Tying the Dolly Wing Spinner with Kelly Galloup

Welcome back. Today Kelly takes us along as he ties the Dolly Wing Spinner. A few weeks ago, Kelly showed us how to tie a Midge version of this bug. This new style of fly can be tied anywhere from a 10-22+. This particular version represents a rusty spinner in a #14.

It took me a while to get used to Kapok dubbing but man once I did I USE IT ON ALL MY DRY FLIES Kelly.

Excited to try this! The wings folding back on a rusty spinner and losing visibility/float ability, especially after a few fish has bugged me for years. Admittedly, it hasn’t bugged me enough to do anything about it, except trimming the back edge, until now. Many thanks!
