Hi! I got an Aerial Silk 2 months ago and doing my best to learn poses on it and show my progress on RUclips too! Your videos help a lot, thank you so much!!! 😃
Hi, my advice is always to hire a rigging company or to buy a freestanding rig. I have no where near enough knowledge of forces and building structure etc to either install my own rigging or give any advice on how to do it, in my old studio (the one featured in most of the clips in this video) I paid a rigging company to install my rigging, in my new studio I bought a freestanding truss. I hope that helps and explains why neither myself nor most other aerialists will make a video advising people how to rig! :)
Hi there are so many different names for tricks, I'm not sure what this one is. All tutorials and any new tutorials I upload are on academy.uniqueaerialists.com :)
Thank you! I've learnt how to smile through the pain! Best tip is to practise them little and often, doing just 3 or 4 every time you practice will be better than not doing them for ages then spending 30 minutes on them! Start with double elbow shapes and build up to single elbow shapes :)
Hi I get both my hoop and silks from www.firetoys.co.uk :) you can use the discount code uniqueaerialists for 10% off if you decide to buy from there :)
Well I know that when I started with my lyra hoop I had a lot of blisters, but I kept doing my lyra hoop and that ended up to have the strength to not have any pain, so if you just kinda fight through the pain your body will end up having the strength and tolerance when you do a elbow hang:) hoped this helped

If she's intending to hang the hoop from a ceiling she needs to hire a structural engineer or a rigger to make sure it's safe, that's what I have always done. Or the other option is to hang it from a rig. I hope that helps! :)
As always flawless. Thanks for the video
Ah, thank you!!

Hi I am supposed to be getting a hoop soon and I was wondering how high I should hand it off the ground. Love your videos !!!
Hi! This completely depends on what you want to do in the hoop and your ceiling height, it can be as high or as low as you like :)
Unique Aerialists ok thank you!!

My sister is struggling to find where to hang her hoop. Can you hang it on any ceiling type??
