Awesome review, which usually like your reviews, and I’ve always been a kawi man, though I just last I did the dirty and bought the BMW M package, but now I love this zx10r
Awesome video Michael, the new Ninja looks insane !! Looks like I’ll be dreaming I’m going flat out on this bike even though I’m on my Ninja 125 performance 😂
Would be nice to see manufacturers exploring neat ways to integrate the screen with the cowl seamlessly with a plastic lock mechanism or similar. The allen bolts seem so 1990's. Nice looking bike if only I could get over the predator face.
Great review! Very well presented unlike the American test riders who are largely over the top! Sorry USA! I've still got my zx9r but tempted to get a new zx10r. There is nothing like a kawasaki zx10r honda fireblade .
Cheers Mark, there's a whole lotta love for the ZX-10 range from over the pond and I've never really understood why it's specifically popular in the USA. Thanks, Michael
Just wish the colour scheme was different and it still doesn't have a fuel gauge. They must know its mainly going to be used for street riding that's the only area Kawasaki lets themselves down is rider aids for road. Got a 2018 ZX10R wanted to upgrade but going to wait for the time being.
I have got a Gen 4 very proud of it. The Gen 4 set the foundation for Kawasaki's success story both at WSBK and on roads. Is this Gen 6 really that radically different to a Gen 4? Really want this Gen 6 but due to budget constraints may have to settle in for a used bike in coming years perhaps. I am an occasional track day rider and also do bit of riding on the road.
Looking forward to this... Stock exhaust system is nicely made to bring the clear attention to the world.. 💥 I'm going to put all those 💸💸💸 to have this in my life soon... 🔥🔥🔥
Not without the optional race kit ECU. Otherwise the traction control and wheel lift control are linked and controlled electronically by the KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function). The system is able to distinguish between wheel lift resulting from strong acceleration, which is smooth, and other types of wheel lift. The system allows torque-induced wheel lift so far as acceptable acceleration is maintained. Other wheel lift triggers system intervention. Hope that helps. Cheers, Michael.
Great review. But same old problem. Too many rider aids. Great for safety, but takes away a lot of need for experience and skill from the rider. Namely here is your litre bike and here is the cotton wool to wrap you in.
@@ventisette. I've been buying ZX's for about 22/23yrs and I've not seen any with red trim. Some of the ZXR's had red bits on belly pans and tails and obviously there were many generations of ZX that were also available in majority red. I don't see how this is a "tribute" to ZX's of old though. The reason they went for lime green with little else is because nobody liked the red years ago so why throw it in now?
Not the best looking bike ever, but it looks cool. The past 2 ZX-10's were ugly. I like Kawasaki, but just think there are better bikes available. Of course Kawasaki still is at 1000 cc, does not cheat with an extra 100 or 200 cc.
nothing looks like a kawasaki and i for one love the looks of this
That was a great review, 💯 spot on...An ECU flash, full pipe, or even a slip-on. It’s going to be a beast.
I have to agree with you on this. First time I actually like the zx10r in a very long time.
😂how can Yamaha, Ducati, BMW etc. Can look like kawasaki 🤣🤣🤣
I think Kawasaki did a fantastic job with the new ZX 10R especially price wise when you look at the price of the other bikes
Can’t wait to see a track comparison of the the new 1000cc bikes !
Thanks for this video will read your review too
Thanks. Yes, it'll be interesting which of the standard production models can top the time sheets.
@@bennettsbikesocial Would you like to venture a guess already?
@@nickthequick Depends on the circuit! The M 1000 RR is an easy bike to ride quickly but the Fireblade and Ducati are also strong.
This bike is slowly growing on me, i might just buy one and add it to my collection of kawasaki beasts 💚💚💚
Is that your collection a plastic toy
@@jasondavies6220 🤣 you funny guy

Excellent review. Covered everything very well.
Thanks very much, I also appreciate the positive comments. Cheers, Michael

Thanks Joey, it's a massive improvement on the outgoing model and so very easy to ride. You'll be there one day, I'm sure.
Cheers, MM

Thumbs up for the Review. And I am EAGERLY waiting for the Review of BMW M 1000 RR😍
Thanks! You won't have to wait long. Maybe tomorrow.

@@bennettsbikesocial woww. That's great news to here. Thank you for the reply Sir.

Hey guys compared to a 2015 GSX R 750 how are the pegs.
Love the front end on this bike...unfortunately well out of my price range...but maybe in 10-15 years time i can pick one up :)
They made the front look similar to the H2 and H2R
Compared to my 2018 GSXR 1000R my 2021 ZX-10R has no balls down low...but its more refined.
Way more beautiful than the previous model.
Looking forward to this...
Stock exhaust system is nicely made to bring the clear attention to the world..

I know it's got 5 traction control settings but does it have specific wheelie control?

I still can't get used to the red trim on a Kwaka.
It's a tribute to the original ZXR750 which also came with red trim

fact that it appears to have two headlights rather than bulshit one headlight

Kawasaki are doing well in WSB, but this is not a WSB.
