You can still use it to build certain things dum dum. There are two types of it, and only one was banned outright. The other can be used as long as it isn't exposed to the ventilation system. Basically, if you want to use it, it has to be sealed in. The issue here is, the barracks are built with cheap crap, and it ends up getting out. Do your research.
@@kenaultman7499 Hey dum dum you are the one that is incorrect. As a matter of fact, I did my research, since I was one of the safety NCOs during the prime mitigation efforts at Fort Bragg. I was also stationed at Fort Bragg when those barracks were built. So don't tell me your BS.
If your number one priority is taking care of soldiers, why make up stuff as excuses for why stuff can't get done. You all wanna be officers and higher enlisted but you don't think the soldiers of today need you? Asbestos-infested buildings, service contractors being rude and taking over our jobs in the military, a lot of harassment and bullying, unnecessary training we don't need, shoddy pay for soldiers expected to have money to do things like buy gear when ACU was being rotated out instead of keeping both uniforms, CIF (Supply Civilians who issue Gear) not hiring a cleaning person who can make transitioning to Civilian Life a bit easier, Unnecessary tasks and writing soldiers off when real harassment is evident, yelling at soldiers for every little thing simply because its soooo hard to speak normally to a soldier and calling it traditional, short lunch breaks and long work hours for soldiers that end up at DFAC when its packed instead of allowing them to eat plenty to have energy so they're not starved and end up tired or sleepy during work hours, the constant idea of getting punished for things you wouldn't normally be getting in trouble for, the constant fear of enjoying your freetime because of getting recalled back to the Base because leaders can't punish one person because of traditional things, and a plethora of more issues... we keep falling short in recruitment because people are realizing that your own people don't care about you, the things that you go through while in service, the lack of understanding for soldiers with mental trauma from either combat or abuse, and the idea that you're doing things backwards because the reason being is that you're a service member and that apparently means keep being WW2, Vietnam war, Cold war-like soldiers because HoOaH and OoOrAh despite times changing every generation... I get it. They also shouldn't be babied but that doesn't give people who shouldn't even be leaders the right to abuse their lower enlisted from E-1 to E-6s simply because they're angy and wanna stroke their egos and flex just to get promoted. I am someone in the National Guard that has mental illnesses related to my childhood and from the very idea that I'm serving a country that doesn't seem to be military friendly to those that get out of the service and most of us don't wanna inconvenience anyone. Considering how the VA treats us in the service and how contractors take over our jobs is quite baffling. We get an insane amount of budget but it is spent of those 500 dollar hammers and that 2000 dollar gear we get issued and gets destroyed because the military is so cheap while paying leaders insane paychecks to have people listen to them and do as they say as they let their power go to their noggins... every generation has their own version of troops and I'm not sorry for being young... I'm not sorry that I am who I am because at the end of the day its my parents and everyone else's parents that failed in keeping the past in the present... what, you had to live without what we have today so now you are angry at today's generations because you think mindlessly fighting a war and mental illness being sissy-like and childish thing or girly thing is better than not dying for reasons made up by older men and women? What, women aren't submissive enough, men from many decades ago? What, we are all trying to get along? Look, to my older citizens, times change. The whole reason why today's society is ate up is because you refuse to let us take the lead as you did during your time. You refuse to allow today's generations to make decisions and you neglect today's kids because you think all this technology and societal structure is of some guy you think is causing all of these problems... wake up and smell the roses, today, the reason why kids are the way they are, is because you keep trying ro remain in power and fail to realize that your time is OVER. We don't wanna fight your battles, we don't wanna be subjugated as you weren't and we definitely don't wanna use our one chance at life to live as if YOU want to live through us. Death is inevitable and time moves on. The sooner you old heads stop trying to control everything and using outdated laws, the sooner we can work towards building OUR futures together. This isn't about the past or present... This is about the future for OUR kids and their kids and their future... humans are here to build and discover and the only reason we chase instant gratification is because that's the only escape we have from the constant abuse we get from people who are too much of cowards to let go of the past... We don't wanna kill each other, argue with each other and live like the world is gonna end soon... we wanna choose our fate like YOU did. Call us names if you want but the chaos will continue until you decide to pass the torch onto us. We know you want to live as easy as possible too... stop taking our hopes and dreams away because you think we should work factory jobs and fall in love with anyone we don't love and bring kids into a world that isn't ready for another generation yet seeing as we Younger folk need to repair the damages YOU caused. This goes for every country in the world... its our turn to be better, to be different. Why have us in the first place if you're gonna change your minds last minute and decide you don't wanna evolve and grow? We never asked to be born yet you prance around thinking you should control us and we should apparently let you all tell us what to do as if we already don't know your plans... we're not stupid in todays day and age. We are allowed to make decisions we want whether its sissy like or not because again, we never asked to be born. Execute us kids, teens and young adults if you wanna destroy each other and live greedy and prideful. We don't wanna live in constant plight everyday and we're all tired of the who political struggle we're always in with other countries. Jeez you older people's prides need to be stroked so carefully or else you end up wanting to send us to our deaths because we toootally don't know why we fight wars today... considering how you rich people love war so much. Why don't you all go to war yourselves and stop taking younger people's lives because you wanna feel powerful... we only get one shot at life and its not fair that I'm not allowed to build a life of my own or help others because of ego....
