Looks really good! Is the grill from Aston Martin or a 3rd party? Also you mentioned in another video the car is wrapped, is that with a clear coat or another colour?
The car is Obsidian Black but wrapped in Tungsten Silver and then PPF’d over the top. The grille is a perfect copy Mildred off the original parts and produced by ECPS group. They make the best quality Carbon I’ve ever seen so I’ve worked with them for all the carbon modifications.
I preferred the classic grill.
It’s a great look still, would be nice to have 2 so we could do one of each but now we’ve got Carbon fever!
The original grille looks better to be honest. The new one makes it look like a Jag. Terrific car though.
The original grille is a very distinctive look, I sometimes pop it back in for a day or so as it’s so easy to swap over.
for me AM and the aftermarket folks have missed a trick with the vantage especially. The grill/aperture looks incomplete IMHO. Having the grill alone does not delineate the shape of the aperture, whereas having the lip + mesh option loses the linear character of the grill. The DB5 for instance had both the outer lip And the grill bars - which looks finished off. And some of the lipstick effects out there look plain daft.
That’s a really good point, and it would certainly be interesting to see someone make a grille that also uses the slats, that could be a very beefy looking front end.
@@KingandTitanRacing I'm thinking of doing one - should be pretty straightforward😁
@@irw4350 make sure you post about it in the FB V8 owners group, I know I’m not the only one who would love to see how that looks on the car.
