    I really appreciate how you left in the clip of him hopping out of the shell! Everyone’s dogs always look so perfect, especially at Disney, so I’ve been really nervous about whether my dog might make any mistakes like that when we go for the first time later in the year, and seeing that helped a lot. Thanks for including it, it’s really reassuring! 💕 Sirius and everyone else did great! ☺️

    THANK YOU for leaving the oopsies in!!!! I’ve been worried about having oops moments. My pup is still in training and doing well but has miles to go. We don’t plan on doing Disney for AT LEAST another year. But I know, I KNOW he will be startled by something at some point. He is more on the timid side working through it well so far. But seeing that oops happens, that it’s okay and that they won’t kick ya out for oops that scary moment makes me less nervous for the future.

    I was cracking up at Carella Deville 😂🤣 watching this video makes me feel happy that bringing my SD to Disney is a actual option! I didn’t know they had crates for them when you go on rides! Now I can’t wait to schedule a trip!

    Glad that series is the first time at Disney went well. I didn’t know that you could take the dogs on the rides, I thought they always had to stay in the crates. That’s great that they had so many crates this time.

    During the pandemic I’ve been self training my service dog, she’s an 11lb papillon mix. I was wondering, since she’s small should I avoid taking her on pirates, would the drop be too much for a smaller dog to experience or should I opt to crate her?

    • @siriusly.working5866
      @siriusly.working5866  3 года назад +8

      You could definitely still take her on pirates I would just make sure during the small drop that she’s in between your legs on the ground this way there’s less movement for her and I normally huddle over sirius so that he doesn’t get rattled around too much

    • @SnoozyNewzy
      @SnoozyNewzy 3 года назад +4

      @@siriusly.working5866 Thank you so much for the advice! This will be her first time at Disney so I’m just wanting to be very prepared. :) If you don’t mind I have another question, she mainly preforms dpt for my disability. I can feel pain in my stomach at any given moment, so since I wouldn’t need her until I feel the pain coming on would it be bad to have her in a backpack carrier when she gets tired? I really don’t want to look like one of those fake service dog people is the thing. What are your thoughts?

    • @siriusly.working5866
      @siriusly.working5866  3 года назад +5

      @@SnoozyNewzy that is totally up to you! I prefer on the ground as you don’t have to worry about having to get her out and put her back in. And also easier to put into crates when you don’t have to worry about a carrier

    I can see why those two dogs were denied access. Another ableist people trying to bring their pets into none pet friendly places illegally. Great job with filming. You guys should come down to New Braunfels Texas. You could meet some great Texas teams and try out Schlitterbahn or SeaWorld. Schlitterbahn don’t know if their going to be good anymore. They just been sold to a new company.

    Is there a way I could possibly contact you besides RUclips? I've always wanted a giant schnauzer service dog, but every service dog community I have been involved with has told me to go with one of the fab 5 breeds because of the breeds protection instinct. But I REALLY don't want to, and I would love an opinion from someone who has a giant schnauzer service dog.
