Yeah. I have to agree. I got my sons the Micarta set. The folder and fixed blades. They absolutely love them. I’ve put these through some rigorous testing and they passed with flying colors. If you ever get the fixed blade, you’ll love it.
Those Swiss Tech knives are very good I got the carbon fiber and i want the macarta version. Like you I love my Benchmade's but they are so expensive I hate to drop or dull them on Amazon boxes. I can buy the Swiss Tech cut whatever i want to without worry and just buy another in a year, for $30 they are very nice I believe the best $30 you can spend on a knife.
I bought my son the carbon fiber ones for a stocking stuffer on Christmas. Amazing value.
