Tyrone Power was perfect in The Eddy Duchin Story (he did the best job of "faking the piano"--and I'm a pianist quo have ever seen in film. And there's quite a resemblance between Power and Duchin. This was really neat to see... thanks!

Rollerskating was the most popular date night for Americans back in the 30s… My grandmother told me all about her romance with my grandfather. End it all evolved at Shadeland Park rollerskating rink and Shadeland… Pennsylvania right outside of Albion.

This video is of my grandfather. He died in 1946, and I was born in 1950 so I never knew him or heard his voice before. I found it when I was looking for pictures of San Francisco's 3rd Street Bridge, which is named after him.
