- On October 3rd... he asked me what day it was
and it was AMANDAS BIRTHDAY!!! which was of course celebrated at Disneyland! we also got to attend Oogie Boogie Bash later in the day! It was Ridley and I's first ever disney halloween event, and although we experienced some pretty bad accessibility issues, we had so much fun with our friends.

Ridley is a multipurpose service dog in training. She is task trained to mitigate my psychiatric and physical disabilities. She is granted public access rights to enter non-pet friendly places via The Americans With Disabilities Act and California Disabled Persons Act. Bringing non-service dogs into non pet friendly establishments is illegal. Faking a service dog is a federal crime, and a misdemeanor in many states punishable by $1k+ in fines and jail time. Please do your research before bringing your dog into public to find out if they are pet friendly. Target. Walmart, Disneyland, and any theme park or store/establishment that sells food is NOT pet friendly.
I love how the storm troopers have such attitudes, that must be a fun job!😂

Im so obsessed with watching videos on fake service dogs to make sure i know how my baby should act and should be trained! Its a hazard for ppl with other service dogs and for anyone if they lunge or bite! Im so scared to bring my baby to places and him have a service dog miss an alert and someone get hurt! He is training so hard and about to start classes also to be the best helper for me and to not hinder others! Im very new to this world of teams and really dont want to have anything happen! You baby is so good and cute!
My SD has had other dogs go for him a few times now. His trained response is to hide behind me, fold his ears flat, and let me kick that dog's ass. Dogs are not perfect. It takes time. Your partner will be awesome and so will you. Accept that you'll screw up: I know I still do sometimes.

I love the earrings! I can't wear earrings because I have a major (irrational ig) phobia of needles that prevents me from putting them on no matter how much I want them. I've had my ears pierced before (per my mother's request) but the holes have been closed for ages now lol. Nonetheless those earrings are super cool and look great on you!
You can buy screwbacks or clip ons! I worked in jewelry, pierced ears are relatively new so many older pieces have screwbacks. If you check out estate sales and antique shops you’ll find some.😊
can you make a video about ridleys specific tasks and how you train them? i would love to learn more about their service and process

yes we do! because of covid we aren’t able to get close to characters anymore, but pre-covid the dogs LOVED saying hi to the characters!

I hope you and Ridley are doing good. Have you been able to get DAS since the new update? I was wondering since I have POTS and EDS with a service dog and they told me no since it wasn’t a mental disorder I couldn’t use DAS anymore.
Hi! I have low blood sugar problems, and sometimes it will drop low without my knowledge, it happens often, is it possible I could get a SD to help with this? That could maybe alert me when my blood sugar is low so that way I could get something to eat but if its too low is it possible I could get the SD trained to grab a snack or something for me? Im 14, so im underage. My parents are knowledgeable of my blood sugar issues, and so are the doctors but so far they have done nothing to help. Im trying to help keep it up but I have more issues to where I cannot eat that many fatty or sugary foods. So I am unsure what to do at this point.
That's what my SD is trained for, primarily. I'm 35. I was like you at one point. It took me until last year to get a doctor to actually push me into getting an SD. Speaking from experience? Go for it. If your parents support you, do it. If not, do it when you move out. I regret so much not having one before now. I could have been spared so many crashes.

@@jennie8054 It's way sooner than you think =) I left home just after I turned 19. You can do it. Keep snacks around. My go-to was and still is airheads followed by apple juice and a peanut butter sandwich.

I have wanted a service dog 🐕🦺 ever since I was 5 years old but I wasn't allowed to have a service dog 🐕🦺 because my mom is scared of dogs and I respect that and then when I had to move into a Care facility January of 2016 I still wasn't allowed to have a service dog 🐕🦺 I respect that even though it is really! Updating to me
