The problem is though, that Chris Evans ends up playing the 'straight man' while Hemsworth is the funny one. So I totally agree, but also want Chris Evans to get more room to move and expose his personality too.

Strongly disagree lol. Being a good director (which Taika is) and having good chemistry with the actors you're directing (which Taika and Chris do) does not mean you can direct any story and it will be good. Directors have their own styles, and Taika's style shouldn't be anywhere near a Captain America movie. But I would love to see a Taika directed movie starring Chris Evans that ISN'T Captain America. They can really make something special together for sure.

The first time we see Tony's nano suit is the best suit, such an awesome design itself and just the reveal from him being put in his suit by a machine, to him having the suit come to him, to the suit just being stored limitlessly and in the tiniest of items that can be removed, just everything about it is awesome.
Taika seems to have amazing chemistry with everyone. I've never seen a bad joint interview with him.

Indeed, my guess is that he was not paired with almost anybody during the Lightyear interviews, hence why he was a bit done.

New Zealand has really been putting themselves on the Hollywood map lately huh? Taika Waititi who is a great director and writer. Temuera Morrison, doing a great job playing Boba Fett, Anthony Starr who amazingly acts as Homelander and captures the perfect balance between intimidating and awkward, and Karl Urban who is just a legend, from Lord of the Rings to Marvel to The Boys playing an awesome Butcher.
As a kiwi calling Australia home, its bloody wonderful to see😁 Always been a fan of Karl Urban but seeing Starr in The Boys, just icing on the cake. He is brilliantly scary. Lovin The Boys.

@@perce1veALL What I mean is, he's not dealing with the rigors of daily life. He could have retired in his mid 30's, maybe even sooner, and lived comfortably the rest of his life. I mentioned his age because while 40 is considered middle aged, or close to middle aged, it's still an age where people tend to retain some of their youthfulness. He looks like he's in his early to mid 30's which is not far from his actual age, therefore not very surprising with someone who has millions, works half as hard as your average person, and has a team dedicated to seeing him win at everything...unlike you and me...we have to live in a cycle of scraping and clawing for whatever we get, then we have the pleasure of watching it fade away again. This is not a knock against Chris. He's a great actor, and he seems like a great guy...but sitting here amazed at how someone who has all the advantages in the world could look youthful is like being amazed that water is wet.

It's funny how Chris Evan's Boston accent comes through ever so slightly, as the years of Hollywood I'm sure have mellowed it. He sounds slightly out of place to where you usually hear him, but not enough to where you can really tell what it is.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who noticed his accent is not like his other interviews.
His New England accent has always been there but maybe since I grew up closer to NE I can pick it out easier. His accent is especially noticeable in interviews with his brother Scott.

Every time Chris says "Aussie rules rugby", part of me dies inside. It's a completely different game and has nothing to do with rugby. Aussie rules originated from an ancient Indigenous ball game (Marngrook) cross-pollinated with Gaelic football.

I just came from Chris Evan's "answer questions while playing with puppies" interview, in which I feel like we didn't really learn much about him, but I could have watched him play with puppies and senior dogs for another 4 hours, with no problem. I kinda get the same feeling from watching this video. It's too short. I could literally watch these two interact all day. They could solve the world's issues.
