@@rebkahibasdeys i would think using a combination of cloth sim and cloth brush would be the best. You can then bake the result to save on polygons. I could make a video on car seats as I focus on vehicles but the workflow would be relatively similar in some ways
You may have transformed your Lattice in edit mode or it could be related to some of the transforms not being applied. Try only scaling the lattice in object mode only to make it fit the size of your grille or if you don’t want to use another one just scale the lattice you are using right now until the grille is the right size
Thank you!! Yes I modeled and designed it and used the updated version technique I show in my car tutorial series. Basically subdivision modeling with shrinkwrap modifiers to keep everything clean. You can download the model on Blenderkit for free if you want to study it!
whoaw......learnt something new today. thank you.
your english and way of explanation is excellent btw
Thanks a lot I really appreciate it!! Let me know what you would like to see for a future video 😄

Great tutorial, I love the technique. Thank you for teaching us this valuable lesson. Keep it up!
No problem, always good to hear people are learning new things!
Awesome video. Thanks for taking the time to make it!
Thank you for taking the time to comment!!
Thanks for that - was working on a grille and this was very to the point and helpful with the lattices.
Glad to hear that! Are there any other areas of a car that you find hard to model or time consuming?
Thanks in advance!
1:57 was sure I was looking at an elephant butt
I think this must be pretty accurate 😂
👍😂
Thank you very much. Very detail explanations. 💯
Thank you for taking your time to comment!
This is a good method.
Thank you!
Nice technique. Hadnt seen that before and will definitely try it out. Thanks
Great to hear that! Thank you for watching!!
@@baril3d No problem. I model cars myself on RUclips too. its great to see different techniques and learn new things
Awesome work. I would love to get into creating custom car grilles but this was way over my head.
Thank you! I will look into making a tutorial for creating custom patterns, shouldn’t be too hard :)
great tutorial. great contribution. You have my like Thank you so much. Greetings
Thank you for the kind words!
super helpful .. thanks bro
its like propositional editing but with more control good technique
Exactly! You can think of it as a non destructive proportional editing
@baril3d blender developers should add the proportional editing as modifier
i tried this for a ford explorer a much more difficult grill but it looks good
Nice car :) thank you for sharing Baril3D :)
Well thank you for taking your time to comment my friend!
great video!!
Thank you! Much appreciated 🙂
thank uuuuuu
Quick Tip: (For users who are not familiar with lattice object)
Scale the Lattice object in object mode and don't apply the scale.
Good idea to mention it!
@@baril3d Thank you for tutorial. 🙏
Thank you for taking your time to comment!
Why when i choose tle lattice as object in modifier my grill become small?

@@baril3d thank u, i knew about it in other comment
Hey did you model this entire Bugatti? It looks so sharp and clean, very nice model.
Did you use any specific modeling technique?
Thank you!! Yes I modeled and designed it and used the updated version technique I show in my car tutorial series.

The Thumbnail is the Grill patern of Bugatti.
Tutorial in the Video is NOT Bugatti grill pattern
Hey, you can use any pattern you want, doesn’t have to be this one…
the add menu dont shows me "Extra"
Enable the addon extra objects and it should appear 🙂
