Without getting too into it - Chris is right lol. Bakugou is a hardcore nerd. He never hangs with any of the other kids after classes because he goes to sleep at like 8 everyday lmao. He's in the top 5 of his class and actively tutors his lil crew to keep their grades up, goes to the gym everyday, canonically is a clean freak - that boy is not partying lmao 😂😂
GUYS: the Japanese school year begins in April. The first term runs to around July 20, when summer vacation begins. they return to school in early September for the second term, which lasts until about December 25. The final term begins in early January and continues to late March. So they are about to end their 1st year

I don’t think drinking earlier than the legal age requirement is as big a deal anywhere else in the world as it is in the US. Like it’s just a small booboo and also you can drink without being a party animal? Bakugo can definitely cook and it’s established that he likes spicy food but there’s no way that bottle wasn’t originally drawn to be booze. It’s far more likely that this grocery trip is not canon than that bottle not being alcohol.

Monoma's conversation with Uraraka wasn't for nothing. It was a strategy. Mina and Mineta were losing 3v2 (Mineta was knocked out, in fact). If Uraraka had fallen into Monoma's trap and ran to help Deku, Mina and Mineta would probably have been caught. What defined the outcome of the match was Uraraka's decision to trust Izuku and return to help Mina.
That's pretty much Monoma's thing as a hero. He knows that while his quirk is useful, it actually has alot if limitations. So, in order to use it most effectively he needs to be a bit deceptive, strategize. Wearing wrong number of clocks, keeping his enemies guessing about which quirks he currently has access to and how long he can use them. Anything for the advantage.
Yes! Uraraka was baller, she took down people left and right like a boss! And I agree with these replies, Monoma is very smart. I love how the show seems to introduce him as some kind of joke, with the recurring gag that makes him look a bit dumb, so when he gets serious and has his moments, you realize he's not just a wannabe cool hero but a legit charismatic son of a gun 😂
Monoma as a fighter is actually cool. He's a strategist and a trickster. He's like an opposite to Midoria. Deku uses his strategy to adapt to his opponents, while Monoma is focused on staying unpredictable. He would've probably won if he could take One for all under control!
He did copy the quirk but since that quirk is stockpile he can't use it. So instead of copying the quirk he just copied the "appearance" of it. It'll be explained later on but he did copy it but can't use it.
These guys are completely overlooking all the set up happening here. This is a laying the ground work arc. You need these so that when things pop off later, you don't complain that these things came out of nowhere. This arc is paying off in the manga right now, and for the matter I found this arc fun and engaging.
Yeah it's set up, and I love where it's headed, but I was hoping the anime would end the arc at around episode 9ish, I feel like mostly two whole episodes per fight was a bit much, and there was a bit more padding with flashbacks than usual (some of it necessary/ enjoyable, some less so) Overall I still like the arc quite a lot

School year in Japan starts in beginning of April and goes till March next year 2.) In Japanese schools there are 3 semesters, first from April to early July, then summer break to beginning of September, then second semester is from September to end of December, then short winter break and then last third semester from January till March 3.) MHA season 1 and 2 happened in first semester, so from April till late June; Season 3 happened during summer break so July and August; Season 4 happened from September till beginning of November; And season 5 currently is happening in December and still going I hope this finally help you with timeline of Mha and how much time past, how they are still first year and etc
Chris seems to be the only one that really gets Bakugo's character lol. The guy is just an angry nerd. He goes to bed at 8:30, and yells at the germs in his mouth while he brushes his teeth. His grades are in the top 5 in his class, and he tutors Kirishima. He yelled at his middle school friends for smoking, and wanting to pick up girls after school. Even if he wanted to drink, there's no way he'd do something that would potentially get him kicked out of UA. Also, on a different topic, the movies are canon.

why is nahid complaining about training and calling this a tournament arc its not even a tournament ? its supposed to show them improving and introduce more of class B it would be stupid if they all magically got better without ever showing us why or how
Exactly, what do they want the anime to slow down and have to explain every class B character when the hype things are happening? I like this arc, it serves a good narrative purpose and gives a breath of fresh air especially if you know where this stuff is headed, them saying its slow is kinda short sighted.

They are still first years, they had a summer break when bakugo's was kidnapped, and now we are in winter, they're about to finish their second trimester
I think it was even mentioned in the first episode of this arc (but don't think it was shown in the reaction) that they are currently wearing their winter costumes, which is why Momo had this cool cape (because she has so much skin exposed) and it was definitely said multiple times that Hagakure must be freezing (and is) since she isn't wearing anything or her quirk would make no sense
I honestly wish Monoma would be less of a comedic relief character for the most part and more like how he was in this episode and the last, as well as when he first appeared. When his serious side shows he seems much more interesting, way more interesting than his over the top antics that get him knocked out or silenced. If he had a bigger role in the series and a last comedic one, he could probably become a very intriguing character with the quirk and personality he has.
That would be counter to his character and the point he spent the last two episodes trying to make. He knows he’s not a main character so he’s aiming to be a standout side character, and he knows that using villainous tactics are also part of their training. So he acts over the top and antagonistic towards class A to try and make everyone better heroes, but he gets knocked out for going to far. And while yes it’s played for comic relief if he actually stopped doing it, then it would mean he’s stopped trying to make everyone better heroes

Japanese school years starts in the spring, unlike the US which is at the end of summer/ beginning of autumn. When bakugo was captured that was the summer camp.
Real talk, if that second impact kid didn’t sit on the sidelines, and actually got into shape and became a hand-to-hand fighter, he’d be unstoppable. Imagine being in a fight with him and taking a hit, and then knowing that at any moment, he could hit you in that spot again with enough force to send you flying. He could even time it to send you flying right into another punch/kick. With some skill he could infinite juggle someone. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking, cuz he’s the character that I share a birthday with, so i want him to be cooler 😭
I really enjoyed this training arc. We got to see growth in pretty much all the characters that we hadn't seen before, Class B got some much needed love and attention, and we are set up for a fun back half of this season! Love the reactions guys!
There was some mistranslation last episode. When the previous holder said Deku has 6 more quirks he was inclunding his own quirk. We're gonna see Deku awaken 5 more, not 6. The correct phrase would be something like "you're going to awaken 6 of our quirks"
Exactly, because since there were 8 wielders of One for All before Deku & taking away the original wielder (whose quirk helped create OfA) & All Might (who didn’t add anything to OfA since he was born quirkless), Deku will inherit the quirks of the 6 who were in between the original & All Might. Now it’s just making me wonder what Nana Shimura’s quirk was.

In the first episode, Bakugou yelled at his friends for wanting to go get cigarettes. Because it would tarnish his image and keep him from getting into UA if he got caught.
I personally don't see why everyone is so like... surprised could be the word...? Because most of under age boys and girl go out to parties until 3 a.m. and they drink and yareyare and their parents know they are drinking bit they don't have problems with it unless the police shows up or the boys are driving, at least that's the situation here in Miami, also there are boys an girls that smoke some shit but that's yeah... a big no no compared to alcohol in my opinion

I think he meant "training arcs", which is a better description of what this was. And so far there's been 5 of those (not counting the tournament arc from s2 or the festival from last season).
I think the problem of them not remembering or understanding that a lot of comments talk about comes from the fact that, to avoid spoilers, they end up not being a part of the fandom at all. So the only contact they have to the show is actually watching and talking about each episode once, so it's easy to forget as time goes on.
1. The movies are indeed canon, though they don't fit into the timeline at the exact time they release. The second movie takes place at the end of this season. 2. Seasons are different in Japan. They are in the second half of their first year. The camp with the Wild Wild Pussycats was during the summer. 3. Bakugo may be a hothead, but he's pretty straight-laced. He's a great student. He goes to bed early. In season 1 episode 2 right before he gets captured by the sludge villain, his friends are talking about going to a bar to pick up chicks even though they're underaged and Bakugo yells at them.
why yall thinking this was a tournament arc? this wasnt a tournament? yall know how those work right cause its not like this. tournaments have brackets and advancing rounds and a slowing shrinking pool of contestants until only the best is left. none of that happened here

I also dont even think my hero seasons are that formulaic, just last season the whole first arc was a big bad and the season had no training arc, season 3 barely had one for an episode before villains attacked the camp and season 2 wasnt even training it was the festival/tournament. saying they always follow same plan is kinda just wrong
I think Monoma actually copied One For All. You gotta remember at One For All's core it's just a stockpiling quirk and Monoma maybe only copies the core or barebones of a quirk. He probably just copied One For All's ability to stockpile and not the quirks already stockpiled within it. The first time I watched I was definitely worried we were gonna see Monoma explode like a pinata because I forgot that One For All is pretty useless if you haven't already stockpiled some quirks into it.
The first half is slow because we're only seeing what half the characters are doing. I'll leave it at that but trust me it's going to really ramp up in the second half.
U.A. has a trimester system dividing the school year into three sessions. The summer camp with the Pussycats took place over summer break, marking the end of their first trimester. Soon, they will have winter break, marking the end of their second trimester. I suspect we will reach that point either by the end of this season or start of season six. BUT Don't expect the story to stay rooted in the school year system. According to the manga's author, the manga has reached the start of its final act (ACT not ARC). The consensus is that the story has three acts; the first ended with All Might vs AFO in Kamino, and the second with an event that will likely happen in season six. If this view of the story is accurate, the show could end in season nine or ten. By the end of season six, it'll makes sense why I say this. Just enjoy the ride if you can.
The movies are canon, confirmed fully recently an aspect exclusively from the movie even recently showed up in the manga, and the pay off to nine's experiment is explained currently in the anime they are in the winter, almost christmas, and Japanese school years start on April 1st

The manga has entered its "final act" and if I were to guess, current manga is prob in what will be late S6. Based on the pacing and comments from the author, I'd estimate the anime will close out on S8.... maybe 9. Obviously this is an estimate as the manga is still ongoing.
Depending on how far the manga gets ahead by next year, I could see the big arc being all of S6 almost, they already had to stretch out A vs B to almost 14 episodes because they're getting a bit too close to the manga. (Like when the anime was doing the Overhaul arc the manga was about 10 chapters into the big arc, now the anime is only 1.5 arcs away from the big arc)
I don’t think AvB got stretched out, I think we just forget how long that arc is. But in terms of adaptation, it’s pretty consistent with the manga. In fact, they cut some dialogue here and there. S5 will likely cover 65ish chs (191-252,257), S4 covered 66 ch (125-190). Big arc to current is so far 59 ch (258-317). Just numbers for reference
@@curseesruc I think it still was, JT covers a lot of chapters, but most of them are like 13 pages, compared to the usual 20ish, and it's mostly action so it should go faster in anime form. I don't think it was too stretched out, but it was at least a bit

10:07 Five more, the dub messed up last episode. Simple math: Deku is 9th holder of One for All, he and All Might were quirkless and the original holder's quirk was to pass along the quirk. So six extra quirks mixed with One for All, and Black Whip had just been revealed.

They just switched to winter uniforms, which is why Bakugo now wears sleeves. Don't expect them to get to their second year this season. Still at least they kept the filler to a minimum, with what they put in there seems to be to pad time so they can end the certain at certain points without leaving us on a cliffhanger beyond teasing us for the next season.

They are first year. Also, in Japan, the school year starts in Spring and ends in Spring. In the season, it's late autumn/early winter (because they just barely wore cold-weather costumes for this arc). So they're already past halfway through the year.
The school year started in spring back in April and now it’s winter because everybody added more layers to their hero costumes because of the cold and the Christmas episode is coming up soon.
So they are still in their first year but they are ALSO in their second semester. Shouting back to season 3, the fight where deku and Bakugou teamed up to fight all-might was the practical portion of their MID TERMS. For the first season. The camp they went to with the wild wild pussy cats WAS their Summer Break, between the semesters. And they are in winter as Bakugou noted in his fight it is hard for him to fight in this cold and he is getting warmed up. The black on his outfit is actually thermals for winter fighting. So they are in their second semester and coming close to the end of the first year.
They say the reason deku is the first user who can use the other abilities, every time it was like a sealed gate, and every time it was passed down the gate blocking them from accessing the past users quirks opened, finally with the 9th user able to access them.
Exactly, the only reason Deku had to train so hard is because he was a noodle who'd never worked out a day in his life and had to bulk up in like ten months. Probably most of the more physically focused students could handle OFA without dying and honestly I would expect Monoma to be in pretty good shape considering there's always the possibility that he won't have access to a useful quirk
Dude if an animator or whoever comes out to say that the bottle is hot sauce, that’s a retcon. There is no way in hell that that wasn’t drawn to be booze. Like I love spicy food but I don’t have chaos in my eyes before diving into some hot wings. It’s for more likely that whoever drew that didn’t take every detail of Bakugo’s character into account than that bottle not originally being drawn to represent alcohol.

When this part was happening in the Manga, I remember people saying pretty much exacly what you talk about near the end of discussion, that the story is getting pretty slow and kinda boring. However I only hear good things about where the Manga is at the moment, so I have faith It's gonna pick up soon.
The manga is not even close to whats happening now. Its gotten so good, like it feels like a completely different series. MVA is where it starts and im so looking forward to that arc this season

The mha movies were mentioned in the main story like in season four's recap episode it showed All might's past of him working with David Shield like in the movie two heroes and I looked it up in Google that heroes rising is also canon
In the volume 25 bonus pages it implied Melissa Shield helped make Endeavor’s new hero costume and in a spin-off manga Melissa seemed rather familiar with one of Endeavor’s sidekicks which reinforces that possibility.
Bakugou is a certified nerd (even if he denies it) In terms of skills and intelligence he's Top 3 in the whole class, he's a certified chef who hates a majority of store bought foods that contain a lot of chemicals/preservatives. He goes to sleep by 8 PM everyday, he is canonically a clean freak, he yells at his friends to get their homework done to maintain their grades. He exercises pretty much every day, and he's worried more about becoming the number one hero than anything else. That was a bottle of hot sauce that he grabbed not alcohol, my boy is nowhere close to being the party type lol.
The movies have a weird situation between being canon and non canon. The villian from the second movie is canon because he is in the manga. And the author says the girl from the first movie who helps deku designed endeavors second costume.

The Japanese school year goes from April to March. 1st term is until late July, 2nd until late December, and 3rd until late March. For the chronology of the show, the mall episode (where Shigaraki threatens Deku into talking with him) is right at the start of summer vacation. The movie Two Heroes happens after. Then comes the summer camp and Bakugo being rescued. And then the provisional licensing exam right before the next term begins. Also, the show never really showed Deku out in the world doing stuff as the greatest hero? It had an opening shot that was used in season 2 to give an idea of what it might be like in the future with Deku, but we've never actually seen future Deku, so I'm not sure where that came from.
I get what some of you mean. I love this arc but the pacing from the anime could have been tightened a bit. This wasn't a tournament arc though, it was just a measuring test for each class. Be it their ability or their integrity. This arc really showed a lot of the growth characters went through. This was mostly the build up arc before shit pops off later in the story, it set a lot of things up. And I understand that the show does follow some sort of formula but they do interesting things with it everytime that explores the world or characters so I don't mind. It's all a point of personal preference. Anyways I'm always entertained by your videos and hope you find more enjoyment later in the season. Have a good day!
Suraj doesn't know the definition of fillers. MHA has no fillers because it is a fucking SEASONAL show. Naruto had fillers because it is a fucking weekly shonen, it came out every week for 15 years no break so it needed fillers in the anime so that the story doesn't catch up with the manga.

You guys aren't invalidated for thinking this arc is slow, it was short in the manga because horikoshi was focusing more on the upcoming arc. So studio bones did stretch it for longer than it needed to be which really dragged on unfortunately. However, the order of events have been changed around from how they were in the comics so you'll see the 3-4 episodes of future events before actually going back and seeing the next arc. They did it for suspension building.

GUYS: the Japanese school year begins in April. The first term runs to around July 20, when summer vacation begins. they return to school in early September for the second term, which lasts until about December 25. The final term begins in early January and continues to late March. So they are about to end their 1st year

I don’t think drinking earlier than the legal age requirement is as big a deal anywhere else in the world as it is in the US. Like it’s just a small booboo and also you can drink without being a party animal? Bakugo can definitely cook and it’s established that he likes spicy food but there’s no way that bottle wasn’t originally drawn to be booze. It’s far more likely that this grocery trip is not canon than that bottle not being alcohol.

Monoma's conversation with Uraraka wasn't for nothing. It was a strategy. Mina and Mineta were losing 3v2 (Mineta was knocked out, in fact). If Uraraka had fallen into Monoma's trap and ran to help Deku, Mina and Mineta would probably have been caught.
What defined the outcome of the match was Uraraka's decision to trust Izuku and return to help Mina.

That's pretty much Monoma's thing as a hero. He knows that while his quirk is useful, it actually has alot if limitations. So, in order to use it most effectively he needs to be a bit deceptive, strategize. Wearing wrong number of clocks, keeping his enemies guessing about which quirks he currently has access to and how long he can use them. Anything for the advantage.

I love how the show seems to introduce him as some kind of joke, with the recurring gag that makes him look a bit dumb, so when he gets serious and has his moments, you realize he's not just a wannabe cool hero but a legit charismatic son of a gun 😂
Monoma as a fighter is actually cool. He's a strategist and a trickster. He's like an opposite to Midoria. Deku uses his strategy to adapt to his opponents, while Monoma is focused on staying unpredictable. He would've probably won if he could take One for all under control!

Actually, monoma did copy deku’s quirk, he just didn’t have anything stockpiled yet, so it was useless.
He did copy the quirk but since that quirk is stockpile he can't use it. So instead of copying the quirk he just copied the "appearance" of it. It'll be explained later on but he did copy it but can't use it.
These guys are completely overlooking all the set up happening here. This is a laying the ground work arc. You need these so that when things pop off later, you don't complain that these things came out of nowhere. This arc is paying off in the manga right now, and for the matter I found this arc fun and engaging.

Yeah it's set up, and I love where it's headed, but I was hoping the anime would end the arc at around episode 9ish, I feel like mostly two whole episodes per fight was a bit much, and there was a bit more padding with flashbacks than usual (some of it necessary/ enjoyable, some less so)

1.) School year in Japan starts in beginning of April and goes till March next year
2.) In Japanese schools there are 3 semesters, first from April to early July, then summer break to beginning of September, then second semester is from September to end of December, then short winter break and then last third semester from January till March
3.) MHA season 1 and 2 happened in first semester, so from April till late June;
Season 3 happened during summer break so July and August;
Season 4 happened from September till beginning of November;
And season 5 currently is happening in December and still going

Chris seems to be the only one that really gets Bakugo's character lol. The guy is just an angry nerd. He goes to bed at 8:30, and yells at the germs in his mouth while he brushes his teeth. His grades are in the top 5 in his class, and he tutors Kirishima. He yelled at his middle school friends for smoking, and wanting to pick up girls after school. Even if he wanted to drink, there's no way he'd do something that would potentially get him kicked out of UA.

I think it was even mentioned in the first episode of this arc (but don't think it was shown in the reaction) that they are currently wearing their winter costumes, which is why Momo had this cool cape (because she has so much skin exposed) and it was definitely said multiple times that Hagakure must be freezing (and is) since she isn't wearing anything or her quirk would make no sense
Uraraka have grown really well that shows in this battle. As her good judgement of the situation became the key reason for their team's victory.

I honestly wish Monoma would be less of a comedic relief character for the most part and more like how he was in this episode and the last, as well as when he first appeared. When his serious side shows he seems much more interesting, way more interesting than his over the top antics that get him knocked out or silenced. If he had a bigger role in the series and a last comedic one, he could probably become a very intriguing character with the quirk and personality he has.
Agreed Monoma is pretty smart and I would like to see more of him and Shinso team up.
That would be counter to his character and the point he spent the last two episodes trying to make. He knows he’s not a main character so he’s aiming to be a standout side character, and he knows that using villainous tactics are also part of their training. So he acts over the top and antagonistic towards class A to try and make everyone better heroes, but he gets knocked out for going to far. And while yes it’s played for comic relief if he actually stopped doing it, then it would mean he’s stopped trying to make everyone better heroes

Japanese school years starts in the spring, unlike the US which is at the end of summer/ beginning of autumn. When bakugo was captured that was the summer camp.
Real talk, if that second impact kid didn’t sit on the sidelines, and actually got into shape and became a hand-to-hand fighter, he’d be unstoppable. Imagine being in a fight with him and taking a hit, and then knowing that at any moment, he could hit you in that spot again with enough force to send you flying. He could even time it to send you flying right into another punch/kick. With some skill he could infinite juggle someone.
Maybe it’s just wishful thinking, cuz he’s the character that I share a birthday with, so i want him to be cooler 😭
I really enjoyed this training arc. We got to see growth in pretty much all the characters that we hadn't seen before, Class B got some much needed love and attention, and we are set up for a fun back half of this season! Love the reactions guys!
There was some mistranslation last episode. When the previous holder said Deku has 6 more quirks he was inclunding his own quirk. We're gonna see Deku awaken 5 more, not 6. The correct phrase would be something like "you're going to awaken 6 of our quirks"
Exactly, because since there were 8 wielders of One for All before Deku & taking away the original wielder (whose quirk helped create OfA) & All Might (who didn’t add anything to OfA since he was born quirkless), Deku will inherit the quirks of the 6 who were in between the original & All Might.

1. The movies are indeed canon, though they don't fit into the timeline at the exact time they release. The second movie takes place at the end of this season.
2. Seasons are different in Japan. They are in the second half of their first year. The camp with the Wild Wild Pussycats was during the summer.
3. Bakugo may be a hothead, but he's pretty straight-laced. He's a great student. He goes to bed early. In season 1 episode 2 right before he gets captured by the sludge villain, his friends are talking about going to a bar to pick up chicks even though they're underaged and Bakugo yells at them.

I think Monoma actually copied One For All. You gotta remember at One For All's core it's just a stockpiling quirk and Monoma maybe only copies the core or barebones of a quirk. He probably just copied One For All's ability to stockpile and not the quirks already stockpiled within it. The first time I watched I was definitely worried we were gonna see Monoma explode like a pinata because I forgot that One For All is pretty useless if you haven't already stockpiled some quirks into it.
The first half is slow because we're only seeing what half the characters are doing. I'll leave it at that but trust me it's going to really ramp up in the second half.

U.A. has a trimester system dividing the school year into three sessions. The summer camp with the Pussycats took place over summer break, marking the end of their first trimester. Soon, they will have winter break, marking the end of their second trimester. I suspect we will reach that point either by the end of this season or start of season six.
BUT
Don't expect the story to stay rooted in the school year system. According to the manga's author, the manga has reached the start of its final act (ACT not ARC). The consensus is that the story has three acts; the first ended with All Might vs AFO in Kamino, and the second with an event that will likely happen in season six. If this view of the story is accurate, the show could end in season nine or ten. By the end of season six, it'll makes sense why I say this.
Just enjoy the ride if you can.
I kinda hope that's not true about the third act. I'd really like to see them to at least make it into their third year before the show ends.

The manga has entered its "final act" and if I were to guess, current manga is prob in what will be late S6. Based on the pacing and comments from the author, I'd estimate the anime will close out on S8.... maybe 9. Obviously this is an estimate as the manga is still ongoing.
Depending on how far the manga gets ahead by next year, I could see the big arc being all of S6 almost, they already had to stretch out A vs B to almost 14 episodes because they're getting a bit too close to the manga. (Like when the anime was doing the Overhaul arc the manga was about 10 chapters into the big arc, now the anime is only 1.5 arcs away from the big arc)
I don’t think AvB got stretched out, I think we just forget how long that arc is. But in terms of adaptation, it’s pretty consistent with the manga. In fact, they cut some dialogue here and there. S5 will likely cover 65ish chs (191-252,257), S4 covered 66 ch (125-190). Big arc to current is so far 59 ch (258-317). Just numbers for reference

10:07 Five more, the dub messed up last episode. Simple math: Deku is 9th holder of One for All, he and All Might were quirkless and the original holder's quirk was to pass along the quirk. So six extra quirks mixed with One for All, and Black Whip had just been revealed.

They are first years, but Japanese school year starts in April, so summer break interrupts the school year rather than being the divider. They just switched to winter uniforms, which is why Bakugo now wears sleeves. Don't expect them to get to their second year this season. Still at least they kept the filler to a minimum, with what they put in there seems to be to pad time so they can end the certain at certain points without leaving us on a cliffhanger beyond teasing us for the next season.

Also, in Japan, the school year starts in Spring and ends in Spring. In the season, it's late autumn/early winter (because they just barely wore cold-weather costumes for this arc). So they're already past halfway through the year.
The school year started in spring back in April and now it’s winter because everybody added more layers to their hero costumes because of the cold and the Christmas episode is coming up soon.
So they are still in their first year but they are ALSO in their second semester. Shouting back to season 3, the fight where deku and Bakugou teamed up to fight all-might was the practical portion of their MID TERMS. For the first season. The camp they went to with the wild wild pussy cats WAS their Summer Break, between the semesters. And they are in winter as Bakugou noted in his fight it is hard for him to fight in this cold and he is getting warmed up. The black on his outfit is actually thermals for winter fighting. So they are in their second semester and coming close to the end of the first year.

They say the reason deku is the first user who can use the other abilities, every time it was like a sealed gate, and every time it was passed down the gate blocking them from accessing the past users quirks opened, finally with the 9th user able to access them.

Exactly, the only reason Deku had to train so hard is because he was a noodle who'd never worked out a day in his life and had to bulk up in like ten months. Probably most of the more physically focused students could handle OFA without dying and honestly I would expect Monoma to be in pretty good shape considering there's always the possibility that he won't have access to a useful quirk
Dude if an animator or whoever comes out to say that the bottle is hot sauce, that’s a retcon. There is no way in hell that that wasn’t drawn to be booze. Like I love spicy food but I don’t have chaos in my eyes before diving into some hot wings. It’s for more likely that whoever drew that didn’t take every detail of Bakugo’s character into account than that bottle not originally being drawn to represent alcohol.

When this part was happening in the Manga, I remember people saying pretty much exacly what you talk about near the end of discussion, that the story is getting pretty slow and kinda boring. However I only hear good things about where the Manga is at the moment, so I have faith It's gonna pick up soon.

The mha movies were mentioned in the main story like in season four's recap episode it showed All might's past of him working with David Shield like in the movie two heroes and I looked it up in Google that heroes rising is also canon
In the volume 25 bonus pages it implied Melissa Shield helped make Endeavor’s new hero costume and in a spin-off manga Melissa seemed rather familiar with one of Endeavor’s sidekicks which reinforces that possibility.
Bakugou is a certified nerd (even if he denies it) In terms of skills and intelligence he's Top 3 in the whole class, he's a certified chef who hates a majority of store bought foods that contain a lot of chemicals/preservatives. He goes to sleep by 8 PM everyday, he is canonically a clean freak, he yells at his friends to get their homework done to maintain their grades. He exercises pretty much every day, and he's worried more about becoming the number one hero than anything else. That was a bottle of hot sauce that he grabbed not alcohol, my boy is nowhere close to being the party type lol.
The movies have a weird situation between being canon and non canon. The villian from the second movie is canon because he is in the manga. And the author says the girl from the first movie who helps deku designed endeavors second costume.

The Japanese school year goes from April to March. 1st term is until late July, 2nd until late December, and 3rd until late March. For the chronology of the show, the mall episode (where Shigaraki threatens Deku into talking with him) is right at the start of summer vacation. The movie Two Heroes happens after. Then comes the summer camp and Bakugo being rescued. And then the provisional licensing exam right before the next term begins.
Also, the show never really showed Deku out in the world doing stuff as the greatest hero? It had an opening shot that was used in season 2 to give an idea of what it might be like in the future with Deku, but we've never actually seen future Deku, so I'm not sure where that came from.
I get what some of you mean. I love this arc but the pacing from the anime could have been tightened a bit. This wasn't a tournament arc though, it was just a measuring test for each class. Be it their ability or their integrity. This arc really showed a lot of the growth characters went through. This was mostly the build up arc before shit pops off later in the story, it set a lot of things up. And I understand that the show does follow some sort of formula but they do interesting things with it everytime that explores the world or characters so I don't mind. It's all a point of personal preference. Anyways I'm always entertained by your videos and hope you find more enjoyment later in the season. Have a good day!

Suraj doesn't know the definition of fillers. MHA has no fillers because it is a fucking SEASONAL show. Naruto had fillers because it is a fucking weekly shonen, it came out every week for 15 years no break so it needed fillers in the anime so that the story doesn't catch up with the manga.
Guess you forgot about MHA having fillers, it's had multiple and the 1st episode of every season since S2 is filler.

Bakugo is a grade A geek that cosplays as a delinquent. He acts like a bad boy, but has perfect attendance/grades/bedtime. He's a total boyscout, which is why I personally think he wouldn't drink. It would hinder his performance. He probably chugs protein powder shakes and gatorade.

You guys aren't invalidated for thinking this arc is slow, it was short in the manga because horikoshi was focusing more on the upcoming arc. So studio bones did stretch it for longer than it needed to be which really dragged on unfortunately. However, the order of events have been changed around from how they were in the comics so you'll see the 3-4 episodes of future events before actually going back and seeing the next arc. They did it for suspension building.
