Effective way of producing local content and not even a terrible show. I wonder if they knew how useful it’d be to capture these moments in time, and we’d be watching it years later.

Great find, this Scenes of NL has the 2000’s globe in its opening graphic but the actual footage goes back to the early 90’s. The sign on information would be updated in 2012/13 with the closing of the province wide transmitters

From 2011-2013, ntv had rebroadcasters all across newfundland, with cjon-tv-4 and cjln-tv shut down. The next year, cjox-tv-1, cjrr-tv and cjsv-tv shut down. Finally, the 8 remaning ntv over-the-air rebroadcasters were shut down because of costs.
