I own this exact bike - It can boogie, make no mistake! I'm 5'10 79kg's and I'm the perfect demographic for the ride. 60yrs and I've owned many bikes - this beauty is just such a good ride, seriously good, seriously cool to ride and it seriously turns heads.
Now, no bike is perfect, but this machine comes very close - I absolutely love this motorcycle.

@STARBLADE-X Just back from 530km ride with a 4hr layover with the grand-kids, than back home. Only stopped for fuel and didn't think of my arse once! And that in itself highlights the comfort of the seat and the bike in general. Also 2 clicks on the rebound once the rear shock had settle from new, and it's now perfect for my weight.

In May 2021 my lovely wife bought me a new Goldline Speedmaster 1200 for my 60th, I named it "Chuckle" because all I do when riding it is chuckle. The ride is that good I literally chuckle! !!! Even now. I don't go for a ride I go for a Chuckle.... I have had it nearly 2 yrs now and I love every ride. I've spent a week riding around France on Chuckle and what a time that was, the roads in northern France down the coast were/are fantastic. You were so right in many of your points, there is tons of power but I hardly ever want to use it, I love just cruising along the lanes enjoying the ride and scenery. The air does hit your chest when at 70 on a motorway so I fitted a Dart screen which helps, but if I was doing tons of motorway I wold fit a large clear screen. The Dart quite suits Chuckle.
    Downsides.
I want to keep Chuckle clean all the time, and it's a bike that needs to keep clean , but I want to ride all the time.... So Thinking of buying a Tiger for bad weather and work as a 2nd bike.
Foot pegs are very easy to scrap, which is really off putting and requires a slower more upright turn.
Indicators are very "plasticy" so I plan to change them.
I had the rear brake pipe split when I was in France, and its a real git to fit. Spent £70 to get it fitted, well worth the money.
    Upgrade
Whilst the standard exhaust looks and sounds great, the cat holds of a lot of heat. So I bought a Motone Decat Xpipe and Motone pipes an my god, you want to hear it.... It makes certainly makes people turn heads now.
Chuckle can be seen here ... 500px.com/photo/1052217055/sunset-beauty-by-a-d
Hope you like it. Great review, thank you

I would be looking for a two pipe system that has no cross pipe, to keep the air flowing under the motor and transmission, and pipes as quiet as stock. I know the trend is loud, but I'm not into that trend.

I currently run a 2011 Bonny America with the beach bars & the 865cc parallel twin, effectively the precursor to this bike. I love everything about it & every time I take it out people come up & admire it for; it's looks, engineering, sound & overall retro / classic feel. I may B biased but Triumph's parallel twin is the best overall bike engine on the market...

Great review. Thanks! I got a Speedmaster in 2021 and it’s super reliable. I easily get 165 miles per tank, so tank size noy a problem. Riding the bike hard I get 55mpg U.S. there’s preload settings on the rear monoshock-which the Bobber doesn’t have. That also softens the ride in addition to the comfier seat when compared to the Bobber. I got a quick release road screen and saddlebags so it can go from cruising to light touring and multi-day trips. Great all around bike with classic styling and modern tech like one touch cruise, ABS, rider modes, traction control, and more. Handles great and light enough to move around the garage. If you want a quality, cool cruiser with lots of power and available accessories, then the Speedmaster is worth a look.

I was waiting for someone to do a review of the 2024 Speedmaster. I'm 60 years old and was looking for a very comfortable cruiser bike to ride around town and wasn't too heavy. This seems like the perfect choice! Also, my local Triumph Dealer is only 18 minutes away which is very convenient. My other choice was Royal Enfield. But the closest dealer is 40 minutes away. Thank you for your review!

Hi i have a 2018 Speedmaster. I gave up riding the BMW 1200gs after many years of struggling with the height even though they were all low suspension versions. Took a while to get use to the different way of riding the Triumph. I had the forward pegs changed to mids & i got rid of the comfort seat for a Corbin one. I think the next change will be the handle bars. The T120 bars look the best & can be swopped without changing anything. 😊

I bought a leftover 2022 about a year ago. Fitted a Mad Stadt windscreen and a few accessories, six thousand miles later I love it. Is it perfect? No but no bike is. I wish they had fitted it with floorboards from the factory, the accessory floorboards from Triumph are expensive so I’m saving my money to fit them. I think it’s beautiful and it gets compliments wherever I go.

Had it out yesterday, and as far as my tuppence worth is concerned, I found it very much like your review. A very comfortable seat and riding position. The beach bars, though strange, actually felt quite natural. The engine is indeed a peach and really lends to easy, relaxed riding. On the motorway at speed, I agree it felt like I would get pushed off the back, but it was all clean air and no buffeting. As you said, a screen would alleviate this. My only gripe was that the gear change I found fiddly, probably due to the fact I've never ridden a bike with forward pegs. Being an old geezer with bits wearing out and being replaced was one of the reasons I was looking at this bike...and the fact it's really, really f#####g cool looking. Overall, most impressed 👌

I also own his exact bike in stealth red. Fantastic bike with plenty of power and handles like a dream. The build quality is also great. I have only one gripe...the seat shock is so stiff that at highway speeds bumps can kick you up off the seat so you have to be mindful to avoid bumps if you can.

The Speedmaster is a bike I gave a lot of thought to owning as a more relaxed cruising style bike to those I already owned. On a visit to West Coast Triumph I was shocked at how small it appears in the flesh. I opted instead for the Rocket 3 GT which is a more substantial bike altogether, it offers more smiles per mile, the ability to just relax and cruise or to give it some beans.

I bought a new Chrome edition last year and I love it! It is so relaxing to ride, tons of torque at any speed, and it sounds gorgeous! It's not perfect, but no bike is - it IS a heavy thing to push around in the garage, it will ground the pegs if you push in the twisties (I don't), and the lovely spoked wheels means it has tubed tyres so a puncture means calling the RAC. But looks gorgeous (especially the red and chrome tank on mine) and sounds lovely.

I have had mine 18 months now and I have covered 8000mls. Only 2 critisisms, one is the front fork suspension bottoms out easily so watch for the potholes. I havent been able to find any aftermarket springs. The other is the seat. While it is comfortable, and I do have a lower back problem where my Harley sportster did hurt my back after a cou[ple of hours this one has never given me a problem, however if you get caught in a downpour the water runs down the channels created by the lumber pad and it soaks up the water. It takes days to dry out so I take the seat off when this happens and put it near a radiator, but it still is a sod to get dry. I am considering an after market seat like the Maverick.

Not really my style of bike but I will say that the 1200 twin really suits this type of riding, as it does the Scrambler. I've just bought a 1200 X which has the HP version but very similar tune to the HT in this bike. If I was looking for a high speed sports machine to thrash round on I'd probably go for one of the Triple's but for relaxed, lazy riding on the lovely torque delivery the big twin is king.👍

Have they done a stealth paint job for this one too? I don’t remember to watch it, but definitely it could get a paint job like that. Have to look it up with my local dealer.
Thanks. This was a nice video about the Triumph speed Master. 👌🏻

I've got the 2020 edition with the black and white tank and beautiful pin-striping. Years ago I started out riding a 1955 Triumph, and I've ridden a wide variety of bikes over many years. I did the Harley thing for a while, but this bike is hands down the nicest ride of them all! Gotta love the deep throated vertical twin! I keep it on the curvy mountain roads of Big Bear Lake and stay far from the cities!

I'm a big fan of the Speedster. My Son's partner has one and I loved riding it. It is a proper laid back ride and a nice old school vibe. I agree about the speedo I wish Triumph had put the Bonneville clocks on this one. I could possibly be tempted to swap my Bonneville for a Speedster but I think I'd change the beach bars out for some mini apes.

I adore the lines, the design and simplicity, the ride, and the sound (... like a low Jaguar growl ruclips.net/video/OOIk4IgHriM/видео.html) -it's simply an incredible piece of engineering with elegance. To all the bikers out there, stay safe and just enjoy the ride!

Not my cup of tea but I see there are plenty here that do like it. Feet forward doesn’t suit me at all. When somebody says in a bike review that it’s like sitting in your arm chair I know it’s not the bike for me, if I want to sit in an arm chair I’ll sit in my arm chair at home ! The handlebar grips as you say are old school and are similar too, but not as exaggerated as the grips on the T140V that I rode forty years ago, and they were horrible then ! 🇬🇧

I don't think I'm old enough yet to ride in the gynecology position . But if I had to , I'd take this bike in preference to a Harley.
The Speedmaster looks like a proper Triumph and nothing else ..
The Japanese cruisers for instance are just Harley lookalikes and although more reliable , handle worse than a Harley .
Speedmaster is about 200 lbs lighter than a Road King too .👍
And more than likely faster .
Not that we ever ride fast , of course .
