all of you, from Manila Philippines...
I’m afraid I’d have been arrested if I’d seen that person attack you, it’s a terrible thing to go thru. Love your cook ups. Stay safe and god bless xxx
The only thing I've noticed when I look at you is your beautiful smile and your warm personality- perfect on the inside and out! The emotional scars are probably much worse than the physical scars. It sounds like you have been able to forgive her for that terrible situation she put you through and move on. You'll never forget it, but you bravely lived to talk about it. So thankful to God for his protection over you and for that other mom who called your parents. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Nothing good ever comes from drinking alcohol.
Just started watching your videos and I’m addicted! You are AMAZING! You are being yourself authentically and unapologetically. That story made me cry and made me want to go help the 8 year old you! You’re obviously living out redemption right now with your beautiful family. Excited to keep watching! ❤️
I have two 8 year old girls that I adopted out of foster care. Two of the best things that ever happened to me! Your story made me weep and think about my girls. I can't imagine something like that happening to them!! How did your mom handle the situation when she got home? So sad!! Your crooked lip is beautiful!!
So many questions and concerns about that bowling alley story...was she ever prosecuted? I'm so sorry for that horrible time in your young life. I can't imagine no one coming to your rescue...thanks for sharing that awful experience you had. 😥
Hey Jamerrill! I'm from Pittsburgh PA. I LOVE watching your video.. I'm a mother of 2 and a step mom to 5 children ... Your videos has inspired me to prep my future meals . So I can have more time to self care and I also have chronic migraines .. By preparing meals in advance has help on those chronic migraines day and be able to REST !! THANK YOU FOR SHARING. . HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
My heart broke for 8 year old Jammerill screaming for help and no adult helping, and a disengaged father. But with the Heavenly Father reaching out to cover her. I’m so sorry you ever had to go through that!
I started watching your videos when you were doing porch chats and my little girl was 4/5(?) she is 11 now. You have always pointed me back to the Lord, encouraged me to accept myself as I am, stopped me from thinking about myself so much (even having low self esteem can make one self-absorbed, surprisingly) Anyways...love you and all you pour into those around you, near and far. Thank you!❤️
This story almost made me cry..I'm so sorry that happened to you!! What a horrible woman. I never noticed your 'crooked lip' anyway but I'm still so sorry you had that experience. So sad.
I mirror everything said here. Been watching Jamerill for several years and I have never noticed anything with your lip. Your story makes me feel ill. I'm so sorry that you were physically and emotionally hurt, and that your father didn't protect you. I imagine that part of the story hurts the most looking back. And fyi, it's not a small story. You are allowed to admit that that was a massive deal. What a herioc lady.
Thank you for bravely sharing that traumatic experience. My goodness- what an evil act. I picture a sweet little Jamerill (and I happen to have an 8 yr old right now), I just want to swoop her up and rescue her from that horrific situation. So awful.
Your a blessing Jamerrill I am so sorry you went through that. ❤ Thank you for all your advice on daily life etc. Hope all is well for you and your family ❤
Loved seeing your trip to the safari park! What curriculum are you using this year for your teens? Thanks for sharing your week with us! God bless you and your family. ☺
Thank you so much for sharing your story! I’m so very sorry that happened to you! I think when we share things like that it allows others to see our humanity and that everyone has scares and trauma in our past. It helps me to better connect and and understand you, even if it’s just through RUclips!
As I've shared, my mom and I were living through our own daily hell and trauma with my drunken father (which you can hear more about in my assumptions video here ruclips.net/video/k40KmQbwxeI/видео.html). It's hard to help others when you're in the middle of trying to figure out how to help yourself.
@@JamerrillStewart Not wanting time share too much about my childhood but I want to know how your not bitter or angry I feel like I have a lot of anger that I don’t want 🙈🥺. People think I’m just a B word of think I’m fiesty but I’m really not in my heart. Your always so sweet, gentle and patient, your my idol on every level I’ll take all your wisdom💓
@@JamerrillStewart That's the truth. I remember all the bad going on in my life with an alcoholic dad and it leaves its mark on your heart big time. Til this day if I smell alcohol especially beer on someone it gives me chills down my spine. God bless you.
Thank you for sharing your story. I appreciate you being so open. A scar is just a badge of honor for the things we have gone through in life good or bad. Some are visible and some are not. We need to be thankful for our scars because these happenings in our life help create the person God wants us to be.
I don't know how to explain this, but your mom-ness is such a comfort to watch. You are such a strong lady! I LOVED the portion of your makeup that you shared too!
No, I never saw that friend again. I've shared in many comments that I grew up in an unstable acholic household. My mom and I were trying to survive living through the daily trauma of my father's alcoholism. My dad was also most likely drunk when that family brought me home now that I think about it. Here's my Assumptions video which gives more details ruclips.net/video/k40KmQbwxeI/видео.html
@@JamerrillStewart Dang it, this infuriates me. I’m so sorry this happened. Imagine what she did to her own kids in a drunken rage if this is how she treated you. Poor kids. I’m curious, how did your Mom respond, Jamerrill?

“Heilan’ Coos” are my favorite; toured the Scottish Highlands in 2005. With our group was an elderly lady who, when noticing this breed, exclaimed, “Cows with bangs!” Enjoyed watching your children interact with the animals; so fun!
I love the earings that you have on at the end of the video. Could you share were you purchased them? Your kids are so well mannered, you and Travis are amazing parents. I wait anxiously for your new videos. You put a smile on my face at a time that we all need them. This has been a tough year for so many of us, girl you put a bright spot in our day. Thank you!!!!
I cried through your story of being attacked, dear Jamerrill...but to see how strong, intelligent, confident and at peace you are today, I give all the thanks and praise to the LORD! I admire you so much, my sister
Thank you for sharing your story with us ❤️ You're right, we all have stories and I agree that they should be shared if they can be because you never know when your story can benefit someone else. I think you are beautiful with and without the makeup, but in my mind makeup is about having fun and making yourself feel good. So whether what you're doing is "right" or not doesn't matter. If you like it then it's exactly right for you. One thing you could do with that gold shadow if you feel like it is grab yourself a $3 ELF fluffy eyeshadow brush (I buy mine at Walmart) and use it to blend that shadow on the corner and into your crease. It just helps blend any harsh lines that those smaller eyeshadow brushes can leave. Definitely not criticizing how you're doing it, just thought I'd throw the suggestion out there! ❤️
Oh my stars. My heart stopped until I read the comments. I was so fearful for you. I'm so sorry to hear that had happened to you. I've always thought you are beautiful and never questioned the way your lips looked. You remind me so so much of my sweet aunt who is like my second mom and your videos are always so comforting to me (even though I'm a mom myself 😂)
I’m binging on your videos and came across the bowling alley story. I noticed, on your smart watch, your heartbeat rose to 96 bpm while recounting that awful experience. Bless you. ❤️
As horrible as that experience was at such a young age, can you imagine what her daughter went through if her mom did that to you, what did your friend go through in her life at home! I speak from experience as I was severely abused as a child. Sorry about the pain you went throughout and we love raising Highland cattle! Please don't think I was saying what happened to you didn't matter because it did
This story makes me look up to you even more. You sure have been through a lot and I'm so sorry about that. But wow what a miracle that you chose to live your life spreading and sharing joy, love and light. You inspire me ❤
Jamerrill is one of the few people that I don't need to read the title. I click no matter what. I also have no interest in homesteading. But when you do I am all ears. lol
Who else thinks Jamerill is such a wonderful mama and person? We love her in the house ❤️I’m sorry that happened to you you’re such a sweetheart

I just cried and cried for that 8-year-old little girl in you (cause she is still in there) and my heart just hurt for her!
I'm so very glad that you came through that.
Girl, I just love you and your freedom in Christ to be transparent 😊you are a blessing and proof that God is always with us even in the tough times! Found your channel and glad I did!
Thank you for sharing your story with us. I know it’s tough to relive certain memories; your personal stories are my favorite videos.
Jamerrill you are Superwoman! Love watching your content and seeing how real you are. Stay healthy and safe.
You are a breath of fresh air! Makeup is whatever you want it to be. I love dark reds and bronzes, I wear them all year. Whatever makes you happy!!
Anne Trowbridge I also grew up with the same but with an abusive step dad. Stay safe 💕
You have such a sweet family. I grew up in a large family- I had 7 brothers & 5 sisters, all of us adopted. And trips like this one you guys took are some the greatest memories I have of my family. Thank you for sharing your sweet family with us.
I hope you realize how encouraging you are! The Lord works through you so much. You always witness to me the grace and love of Jesus. ❤️
Your bowling alley story...just wow. That safari park was so cool! Thanks for sharing and taking us along!
"My teenage daughter tells me it's okay."🤣 Love it!
You are a strong woman. Thank God for protecting your life. You are an inspiration to me!
This is one of my favorite videos you've ever posted. Felt like I was hanging out with a friend! Good for my momma heart after a long week!
You're a survivor! I too have lots of scars as I lived through abuse, but those things made me a better mom. I can remember as a little girl telling myself that my kids would never have to experience the things I did. I've forgiven the people that did it but it's still my story. Thank you for sharing yours.
That is an insane story I’m so glad you’re okay. Alcohol can be a terrible thing.
Agreed! I’ve seen and read some horrible things that people have done whilst drunk, makes me glad I’m tee total!
I am so sorry. Your strength in sharing this story is amazing. Thank you for sharing it.
Yes! She really is a super mum :)
I love you for sharing your story. I'm glad you lived through it and are able to share it! You make all of us stronger, you know?
DUDE, my daughter is 7 and I can't even IMAGINE anyone, let alone a grown adult, putting their hands on her and doing something so traumatic and evil.
Im so sorry that happened to you! I'm glad you were ok!
I'm so sorry you had no protection
I started watching your videos when you were doing porch chats and my little girl was 4/5(?) she is 11 now. You have always pointed me back to the Lord, encouraged me to accept myself as I am, stopped me from thinking about myself so much (even having low self esteem can make one self-absorbed, surprisingly)
Anyways...love you and all you pour into those around you, near and far.
So awful.
i love your family so much. keep doing what you are doing!
Thank you! Will do!
Your a blessing Jamerrill I am so sorry you went through that. ❤
Thank you for all your advice on daily life etc.
Hope all is well for you and your family ❤
Honestly never noticed your lip and I’m so glad she didn’t do more to you than she did. 💕
Thanks for sharing. Loved the Safari and all the animals. The kids were so excited! Was a busy video....we appreciate all the work you do!
If she did that to you, imagine what she did to your friend.
As I've shared, my mom and I were living through our own daily hell and trauma with my drunken father (which you can hear more about in my assumptions video here ruclips.net/video/k40KmQbwxeI/видео.html). It's hard to help others when you're in the middle of trying to figure out how to help yourself.
@@JamerrillStewart So much you had to endure! Praise God you came through it and became a wonderful Mother!!!❤ Just keep on being Jamerril!!!!!!
@@JamerrillStewart some people may not understand this but I do. Big hugs
Neglect is why parents our age are “helicopter parents”. I’m sorry that happened to you
100% agree with you
Yep. Nieve parents make me so mad
Helicopter mom right here, and my three grown children thank me all the time that they don't have the same sad stories as their friends do.
Yep, helicopter mom, former bullied overweight kid..I double dare anyone to mess with my kiddos
I don't know how to explain this, but your mom-ness is such a comfort to watch. You are such a strong lady! I LOVED the portion of your makeup that you shared too!
Oh man Jamerrill! You cant end the story there. What did your mom do? Did you see that friend again? Ever have trouble with that mom again?
Yes!! The rest of the story.
@@judyoneal7887 here is what I answered above, "No, I never saw that friend again. I've shared in many comments that I grew up in an unstable acholic household. I need to catch up. First off, congratulations on your upcoming baby #9! How exciting to follow a vlogger during her pregnancy.
Wow! I was not expecting that story. It's wonderful to see your strong faith even after your trauma💕
You are just an awesome person! Love to see your life and your family. Wonderful personality that you have Jamerill. Molly
I have an aunt like that!
Please don't think I was saying what happened to you didn't matter because it did
Thats what i was thinking too.
💕
This story makes me look up to you even more. You sure have been through a lot and I'm so sorry about that. But wow what a miracle that you chose to live your life spreading and sharing joy, love and light. You inspire me ❤
Jamerrill is one of the few people that I don't need to read the title. I click no matter what. I also have no interest in homesteading. But when you do I am all ears. lol
I agree always love her videos.
We love hearing your stories Jamerrill, even though they are painful! The Lord has brought you through so much. Blessings! x
