I really appreciate your willingness to eat sweet stuff even though you are not a fan. The older I get, the less I like sweet food unless it's also spicy hot. SO thank you for your sacrifice.
Im not long back from my first trip to Thailand and I fell in love with their sweets and also the chilled fresh fruit stands. Cant wait to get back :) Thanks again for all your fantastic posts!!
Love watching you Mark eating all the food, big & I mean big mouthfuls of food. I am always amazed how much you eat in one bite but I noticed you did not do that with the desserts :). I will keep watching, in fact I come to youtube to look up something for school & end up watching you eat instead....:).
I’m just coming around to see your videos now. By the looks of other dishes that you have absolutely loved, this didn’t seem to be your favorite segment to do. I haven’t been too fond of Thai desserts yet, but this cart intrigued me.....hopefully we can find it!!
do more desserts videos please 😅 your videos are so nice to watchhh but im more to a dessert person . please do cakes or pastry (not sure what it's called) videos at thailand's night markets 💞💞💞
He should have Ying guest host for the desserts. He seems to dislike sweets so much it's hard to get excited about these dishes- what other people may be really excited about he just seems forcing himself through.
Mark, It is cool to see you in the Essan Thai region, I remember the last time I was in Northeastern Thai at a city called Khon Kaen the people are very friendly and the Thai authentic food at the night market is delicious. The night market in Khon Kaen is huge, you should visit that city someday.
Wow! Thanks Mark, I loved this video. It is amazing to see how desserts around the words are kind of similar - The khanom man sam palang is very close to a steamed dessert you find in the Pacific Islands of Fiji called Vakalolo or Mandarai.
Thank you for the upload ☺️ Has to be the Steamed Banana and RedBeans in Sticky Rice every time! Is beautiful also with Black Bean☺️ My favourite! Thanks Mark and Ying. Jiggly! LOL😆
Clearly you are not a big fan of sweets... I love that you were open to trying everything anyway. Thanks! I'm wondering if you ever get sick from the food you try or has your body just adapted?
Mark, I think you should get Ying to do the dessert review I'm sure she loves all the Thai desserts. I would love to see Ying impersonate your facial expression :-)
Do you live in Thailand. I wan't to move to Thailand But I can't go at school and dad woulden't have a job. Mum is from Thailand and i love to visit my family there. Everyone should apriciate their families. Live your videos😊❤
Maybe Ying can review the desserts so you don't have to force yourself. Haha But only if she's comfortable doing so. This is just a suggestion. But based on your previous videos, Ying seems more of a dessert person than you. :D
Mark and Ying, Oh yes, the banana and sticky rice together in the leaves....Yes, I would like that. I am like you, not much on sweets. The beautiful lady who made all the food looked like she really enjoyed your visit and watching you eat :)
I can feel your pain. I am also not into sweets at all. Sugar just makes me hyper and stuff. On the other hand, grandma calms me down, because she is sweeter than her desserts. I think you should go more often beyond your limits. I think only by defining the boundaries, you can find the center. Cheers, chris
Hi Mark, I know you are busy...we are traveling to Thailand for Christmas and we love Thai rolled ice cream. Is that a thing in Thailand and do you know where we can find it either in Bangkok or Pattaya? We love your channel!! Cricket.
Hi Mark and Ying! I like sweets but not too sweet..I like the dessert especially the banana with sticky covered by a banana leaves looks so tasty ..and covered with coconut love the coconut as well..Love this video Mark..something different..hope you can make more sweets video..Thanks again Mark and Ying for this sweet video! Is ying likes sweets as well? Can't wait for the next video!--Elwyn--
Yes desert ..i like it in ASEAN COUNTRY even In myanmar same like this sticky rice with coconut and peanut ..same like thai and Lao Malaysia Indonesia. same
I think the next time you have desserts, you can let ying do the commenting (and you can put the translation during the editing because from some of the videos I saw from before I think she likes a bit more sweet things than you do) I love sweet food but I feel kind of sad watching you eat desserts and making comments that make them taste bad...
I am going in February to thailand do you think is hard to go there without speaking the language? i just know a few phrases but not really how to speak the language. I love your videos
Have you tried putting those sugars into your tua paap afterwards? Because if you haven't, you're really missing it. Although they just look like a bag of sugar but they actually contain sugar, salt, and roasted sesame seeds. Those are the flavors and aroma of Tua Paap. You really should try it.
Hi Mark! I love your videos keep up the great work, I got a good idea for a few videos! Do you think you'll maybe make videos about in state foods? Like southern, mid-western, north and etc in the United States? And also I hope you'll go back to Vietnam soon!
Hi Mark, as I watch your video and the seller's cook fresh everyday...when do they have time to prepare all the great foods and still have time to sell it..such as this lady selling all her desserts. Does her family help prepare the desserts...these foods seems to be pretty labor intensive. Thanks for a great video!!!

I really appreciate your willingness to eat sweet stuff even though you are not a fan. The older I get, the less I like sweet food unless it's also spicy hot. SO thank you for your sacrifice.
How to know when mark doesn't LOVE the food. He just nods his head and doesn't roll his head from left to right haha!
Oh man, that looked painful for you! Haha, but you took one for the team, and the desserts looked great. Thanks for the video.
+Laura Schmidt def took one for the team!
Im not long back from my first trip to Thailand and I fell in love with their sweets and also the chilled fresh fruit stands. Cant wait to get back :) Thanks again for all your fantastic posts!!
Long time subs know you dislike both sweet AND mushy foods. This was definitely a challenge. Great video Mark!
Tosh T He's a chilli machine.
Love watching you Mark eating all the food, big & I mean big mouthfuls of food. I am always amazed how much you eat in one bite but I noticed you did not do that with the desserts :). I will keep watching, in fact I come to youtube to look up something for school & end up watching you eat instead....:).
This is a video I never thought you'd make given your dislike of sweet things. I liked the last one best too.
Wow! I love sweets and unique desserts so I am very happy that you tasted sweets for us! Interesting and looks very delicious. :)
I'm Thai and I watch your vids everyday. Learned a lot from you too. Thanx for making great food videos :)
I’m just coming around to see your videos now. By the looks of other dishes that you have absolutely loved, this didn’t seem to be your favorite segment to do. I haven’t been too fond of Thai desserts yet, but this cart intrigued me.....hopefully we can find it!!

I'm Laos and I live in the United States and I live all of those desserts, they all have a unique taste.
He should have Ying guest host for the desserts. He seems to dislike sweets so much it's hard to get excited about these dishes- what other people may be really excited about he just seems forcing himself through.
Thank you Mark, for taking one for the team. 😂. Even with not being a sweet fan, you did a fantastic review. I would love to try them all.
we just tried thai desserts for our first time on our channel... and it was DELICIOUS!! these street food desserts looks so good too!
Mark, It is cool to see you in the Essan Thai region, I remember the last time I was in Northeastern Thai at a city called Khon Kaen the people are very friendly and the Thai authentic food at the night market is delicious. The night market in Khon Kaen is huge, you should visit that city someday.

I love desserts especially when I am in the Philippines.
I lover thai desart they er lot of vitamin good for health
That 'bounty bar' u tried could be sth like Gula Melaka guih. But gula melaka guih is molten palm sugar wrapped with green glutinous rice ball
the last dessert made me drool an ocean
Did you mean a Mounds chocolate bar? Glad you showed us some sweets even though they aren't top of your list!
Thank you for your wonderful videos. Does Ying like sweets? Maybe she can give us an overview of the deserts sometime since they aren't your thing?
Mark, I think you should get Ying to do the dessert review I'm sure she loves all the Thai desserts. I would love to see Ying impersonate your facial expression :-)
I tried Luk Chup in Thailand and I loved it!
The deserts look great. Thanks for the vid.

Mark and Ying, Oh yes, the banana and sticky rice together in the leaves....Yes, I would like that. I am like you, not much on sweets. The beautiful lady who made all the food looked like she really enjoyed your visit and watching you eat :)

I recommend "Kyleledotnet" on RUclips his videos are amazing.
Patrick Bartolome Thanks Patrick
I honestly thought the red banana was a piece of sausage
Demi_Mars do you know that red banana isn’t from coloring it is just banana and sugar syrup heat (very long time)
The banana treats looked so tasty !
Hope to see you in Lampang soon.

I really much liked the last one when I ate it as a kid, but I still always prefered the flavour of pure sweet sticky rice, I was just crazy for it.
Yes desert ..i like it in ASEAN COUNTRY even In myanmar same like this sticky rice with coconut and
peanut ..same like thai and Lao Malaysia Indonesia. same
You were referring to mounds candy bar?
I think the next time you have desserts, you can let ying do the commenting (and you can put the translation during the editing because from some of the videos I saw from before I think she likes a bit more sweet things than you do) I love sweet food but I feel kind of sad watching you eat desserts and making comments that make them taste bad...

Hi Mark, as I watch your video and the seller's cook fresh everyday...when do they have time to prepare all the great foods and still have time to sell it..such as this lady selling all her desserts. Not bounty its called mounds. almond joy is the same except almonds on top
Sampalang = tapioca
Yai = granny. Don't address her as "yai" but rather Khun Yai ; reflects on upbringing eg Khun Yai, Khun Yai tham Kanom Aroi aroi
no mango and sticky rice?! that is my fav! =D
delicious😋💖👍
Are you posting the cooking session with the aunty?
Makoy No, wasn't able to get any recipes unfortunately.
Hey Mark a question for you, have you learned to speak Thai or is that you have learned to speak on the way.
Let Ying do the sweets and desserts. 😃
Yum need to ask mom to make me some 😄
I thought I was the only one who disliked sweets, it's nice to know I'm not alone
you need one of your friends that love sweets to also give there opinion on each one.
Hi Mark, is the accommodation expensive in Thai? How much does it normally cost to rent a one-bedroom apartment in Bankok city area? Cheers.
