I also added the HFP top spoiler replacement and it really took it up to the next level, I also didn't want to do the type R spoiler, wanted a different look.
Awesome! Thanks for the info, I'll look into. I do like this duckbill spoiler. Gives that extra "something" in the back. Thanks for checking out my video!
I can see thru my rear view but the spoiler does block show a bit. It hasn't bothered me yet and see the car fine. Hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍
If you decide to remove the spoiler later, there will be some tape residue left on the paint that you will have to remove. Depending on how you remove it, there is a chance you might mess with the clear coat of the paint. Hope this helps.
Hi, its hard to estimate on how long it'll stay on due to so many factors. But if installed correctly, should stay on with no issues. After 3 months in cold, hot weather and a few car washes, mine doesn't feel like it'll come off any time soon, hopefully for many years. I'll eventually do a 6 month and 1 year follow up review.
Hi! Its still holding up strong, no issues or any signs of it coming off. I do mostly freeway driving too. No rattling noises that I hear from the wind but my stock sound is weak so can't say how a real bass would effect it. Hope this helps and thanks for checking out the video 👍
Hi, I can't say for certain how long this one will last. If the prep is done properly and the doubled sided tape is good, my guess, it should last for years. The provided tape doesn't say 3M on it and some people rather go with a known brand like 3M. I used what came with it as a test and seems to be holding up well. I've pressure washed it, my commute is mainly freeway speeds, parked in the sun and so far so good. I'll most likely do a 6 month and 1 year update video eventually.
Hi, I got it from Amazon, link is in my description if you want to check it out. It's been holding up well, no sign of coming off with the provided double-sided tape.
Try applying some Goo Gone then working some sort of durable string underneath the spoiler until it comes off. Then use more Goo Gone and a rag until it’s clean
Hi and thanks for checking out my video. I would wait at least 1 day before driving at highway speeds. It was my weekend when I installed it, so for me it was more like 2 full warm days, not cold or humid. Hope this helps.
Watching your video helped me decide on getting one of these, and it helped immensely with getting mine installed on my Civic hatchback! Subscribed too! 😎
Thank for checking out the video! Best of luck on the install, hope you like it as much as I do. Its a great mod. Appreciate the support! More Civic mods coming. 👍
Hi and thanks for the concern. Many small spoilers and side molding/trims are held by automotive double-side tape. Knock on wood but I've had no issues in the past and 🤞 this will be no different. But I'll definitely keep an eye on it. For anyone concerned about the provided tape, I would upgrade to 3M automotive tape and also use a 3M adhesion promoter along with it. Just my opinion but I hope this helps 👍
@@renztampengco5665 hi! Its suppose to help the adhesion, so anything to help I would say its good. So far my spoiler is on well with using the provided tape and no promoter. Its gone thru a few car wash as well. I'll do an update after I get a longer test time.
Just got the same spoiler for my Honda Civic hatchback and it looks great . I also got the cow horn style wing mirror covers which go so well with the style of the rear spoiler 👍
Hey thanks for checking out the video. Yea, it gives the Hatchback a nice enhancement in the back. Gotta take a look at those wing mirror covers. Thanks 👍

I was on the fence about getting one but now I absolutely have to
Hi, thanks for checking out the video 👍 Its still holding on strong and it looks good.
Did she stay for the long haul? Curious if you had any issues with it coming off?
It's still on and holding strong. No issues so far. Thanks for checking out the video.
Yeah man for sure, getting ready to install a carbon fiber duck bill and your vid is solid thanks.
@hotwater8473 Nice! That will look sick in carbon. Good luck on the install 👍
Thanks bro appreciate it!
are you able to see though your rear view mirror or does it show
I can see thru my rear view but the spoiler does block show a bit. It hasn't bothered me yet and see the car fine. Hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍
Spending Jar thank you so much I have been debating on getting one because I wasn’t sure if it obstructs my view thank you for clarifying
How well has this held up so far?
So you just clip the spoiler on? Just like that?
did it ever come off ?? I'm getting one of these bro !!!
@Noodlehustle it's still on and no issues. Congrats on getting one! Best of luck on your install 👍
@@SpendingJar awsome, ty for the reply!
The tape won't mess with the paint at all will it?

How long will it stay on? I go thru auto car washes cuz I'm lazy and it rains a lot.

great install video and review. I wonder, now thats its been 9 months how its holding up? Also did bass seem to rattle it ?

@@SpendingJar Thanks for letting me know. If you haven't heard it yet chances are its fine with bass...
hey bro how the ducktail in highway speed now?
Hi, still holding up strong, feeling no sag or much movement 👍
@@SpendingJar nice then and thanks for your vid keep it up!
How does it hold up on the highway and car washes?
Hi! So far so good. I've pressure washed the car myself with no issues. I do a lot of highway driving for my commute and it still feels sturdy.
How long will this spoiler last for like will it peel off or anything ?

Do you think honda civic hatchback 2021 will fit
Hi and yes, the spoiler will fit a 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback. My car in the video is the same year and model.
@@SpendingJar alright thanks 😊
@@mythical_wraith_gaming9893 any time 👍
Will it fit on the new 11th gen hatchback?
Hi! I don't think it'll fit the new hatchback.
Nice work, the result is excellent and the tutorial is very well done, top. Great car and great video 👍
Thank you for the kind words 👍Appreciate you checking out my video.
This will fit on the 2021 hatchback sport?
Hi and yes, it should fit. No difference in the trunk for EX vs Sport Hatchback as far as I know. Thanks for checking out the video 👍
Hi, do you have a link to your duck bill?
Hi, yea the link is in the description but here it is: amzn.to/3ljh2Z4 thanks for checking out my video!
hey man! i know this video came out a while ago but what seller is this from, and how is it holding up?

@@SpendingJar thanks! i’m going to order now

How do you take it off without hurting anything?

Hey just a question how long should you wait before driving to let the adhesive really work and set

I see you with the Stradman running down the stairs intro!

nice video, keep it up! I have the same duckbill.
Thanks Blue! Sweeeet we have the same duckbill 👍 How's yours been holding up? Did you use the provided tape or 3M?
@@SpendingJar it is still hanging on fine, I used the provided tape. Just don't wash your car in the next 1-2days, so it stays sturdy.
