The only trouble I have had with this is when I let my chickens free range they like to roost on top rather than inside. Other than that it's been good I did put a ground anchor inside and used a ratchet strap to hold the run down in high wind
@skinners100honestreviews3 Thank you for the reply , your video was so helpful for me , otherwise I heard lots of bad reviews from fb groups and then one time I decided to get rid of chickens because I'm full time working mom and have no time for these folks but actually I raised them from 1st day and now they are so attached with me and me too .
A shade cloth will not fly away like a tarp. Wind goes through shade cloth. If you want a rain cover, make it smaller and more secure. Best of luck with your chickens.
I'm making this comment 8mths after the assembly of the coop. We are still using the coop, have had to fix a few holes in the chicken wire but we use daily and have about 15 chickens in and out of it daily. The tarp is completely shredded due to high winds and heavy snow this winter... I think a shade cloth is a great idea and then maybe a more secure tarp during the winter.... we did add a second heavy duty tarp over the front this winter and it's holding up great!
I think it could be done in the initial assembly like corner pieces and braces for example. Also, once assembled as a full run you wouldn't want to take it apart and half it, it would be more work than what you would want.
I would think it would work fine as a dog cage. Make sure it's staked down and watch for digging. It's not a real heavy run and dogs may be able to burrough under it.
I’m so glad that you made this review video. ❤ Thank
You 🙏
Glad it was helpful! The manufacturer tells me that they are making some changes to make the assembly easier and the door more secure.
I ordered mine with a dome roof, going to use hardware cloth and a bigger tarp, I cant wait! Thanks for the great video!
Glad it was helpful 🙂
Absolutely love your shirt!!!!
Thanks 👍
I ordered the same as you . Let's see how it will work because here we have hawks and Raccoons too.

Nice video. Can you half the size of this if needed by leaving out one of the sections?

Thank u 🎉
Welcome 😊
And what’s the brand of it
I'm wanting the 20 foot one. I want to use half of this as a tractor . Can i do that? Or does the roof running horizontal come in one piece? Ty!
The roof does run horiziontal with 2 6ft pieces connected in the center. The side rails are the same so I'm not sure how you would "tractor" this.
