I'm actually surprised why TF2 isn't streamed as often. The game is free, it can run on potato PCs, it has private servers that are super easy to set up, there's a PvE mode vs merasmus or machines, and because of how old it is, there are all sorts of game modes like prop hunt, and there are more than enough mods that I haven't even considered.
And thanks to valve now letting us disable decals on objectors, they arent at risk of showing corn when playing in public! ...though you cannot really censor names. I hope theres a mod that can just change the names of ppl you play with so youtube doesnt see the funky ones lmao
TF2 isn’t really a good beginner friendly or a good streamer friendly game. It has dated mechanics and alot to learn for a variety streamer who’d probably check it out once and then never again.
I heard there were incidents of hackers occupying the servers so I think it's just fair to see how streaming TF will certainly not be a mass hit entertainment for some especially that it is barely known by other people.
