These ladies are the best at what they do. The twin leads practice together for hours and have become symbiotic, in fact they did so yesterday I believe. I’m a diehard fan, but even I drew breath at this live performance…it’s the closest thing to perfection it’s possible to be. Great reaction…impossible not to headbang isn’t it!

The dark haired guitarist Miyako, not only is she a bad ass.....she was about 4 months pregnant at this show & as good as she is on guitar......she's evan better at the piano, been playing since the age of 3. Try, " Revolutionary Etude + Swan Song ", Miyako composed the music & slays the piano.❤🎹🎙🎸🥁😎👌
Yes they are in heels generally (except the drummer who wears red pumps while playing although she'll stop to put her heels on before coming out front to acknowledge the fans at the end of the show). The exception on this occasion is Miyako, the dark haired guitarist. Normally she would be wearing heels as well but in this concert she wore comfortable flat shoes instead. The reason for that is that she was four and a half months pregnant at the time! Ok boys... so you think you're badass metal? Try matching that!
I bet the 4 month old baby bump in behind Miako's guitar was head banging the whole time. Ha! Ha!. A 2 hour concert, pregnant, and in high heels. Now that's a woman.

I believe the best way describe Lovebites is "frenetically tasteful performance" without overkill that is present in many live bands, The band is the epitome of perfection throughout their extensive discography and live concert videos some that are less frenzied that should be viewed. They have it all! From production, lyrics, vocals, song structure, dress, stage presence and performance I suggest they are the top live rock group in the world today. An American tour would prove my assertion, Hopefully, their bassist Miho will return to make this possible.
Try the Swan Song & Chopin Intro live, a great song. Also try another great Japanese female band called Band-Maid. The live songs Freedom or Domination, both have a little drumsolo in it.

I would not say that Midori is a Herman Li or their fast pickin is like James Hetfield each and every guitarist has their own talent! Besides, when Lovebites toured with dragon force in London they bowed down to greatness. I wouldn't be surprised if many of the male bands of today would be too damn scared to have Lovebites tour with them and be blown off stage by the audience
@@CappVlogs Midori's biggest influences (guitar, blonde hair) are Kiko Loureiro, Nuno Bettencourt and Yngwie Malmsteen. Among the groups that Midori likes, she named the Angra group.
I personally do not think they would do that great in the US, mainly because the play more of a traditional metal and power metal. Most Americans don't like power metal, I don't know why but during the mid 90s the US chose a different path and today US and European metal are like night and day. Lovebites plays more of a European metal which is also popular in South America and Canada, but I think The US is a smaller market for them. My personal favorite is: Shadowmaker - live at Wacken open air 2018 By the way - Never ever choose a live recording from Bloodstock ! (I hope the soundtech was shot on the spot)

They were originally formed as the backing band for the anime franchise "Bangdream", so they were already accomplished musicians, but now they are a great band in their own right. The sad thing about the concert is because of COVID it’s a small sized crowd. But still the ladies went all out.
