    Thank you so much for the demonstration and advice. My podiatrist recommended this, I just ordered mine today from Amazon. I have been in a boot for a while, can’t wait for it to get here. To get out of this boot will be a perfect blessing. Thanks again you rock.😊

    Thanks for the video. Would be helpful if you (or someone) would demonstrate how to size it. The instruction sheet they provide is kind of vague.

      I completely agree because they don’t offer returns! I’m either an xs or small. Gambled on the xs, we’ll see. 😅

    I bought a pair 5-6 years ago not knowing how good these were. Now I use them on every single bball shoes.
    They really lock your ankles into place as described. I cant count how many times these things saved my ankles.
    Last night I rolled my ankle and landed on someone's foot from a rebound but I was able to alleviate the damage with the help of this one.
    Had it not been for this product, my right ankle would have been in a much tougher situation

      Do you experience your feet getting numb from the braces?

    • @t3n5a1
      @t3n5a1 Год назад +1

      @tylerblair4691 I did at first, but u need to leave a bit of space for your feet to breathe since the skin expand. The thing that worked for me best was to put the braces on while you putting pressure on your feet. This way the braces molds the right amount of tightness around your foot so it doesn't interfere with blood flow when you're running on them.
      Hope that helps. You can always adjust the tightness anyway

    • @t3n5a1
      @t3n5a1 Год назад +1

      What you should be worried about is not how tight it is around your soles, but how secured the side straps and the strap on the front ankle.

    I've seen several videos recommending this brace for chronic conditions. How does it perform in acute needs? I had surgery on the tendon that runs outside the ankle and under the foot. My podiatrist has prescribed this brace for after I can bear weight on my foot.

    • @ForTeamTang
      @ForTeamTang  2 года назад +1

      Generally speaking, if it is that acute and inflamed, usually a hard brace is put on. This brace is good for support, but I think it would pretty painful to have on especially if the ankle is very swollen. I personally like the shock doctor more for that reason because of the elastic bands make it a little bit more adjustable. But if the podiatrist prescribed, I see no reason why you should against the advice.

  • @mulderchrist

    Thank you for the review. I think that helps people to figure out how to wear it and to get an idea about the product.
    I personally did not like the material at all. The whole strap and bottom make this ankle guard slippery. Just to walk in my flat to go and grab my shoes made me loss balance. I won't recommend this product as I found it dangerous and very tiring to set up without fitting properly. My feet are wide but my ankle is way narrower as a result the back tends to be loose which could potentially irritate my skin for long usage and the strap barely makes it back to wear it is supposed to go. I decided to return this product after trying to adjust it, puzzling if this material was appropriate. At the end, it is for me a hard and firm "no". Not for me.

      @@stevengrant9837 It could work if the tedonitis is coming from a lack of stability. Bigger question comes down to whether the lack of stability is coming from a lack of strength, or damage of the tendon itself, or both. Depending on the answer would dictate how effective a brace would be

    Hi I ankle roll and my physio person recommended these as well as a bracing specialist there did also just prior to me going to my doctor to find out that I have hip dysplasia and probably osteoarthritis too he didn’t however recommend sigvaris compression socks however because I already have tight muscle tone I guess however both of them recommended this particular brace that is really snug fitting and causes me pain however what I really wanted was an ankle foot orthosis… Anyways my doctor is referring me to a orthopaedic surgeon so hopefully 🙏🏻 they will have some answers that actually make more sense then they do!

    • @ForTeamTang

      Seems strange that with pathologies of hips displasia that an ankle brace is being recommended? Haven't heard that before.
