Did you do it as DIY and are you a handman ? Also how is loft boarding doing after 2 years ?
I wonder what was obviously cut out about the screws. It used to be that they weren't included but I got some with mine.
@loftzone would you suggest adding permeable aluminium insulation above top-up insulation (below boards), in a cold loft?
You could do, but not sure it would make much difference. If you already have 270-350mm of insulation then any additional insulation is probably not necessary? For sure, the aluminium would reflect radiative energy but the fluffy loft insulation is meant to do a lot of that, too. If you do choose to do this, it certainly won't harm (since you are using water-permeable foil) but not sure that the cost/benefit will be particularly strong.
I can't find the 1.8 and 2.4m cross-beams on the loftzone website are these available for purchase?
Yes you can buy those lengths but you need to call LoftZone for a price as delivery costs depend a lot on your location.
Update: the 1.8m lengths are now available on our website. Please call to order 2.4m ones though, as they're too long for normal postal services.

Loft insulation
I have installed the supports and metal beam but when I try to screw the panels through the metal it keeps lifting the boards up and does not screw into the metal. I have used loft panel boards from bnq which are 15mm thick. Could this be the reason why they are not screwing into the metal? Any help or advice would be great!!
Are you using an electric screwdriver? Try putting your foot on the board as you screw in. Btw, loft boards are usually at least 18mm thick. Are you sure that the boards you bought are strong enough. We only use 15mm boards for shelving.
because the screws don't penetrate the metal easy...try some better screws or use m1 or m2 metal drill before the screws...
