This is a 50/50 collaboration but for me the arrangement of the song is heavily influenced by the BabyMetal song writers and arrangers. From my limited knowledge of Electric Callboy songs over the years, they have stuck to their recent formula in this collaboration and it was taken and re worked by BabyMetal to produce Ratatata. Please remember, that is totally my view based on my good knowledge of BabyMetal's material. Others have left you recommendations for BabyMetal.

This is the most pop like Babymetal have been since way back with gimme chocolate but i still love it,these girls can rock with the hardest of them mate and are up there for best live band on the planet award imo Great to see Nico and Kevin working with them and making this banger of a song 🦊

Well and we know quite a bit more how this project started. When someone in their staff realized tha Babymetal played in Boston one day before them, they sebt an invitation. And the girls really came with Kobametal. While originally they didn't want to stay for the whole show, they were invited backstage and at the end of the evening, they hadca contract and their Back Offices started working. Ideas and later song files crossed the world. From Germany to Japan and vise versa. And when the Version counter reached twenty everyone got busy to somehow finish a video before FoxFest and Rock am Ring.

Apparently this is a full equal collab rather than a feature. Just yesterday both bands played it during their sets at Rock Am Ring in Germany and both occasions the other band came out to perform it together. Originally the "Fu! Fu!!" wasn't in the song, but apparently it's a big thing in karaoke in Japan and Babymetal wanted it in even though EC thought it was a bit cheezy. Nico and Kevin said that in hindsight it was right to include it after seeing how the crowd responded to it at FOX_FEST in Japan. I was in Tokyo two weeks ago for FOX_FEST where they performed it live for the first time and it absolutely went off. The crowd went nuts for it. There were 20,000 people all going "Fu! Fu!" Thanks from Japan 有難う💛. BABYMETAL will return to USA and go on tour from Nov. thru Dec. to perform 17 concerts at 15 venues. I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 😄. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (and group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!) ★ The official live video was posted in RUclips !! The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. Now the 3 girls and 2 boys are doing this song with EC band in EC shows and with Kami Band in BM shows, in two ways, in some European festivals 💛。

Babymetal started in 2010, same year as EC, and instead of Techno, they mix J-Pop vocals and choreography with very heavy metal music, and they are by far one of THE best live bands on this planet.
