  • In the 1960s you could get an Amphicar, the West German made convertibles with a whopping 43-hp engine.
    Only a few thousand were made and a hundred have survived around the world. John Dewar owns 5 of them and brought us for a ride and even let Steve get behind the wheel to cruise a section of the Trent-Severn Waterway.
    This was featured in Episode 2 (Series 1) of Water Ways Television.
