BANGKOK, THAILAND - Today we’re going on a Thai street food tour at Bangkok’s famous Chatuchak Weekend Market. We’ll eat everything from Thai rice and curry to street snacks to one of the best bowls of shrimp tom yum in Bangkok, hidden within a back alley of the market. Let’s go eat!
Jay Lek Rice and Curry (ร้านข้าวแกงเจ๊เล็ก) - maps.app.goo.gl/Upref6JY9rQEL... - This is a great Thai breakfast rice and curry spot, where you order Khao Rad Gaeng (ข้าวราดแกง) - Mix of dishes over rice.
Mae Sumontha Grilled Honey Pork (หมูย่างน้ำผึ้ง แม่สุมณฑา) - maps.app.goo.gl/4vF7SaeJCnrGU... - This legendary stall at Chatuchak Weekend Market is famous for grilling up moo yang nam peung (หมูย่างน้ำผึ้ง) - Honey grilled pork, and you don’t want to miss it when you’re there.
Rattana Kosin Boat Noodles (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือรัตนโกสินทร์) - maps.app.goo.gl/2frzaV2xAxRww... - Continuing with this Thai street food tour, there are plenty of noodle options, and one of the tastiest is Thai boat noodles. I ordered kuay teow reua neau (boat noodles with beef) ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือ.
Uncle Prayong (ลุงประยงค์ โครงการ 3 แผง 150) - Along with full meals you’ll find an abundance of street food snacks to try throughout the market, and one of my favorites is green mango with sweet fish sauce syrup - mamuang nam pla wan (มะม่วงน้ำปลาหวาน).
Raan Yaam Jae-Euang (ร้านยําเจ๊อึ่ง) - maps.app.goo.gl/fMyqYajnjWi2b... - This unassuming Thai street food stall serves one of the best bowls of shrimp tom yum in Bangkok! Of course you have to try tom yum goong (ต้มยำกุ้ง), shrimp tom yum, but also don’t miss their goong tod kratiam (กุ้งทอดกระเทียม) - fried garlic shrimp, yam ruam mit (ยำผักระเฉด) - all sorts of mixed spicy salads, and yod tantawan moo krob (ผัดยอดทานตะวันหมูกรอบ) - sunflower sprouts with crispy pork belly. This place is a hidden Thai street food gem!

I know I said this before but I honestly will pay good money to fly out to Thailand to eat with Mark for a day this man knows the best of the best food worldwide. Omgoodness!! Each dish looks amazingly delicious but what stood out for me was that succulent honey glazed bbq pork & the river prawns sauteed with garlic. My mouth immediately started to water reviewing these magnificent cuisines. I bet the aroma in those markets alone ignites your hunger. Asian cuisines are my absolute love but Thai in particular is just special because I enjoy the sweet, savory, salty, & spicy combination like a symphony dancing on your senses like joy and happiness to the soul. Do it do it,get to Thailand and you won't regret it. The people were awesome and the variety and the quality of the food is beyond your imagination. Ten days in Bangkok and I ate nothing but street food. Fantastic!!

@@chucktz469 Hey Chuck we know these days nothing is ever as good as advertised and we are always set up for disappointment. Not in Thailand and food that is everywhere. Not one bad experience during my stay. Aside from the food,let me say if you're making your own travel booking for flights I found China Air has widely different prices based on time of the month and days of the week you travel.

been to chatuchak market 3x when i had my BKK holiday over a week ago. I really enjoyed pretty much everything there except the very hot weather... shopping is fun and street foods are really delicious. I will be back there for sure. from UK/Ph

The fresh food jn Thailand isn't packed with garbage. I ate like a cow for 3 weeks there and lost weight.
He exercises every day, and doesn't eat like this when he is home. He has a video on his usual routine. Plus, he is usually sharing food with his wife and son.

The timing of these Bangkok videos, is awesome for me. Going to Bangkok in a week's time. Will try to taste all of that.
What a wonderful vid again! We've visited CC last year but missed these stalls. The grilled honey pork is something I would go back for next summer lol.
But...what we did visit was Sanan Seafood Restaurant, just south of this market, across the road near the water. They serve dilicious food here as well and what we liked too was the airconditioning because CC Market is PIPING HOT during the day.
