Idk how to describe this exactly but watching the game live, the camera work was impeccable. Perfect angles and coverage. I got chills when they had the Red Sox closer come out in the 9th
I watched the whole game, and it has been the best of the second half of the season. Sure we're just starting the second half, but still. Kudos to Dodgers and Red Sox for the great game and series

I was at this game, funnily enough sitting right behind some of Jarren Duran's family. Game was one of the most nerve wracking games I've been to, but we pulled it out in the end. Thank you Jansen for another big win for the dodgers!

Dave Roberts' favorite Yohan Ramírez was likely to ruin the game again tho, the bottom of the Dodger-order came back with incredible toughness. It's almost over at the top of the 11th inning when Treinen closed decently, and then at full-base and 2-0, the meatball was ready to be blasted by Will Smith.
Like Dodgers optioned Bobby Miler and Walker real quick after they pitched not great. Without any hesitation. Not taking Doc's decision into using his arm. But Ramirez cost Dodgers some wins. But somehow Ramirez still has a spot on the roster after the All-Star Break lol.

No issues with the person, but the performance is just not good. I’d be horrified to see him in October.
I'm certainly not a Roberts fan, but it's pretty ironic that a few weeks ago Core was rumored to be in line for the LAD gig should things go south for David. Hasn't been Cora's best managing at the end of games these last two vs LA.

Today the Red Sox intentionally walked Shohei Ohtani which led to a Will Smith Walk Off Single

Well it's a good tactic to take on less threat batters, but it's useless if every lineup are good hitters
I don't blame Cora for intentionally walking Ohtani today and Smith last night in those crucial situations. You've got to keep the force play in order at any base, but they got burned with Freddie's grand slam despite the leftie pitcher. Freddie hits lefties and righties equally well, so it was a tough decision. Smith's walk-off single was just a great piece of hitting.
Do you try to coax a ground ball for a possible double play? It didn't work out so well last night and didn't tonight.
The top 1-5 hitters in the Dodgers batting order can be deadly. Even with Mookie Betts out for the time being....just wait until we get Max Muncy back in the lineup!

The one they did yesterday was more of a risky move but the one they did today was smarter, the pitcher just hung a pitch right down the middle. It was either pitch to Ohtani with a runner on third that would win the game or pitch to Smith with a runner on third that would win the game. It doesnt take a genius to choose who you would rather pitch to 😂

It was a really tough match, but we were able to win in the end. Not losing games like this is the clear difference between the Dodgers and the Angels. I'm really glad Ohtani went to the Dodgers.
So what did the Angels get for Ohtani? Freeman? Betts?

What a game! But when I saw Ramirez I said to myself, The Dodgers are giving up the game, that guy is a terrible pitcher, but the Dodgers managed to win the game.
He's not a terrible pitcher. He just doesn't pitch well. There's a difference. He has stuff... look at the outs he did get. But he also makes mistakes that are too often costly. He needs to be off the major league roster or on a different one at this point.

Perfect Saturday game. Almost 4 hours, back and forth scoring, great defense, great offense, good pitching, great hitting, HRs, and a Dodgers win.
I was at the game and the double play in the bottom of the eighth at 7:30 was absolutely devastating for Dodgers fans. It was such an poor and unlucky play. I watched a lot of Dodger fans start to leave at that point. That said, it was my girlfriends first Dodger game and she was locked in. What an awesome comeback in extra innings to win it. Sox fans in my section were absolute class afterwards, shook hands with a few of them while we all congratulated each other on a great game. 10/10 baseball experience.
Insane how select players (outside of the division) play against us in LA (De La Cruz, Duran, Chisholm, etc.) Almost like they want to showcase themselves to Dodger scouts and the Front office 😂
I was ready to smash my TV when Rojas swung at the 2-0 pitch about 3 feet below zone with the bases loaded. The only thing that made me keep watching was the allure of a possible Jensen blown save against the bottom of the order. What a game!

Boston has some outstanding young players, but their bullpen has been the death of them in these last couple of games. You've got to have a bullpen that can keep the opposite team at bay for the last two or three innings.

Dodgers came out the winners after the lead had changed hands time and time again, seesaw game. Not only Top batting lineup, but also bottom batting lineup contributed to victory. I'm happy Dodgers won despite of many pitchers in IL. Red Sox played a good game, too.

I love that it was Jansen's first dinger given up this season, though. Kiké's always been clutch for us. I still remember that playoff clincher at Wrigley when he beat the Cubs all by himself by hitting TWO grand slams and a two-run shot in that game! I hope they don't trade him; we should never trade clutch!

This game was so intense
Dodgers overcame their own mistakes in critical times this game. I am elated they did. Batter hit into a double play with bases loaded was a huge error, especially when it was a half swing. Glad it worked out anyway.

As a Dodger Fan I could not stand Wainwright announcing, all game I felt like he was rooting against the Dodgers. He hardly called out Red Sox mistakes. Clearly bias, being he is a lifelong Cardinal.

Solid series win for the Dodgers, but I still see the same big issue that's been plaguing them ever since Roberts "took over" as team manager back in 2016: ANALYTICS DON'T WIN WS TITLES!!! Wrobleski kid was pitching a gem and instead of being allowed to finish that 5th inning, Roberts "goes by the numbers" and yanks him for proverbial gas can Yohan Ramirez. Move nearly cost them the game right there, too. Fortunately, old buddy Jansen still showing he has NO business closing in a pressure-packed environment (thanks, Enrique!). That said, good luck going after Skubal and Miller Friedman...
