I recommend Alt+F4 keybind for most important cooldowns, very useful
As my interrupt I use ctrl+alt+delete
It also re-rolls the loot drop from raid bosses if you're in a pug, new feature
ah, i remember this bind 😅
That is my lust keybind, not sure why my guild doesn't want me to use it though
Theres always one clown
The best guide for keybindings i've ever watched! The quality of information your videos offer is unmatched on youtube at this point in time. Keep going please
I've been doing this for years, it makes playing all the specs so much easier.
good man!
Same.
Shift+Space = Mount = Best key bind in the game
😂🎉 opie dont agree
I got a few the ‘ next to 1 is Mount shift+space is either leaf, a grab or some kind of aoe stun like earth totem or Tclap and then I use Shift+W for mivemdnt stuff, blink, sader charge, charge, ghost wolf etc, ur finger already on W so you just roll the keys and ur good.
I can give you an upgrade to this:) outside combat: mount. While in combat: movement ability! All by macro
@@Ramnokri True True
You can open up another easy 9 keybinds if you change your movement keys to ESDF. Then you can put quick reaction skills on QAZ, shift, alt and ctrl modifiers for same. I had Legion era resto shaman on this setup and had room to spare. I use it now on prot warrior easy
thats an interesting setup
I prefer ESDF when I play mkb games as well. Son thinks it's weird 😂
I spent some time in DF S4 doing just this. Takes a while to adapt, and I’m still not quite there but it’s working out nicely. Well worth considering if you have the time to retrain your muscle memory.
Would F up my brain too much - I think the modifiers alone give you so much room. Strangely enough I somewhat exclusively used ALT in the past - now I shifted to SHIFT (no pun intended) since it feels better to press while moving for keys on the right side of WASD
Im playing with ESDF too, u are not alone my bro
SHIFT+SPACE and CTRL+SPACE are very useful
Holy shit, I didn't even think of these and how simple they are! 🤯
@@usmanakhtar6110 they are great for teleport (monk and warlock / mage blink)
@@flaviosouza83 My spacebar is broken. When I'm not moving I'm jumping...
We need an Excel sheet with all your keybinds and specs. This would be god-tier.
Would be great i Like his keybindings
No. Make your own and master them. Dont copy others. :)
@@GameplayOssboss i do but i like a bit of Inspiration 😁
I use keybinds since 2008 and i tell you: Use mouse wheel up and down and alt+wheel for movement abilitis 🎉
X is my trinket keybind since classic! Gladiator insignia would go there. Q is my interrupt key, 5 my stun key, etc etc. Muscle memory really helps, by associating effects to keys, no matter which class you play.
Mmo mouse and the use of the shift and control key you have 36 key binds with the use of just 2 additional buttons besides movement keys. I have my action bar shaped exactly the way my mouse looks 4 rows with 3 on each row. It’s the absolute best way to play. This is of course my personal opinion everyone has their own preferences.
Man you givin away all the mythic raider keybinds. I started doing this back in cata raiding with la guilds. Easiest way to transition between multiple hero’s if you just categorize and group spells
Elemental shaman!! Represent!!!!
Get the gang in!
For healers I'd reccomend help/harm macros, to have 1 button for two spells depending on the target. Really good for healers with dmg spells or dps with healing spells.
That’s how I do it too. Takes some time to set up, but in the end I don’t need to worry about space for binds.
Good video.
I move my char completely with my mouse. With some thumb buttons, you can do every movement related skill with your right hand while have enough space for all the other skills for your left hand. (not only movement, things like blink, disengage, charge, sprint, cheetah, heroic leap, mount... everything is on my right)
I think it´s very annoying, moving and pressing skills with the same hand at the same time and I think that´s the main reason, why so many people struggle with those key binds.
I play resto shaman and none of my healing spells are on the keyboard, I use click casting for it (blizzard feature) Left click is Healing Surge, Middle click is Earth Shield, Right click is chain heal then with shift modifier and ctrl, the rest of the spells.
An amazing video and would love what others suggested
Here a huge tip: Macro control key on a mouse button, so you never have to do unhealthy hand movement
Shift mouse scroll forward for movement speed abilities!!
Switch to a tartarus and you can ditch wasd and move with the mouse as intended. The key mapping is even easier for multi classing, but still have the ability to back pedal as needed.
Or look into an Azeron Cyborg!
@Twin512bass It felt so weird when I tried it. It's also like almost 1000 I think too. It reminds me of my swift point mouse.
I bet it costs 300 dollars as everything made by razer
I'm trying this with Bellular's spreadsheet for all classes.
But some of the keybinds seem weird to me. I can't reliably press Z (let alone with modifiers).
Keybinds are messing up my brain and severely detracting from my fondness of the game sadly.
using a razer naga none of this applies to me :(
Naga is giga heavy, get a finalmouse 25 grams. U will become 10x better.
@@kerkertrandov459🎉😂 Someone have a lady hands guys.... Come to see It...
unbind S and make it also skill-keybind, add shift+S etc., backpeddling is useless anyway
Nice finally ❤ need to try yours. On the mouse side i have key like P, J, U etc. Where i cant go with my hand but on thr num pad i never thought about it 😂.
What keyboardstyle do you have? Eng, usa, german?
Just use this. It’s what I do.
Scroll click
(Always a consumer like templars verdict)
Scroll up
Scroll down
(Builders)
(My mouse has 2 side buttons)
Mouse button 3
Mouse button 4
(These are always single target or even glaive throw on DH or taunt if tanking)
Shift scroll click
Shift scroll up
Shift scroll down
(These are always AOE)
Shift mouse 3
Shift mouse 4
(This are short cooldowns, frozen orb, apocalypse)
F
(This is always a self heal)
Shift F
(This is always mount)
1
(This is always my main CD)
2
(This is always my main movement ability)
3
(Additional movement abilities if needed)
S
(Main defensive because back peddling is for chumps)
Shift S
(Big devensive cooldown like bubble)
Ctrl mouse 4
(Potions)
Z
(Always my interrupt)
E
Shift E
R
Shift R
(These are either trinkets or CC abilities like sigals or paladin stun and such)
I remapped my movement keys to ESDF, having QAZ available as extra binds. I have trouble with binds over the normal "left hand" on the keyboard, that's where I break my rotation often.
Would be nice to also link the addon in the description to better support the addon author :)
I am actually thinking of doing keybinds like this instead of my mmo mouse and using a lighter mouse
Resto druid would like to have a word about the most keybinds
How do you bind primal rage and other abilities seperate from each other when i change pets the abilities change to
I think a Mmorpg Mouse is far better than binding spells on a shift combination.
Well, some specs need both :)
I think so too. I like to distribute the responsibility between my keyboard, MMO mouse side buttons, and the mouse wheel. I have most of the bindings I would want to use while moving on the mouse. Damage rotation, offensive Cooldowns, CC on the side of the mouse, I play a lot of SV Hunter so I have movement abilities and traps on the mouse wheel. You could have totems or whatever there. I use shift modifier only for the mouse bound abilities. It works out great for me, feels intuitive, doesn’t stress my left hand too much, puts some of the responsibility on the index finger with the wheel. I don’t know what’s best but I like it.
Ive never tried an mmo mouse but i believe ur right hand should be reserve for the mouse. Having to use ur thumb to align to the 12 buttons of the naga will not only distract u and cause thumb tiredness but also might influence the angle of ur other fingers gripping the mouse. If u really wanna use an mmo mouse, just use ur normal mouse's button as modifiers, same thing basically.
Also naga is heavy as fuck, theres a reason finalmouse is the most bought mouse on the planet among competitive players in games like cs go. Weight is everything in a mouse. Naga is 90+ grams, that is unacceptable for a mouse in 2024
@@kerkertrandov459 an MMO mouse has 12 buttons on the side usually. I haven’t had any of those things happen that you, without any actual experience, suggested might happen.
Dont forget to use the power button for rebuke
Thanks :)
Addon name to see your keyboard ?
It's called "KeyBinder" and it's on CurseForge
I tried WOW for 2 months last year and remembered all the fun I used to have. Before that, WotLK was the last expansion I had played. Thinking about trying again but keybinds have always been a pain for me. I am not as young as I used to be and all these keybinds stress me out. I'm more of a controller player or ESDF with keyboard.
I understand that. I played WoW for years by clicking my skills and had a good time.
I often tried and failed learning keybindings.
It changed when I bought an MOBA Mouse with six thumb keys and a special keyboard. The latter was the merc stealth from steelseries. It has a special area on the left side with ergonomic gaming buttons.
I don´t move my char with wasd since then, I do it with my mouse (left and right with two thumb buttons for strafing). At first it was bit like steping the brake with my right foot. But after a while, it became automatic. It´s best to learn that while leveling an alt.
Why using the mouse for moving?
Because I think it´s way harder to move your char AND use rotational skills with the same hand at the same time.
And the area of the important keys is way bigger, when wasd or esdf are lost by moving skills.
Another important thing for me was to alter my interface, so that the skills on the monitor mirror the same order on my keyboard.
After I learned that, it was very easy to keybind different classes/speccs.
But again - it felt wrong at first and that lasted for awhile.
I have a 60 prozent keyboard do you have Tips for that to
what should i do dont know how to get numpad on my razer mmo mouse or f1 keys
I cant find keybinds for my shaman i always feel lost 🤦♂️
Maybe I missed it, but how about Augmentation Evoker? I cant handle the amount of keybinds on it :s
Can you post your export for your UI?
I do this but I also have macros on my abilities and i combine same button for an ability that is, depending on talents i have, what i need to use or that serves as a filler depending if is single target or not... per example
#showtooltip
/cast [mod:alt,known:212436] Butchery; [known:Raptor Strike] Raptor Strike; Mongoose Bite
So I use ALT to cast Butchery and cast , if talent is known Raptor Strike otherwise Mongoose Bite.
and I have macros like this to save keybinds on all my chars
Me with super small hands 🙌
I use a controller. Everything within reach literally. More than enough button combos to cover all my abilities as an enhancement shaman and paladin
Amazing, how do you manage to get so many buttons in? I'm guessing using triggers combined with face buttons?
I guess this would work with Steam Deck too.
@@usmanakhtar6110 I started with the steam deck and then moved to a full controller setup. But yes, left and right triggers act as modifiers when pressed individually or together along with the D-Pad buttons, face buttons, and start/option buttons giving you lots of combinations. I find my reaction times for procs even faster with a controller as nothing is ever out of reach.
Also, playing laid back on the chair casually is great instead of with MnK
Ok but ur camera controller is garbage because controllers suck, u cant manage ur camera same way as with mouse
@@kerkertrandov459 it works fine, can raid with it. Just rebind buttons for zoom in and out. Dont need anything fancy
Dont get HOW someone can manage and remember pressing 20-30 spells on keyboard at all. Im always forever mouseclicker spell on bars and moving on cursor arrows near numpad. And for healing using Vuhdo addon and all heal spells bind to mouse buttons with shift, ctrl keys modifiers max.
20 bucks means you get a numpad on your mouse- now alt And shift give you 24 more buttons. Welcome
Default keys: WSAD, 1 - 0 number spells, mouse click
MMO mouse 1 through 12
Alt 1 through 12
Shift 1 through 12
Ez
Macros plz
ah no I stay with my bm hunter but thx
Noob
PLEAS EDO THIS FOR ALL SPECTS LOL
I’ll put yall on. No movement keys. Only A&D to strafe. Move forward with mouse, move backwards with pressed down mouse wheel. Remap CTRL to caps Lock. Use a two side mouse remap ALT to 1 of the 2. Follow his same theory with mapping cdrs and rotation etc. set arena targeting to zxc w no modifiers. Easy
U dont need move back just rotate the camera
Move back is bad as walking back has reduced speed. No serious pvp player has a keybind for walking back
