It’s a a little suspicious they come out with this curtailment right after farmers get there crops in, so now they can’t change course or water them. And Idahoans are saying the water level is high.

You dont think the farmers decided to plant just before the curtailment? This has been a big issue for years looking into the history.

@@joshuaerickson2458 from everything I’ve seen they were blindsided with this curtailment, meanwhile water levels are high, rivers are full.

Yes, the water is high. The past few years we've had lots of water and late springs and snowstorms. I live by Palisades dam and they say it's record, but I feel like I've heard that the past couple years now. Also, since 2014 they have begun "cloud seeding" in Teton Valley. We've been getting more water than normal due to that also. I live in Teton Valley and I didn't know they were doing cloud seeding here until this year. The company doing the cloud seeding is owned by Idacorp. Lots of coincidences isn't there

For conservation ground water users need to set timing to only water after sundown.
Over half of the water is lost to evaporation.

Shouldn’t that apply to every irrigator? Evaporation doesn’t care where the water came from

I agree with you in prayer , HE did say any 2 come in MY name I will be there, for the blessing from the Lord. If He can part the waters of the Red Sea to escape pharaoh and then feed the Israelites for 40 years in the wilderness , raise an axe head from the bottom of the Jordan river , give David the faith and courage to fight for God to kill Goliath , stop the earth and moon from rotating for a whole day and raise Jesus Christ from the dead after 3 days , just to name a few , then HE can make it rain for the farmers and so again I agree with you in prayer for this miracle and this will be a witness to people that our God is dead and HE loves us and wants us to seek HIM so I pray for this in the name of Jesus Christ my Savior Amen !!
The Lord has a promise “that if my people, which are called by MY name , shall humble themselves , and pray and seek MY face , and turn from their wicked ways ; then I will hear from Heaven , will forgive their sin , and will heal our land “ !!!! That’s in 2 Chronicles 7:14

@@Retiredjourneyman Amen! But of course we can't forget that we are living in the end times, things are getting worse but as long as we Christians are here, we can pray for miracles. Sadly so many farmers aren't born again Christians anymore but if you keep praying a miracle might happen like here in our area. We expected a drought this year but we have had nice showery weather that helps the crops to grow! The LORD can send you rain as well!!!

UPDATE June 19, 2024: Water Curtailment Order lifted (Idaho Press)
Groundwater irrigators and surface water irrigators have completed a deal that saves 330,000 acres of Idaho farmland from being dried up and averts economic catastrophe in the state.
A mitigation agreement for 2024, brokered by Governor Brad Little and Lt. Governor Scott Bedke, has now been signed by all parties and has been submitted to the Idaho Department of Water Resources (IDWR for approval. When the deal is approved, IDWR will lift the curtailment for all nine ground water districts whose patrons irrigate with groundwater from the ESPA.
“This is a huge relief to our members, who have had their livelihoods threatened over the past month,” said TJ Budge, attorney for Idaho Ground Water Appropriators. “We want to thank Governor Little, Lt. Governor Bedke, Senator Van Burtenshaw and, especially, all of our groundwater district members for their sincere and significant efforts to get a deal done before it was too late.”
