what a lovely sound. my dad had bone of them in the seventies here in englend. im 52 now but what a buzz that was watching that. wish I could go in it. thanks.
older trucks were more enjoyable to drive, they didn't have synchro boxes or great heaters, wipers, mirrors, even power steering, drove the octopus occasionally, you need not use the clutch when changing gear except for pulling away
Love the sound of that Engine.
Those Leyland's could pull like a train, & sound great doing it!
Mate, this sound is second to none. Even better than old Big Cam.
Sounds bloody healthy does that 💪
2 words. Just wonderful. 😊

Eddie Kennedy sir is the engine of this lorry leyland 0.600 or leyland 0.680 engine
@@ghaliblaskar4319 that's a 680.
@@billalbion video says it's a tl11 engine but we had a tl11 and it didn't sound like that,
Perfect sound almost as if its the predecessor to the Cummins NTE370 & 400's ... very similar note. Lovely truck!
sounds great the sound of a real truck
Fan bloody tastic
Is the turbo charged Six Cylinder Diesel Engine or Non-Turbo Six Cylinder Diesel Engine?
Turbo TL11 - T for Turbo, L for Leyland 11 for litres displacement.
Sounds AWESOME!!!! 😉👍

Video could have been a lot better if a skilled cameraman had shot the video... Could hv seen the beautifully sounding truck as well.
Camera man lacks imagination, for God sake show the driver driving and changing gear etc.
