I recently discovered you by accident on RUclips and I've been full of enthusiasm ever since. For years I believed that Loreena McKennitt and Candice Night would share the crown for powerful, heartbreaking female vocals. But in my opinion they should pass this crown on to you with their heads bowed in humility. With your voice that touches the heart so deeply and your virtuosity on the instruments you create something that is so much more than just a song.
Actually I listen to things like Motörhead, Deicide or Maximum the Hormone. But when I hear your works, a wonderful melancholy seizes me and my eyes are constantly wet because what I hear is so beautiful. And then when the song is over I'm really sad, but then the next one starts and picks me up again.
Unfortunately, there are still a few gems missing from the collection of your wonderful interpretations.
"Saucy Sailor" by the Wailin Jennys
"The Judge Said" by Rosalie Sorrels
"Arrietty's Song by Studio Ghibli (Arrietty)
"Always With Me" by Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away)
These are all wonderful songs (and I can think of many more), but I think you could do a lot better.
Setting these songs to music in your own unique way would make an old man very happy.
