If you tell the characters or their attendants that you’re blind, often times they will guide you to feel parts of their costume/outfits so you can have a more tactile experience! Especially since many characters don’t talk, they use gestures to communicate, so if you let them know you can’t see, they can switch to more tactile methods
Elton meeting Pluto was the best thing ever! The way they handled that was Disney magic. That brought so much joy to my heart. I felt the same the first time I went to Disneyland... I thought it was 'overhyped.' but they sold me. It might actually be the happiest place on Earth, lol. So glad you had a good time!!!
The noise, crowds, colors even the energy level can be somewhat challenging for me. Seeing Elton so confident, not being scared of the Disney character actors really proved that he is more than a guide dog, he is a partner who guides. Molly looked so happy, glad it was a fun day.
I thought I was the only one bothered by the noise levels on some of the rides and shows. I can't traverse the park during fireworks time without a set of earplugs 😫
Here's an interesting fact for you- a new Disney Imagineer (a person who desgins rides I think) has a service dog which is the first Disney Canine Imagineer.
When Molly does fun things like amusement parks or the light show from I think December or January she gets very joyful and her inner child really shines! It’s so cute 🥰
They ate some...spoiled honey and started having an...experience... 😂 it's so funny how most of the time, it's very easy to forget Molly is blind because she is so confident and makes such good eye contact, but in videos like this, you're reminded in best way possible 😅 the joy and excitement throughout this video is so infectious and wonderful. I'm so glad you all had such a good time at Disney
(The problem with that story line is...honey doesn't actually spoil! They've found ancient jars of honey in Rome and even Egypt, that was still good! 🙂 )
I don’t usually comment, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to mention this: I do not watch as consistently as I used to (even though I love her content), but this is BY FAR the best video I’ve ever seen from her. I LOVED the insight she gave to being blind in a major theme park, the fact that she included Elton John like a child, and most importantly, her own childlike joy for the park. Makes me want to go!
Elton just loved the boat, I can totally see him going out on a lake and being a water boy. Also the way his tail immediately started wagging and he got the biggest smile as soon as the Minnie ears were put on
Thank you for sharing. As a travel agent, it's incredibly helpful to have first person experiences shared so I can better serve my clients. Our family LOVES Disney Parks as we safely dine there while managing over a dozen food allergies.
Disney is always super accommodating for mine and my husband's food allergies/sensitivities, so I am THRILLED to see they are just as accommodating to service dog users!! Looks like you and Elton had a fantastic time!
I loved this video and i love how prepared Disney is for people with disabilities. My sister has down syndrome and is nonverbal, also has mobility issues so she uses a wheelchair; when we go she gets to get a time to come back into the ride so she doesn't have to make the line because she gets over stimulated, cast members also assist her into the rides and she got super excited to meet a cast member like her! We love Disney for making magic for our special family ❤
I have been to Disneyland and Disney World with my service dog, and they have been absolutely amazing with their accessibility and the cast members have been so helpful when I have been in an area where I need help because I am in a wheelchair. They also have designated service dog relief areas and if my service dog needed to go potty and we were not near one of those areas I just needed to talk to a cast member and they took me backstage, which was really nice. It was also cool that on certain rides my service dog could stay with me and other rides, they had a kennel that my service dog could stay in while I wrote the ride.
Girl, I just need to say - I used to watch all of your videos until I took a break from RUclips for a while. I stumbled across this one and have been BINGING all of the content I missed! You are such a light and incredible human being. Your positivity is seriously inspiring and I hope you keep having magical experiences always! Thank you for doing what you do.
it’s cute and it’s a good thing she didn’t approach and try to pet him, but most people do not appreciate their dogs being distracted by people, including trying to talk to them without permission first. obviously she’s a little girl and doesn’t know but molly has talked about it before on her channel. luckily they were just standing there and she wasn’t actively trying to get elton to guide her somewhere
I love that your videos are so accessible to watch! I’m not the target audience, just a sighted person who enjoys listening to yt videos rather than watching-but your videos are so perfect for this 😊
Thank you so much Molly for taking us to Disneyland! You and Elton are true celebrities! You both look amazing - so happy, so Disney, and so iconic!!!! Your energy is infectious! Such a fun video to watch! 💞💫🏰🌟
I took my son to downtown Disney in Anaheim and was really impressed with the workers at the security line going in. He's autistic and doesn't do well in line and one of the security guards chatted with him and was asking him questions about his picture . I was the one who had issues going through the line because I forgot I had keys in my pocket 😂😂😂 !! Elton with the Mickey ears and riding the rides was too cute 😍
omg, I'm dying at you clapping in excitement on the storybook ride!! so cute!! and elton is such a unique dog to enjoy this much stimulation and attention haha
Looks like you and Elton had so much fun at Disneyland! It's wonderful to see they're so guide dog friendly! The pink Minnie ears on Elton look adorable! Elton looks like he was enjoying going on the rides so much! Elton being able to meet the Donald Duck and Pluto characters is awesome! So adorable!
I have been to Disney land Paris once as a 16 year old. I can't do rollercoasters because of travel sickness etc. It was still a flipping amazing experience. So beautiful and magical. I have a host of chronic illnesses now so doubt I'll ever afford another trip and the pain and fatigue and disautomnia would make it a struggle anyway. Elton John certainly looked like he was soaking up the Disney magic. Its so lovely to see him smiling and enjoying himself whilst he works.
Depression and anxiety make it hard to remember what childhood wonder was like. I’m glad to see you haven’t lost that. Hold onto it, it’s a precious thing.
I loved this! Seeing you and Elton having su h a good time made me smile. Also I think it's great how you let him off harness to meet the characters and then put it back on when he was guiding you. I am sure he appreciated not having to be in work mode especially with how excited he was. It was very sweet.
Disneyland is great! I have an annual pass and honestly it's just nice spending time just soaking it in, eating food, listening to the music and simply being there 🥰
Disneyland in Anaheim is the only Disney park I've ever been to, way back in 1998 when I was 10, and I still remember how amazing the fireworks were as well! The Pirates of the Caribbean ride and a Hercules themed parade were also highlights that stuck with me. Also meeting Ariel, because the actress was legitimately impressed with and very vocally fawned over the fact that my sister's hair and her wig were exactly the same colour.
It was great to see the accessibility provided but more yet Elton Johns contagious excitement. It was the absolute sweetest thing to watch him enjoy the park like a little kid 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
Molly, I LOVE seeing your interactions with your guide dog at Disneyland! I'm dreaming of taking my golden SD to Disney but there is such a stigma that your dog can't be as cute and excited as your pup was or else they get looked down upon by other service dog teams. Thanks for showing a dog with a job but one that actually enjoyed it as well.
This video brought me immense joy! I'm so glad you got to experience disneyland with Elton and had a great time! I didn't go to Disneyland growing up even though I grew up in northern california, but lately I've gone multiple times and thoroughly enjoyed my experience :) I wish I could go with you one day! We would have so much fun.
I loved seeing you have such a great time!! I worked at Disneyland for 5ish years in the retail and entertainment departments and I’m so glad you were able to show some of the many accessible features they have!
14:27 I’m not sure anyone would actually be wondering about this, but that’s actually the scene from Pooh’s nightmare. Tigger tells Pooh about hephelums and woozles (elephants and weasels) and how they steal honey. Pooh then goes to bed and has a nightmare about it. It’s a whole sequence in the Winnie the Pooh original movie. 😊😄
Disneyland is the best for accessibility!! They have ASL translators available for their shows, their staff know how to work with neurodivergent people, they’re very good too with helping people with food allergies.
Thank you for posting this, Molly! You're doing all of us a huge service. This will be so useful for learning accessibility in the park, which I wish I had more knowledge about that as a long time Disneylander. I'm autistic myself and really want to do more to advocate for others with differences.
Yes! You need a season pass so fun to see you there. Great training exposure for Elton and a great place to get to run into fans in an accessible safe place. I’m a vote for more Disney parks!
This was so fun to watch! From someone who grew up at Disney (I went weekly), I was so happy to see your joy throughout the park. I haven't been able to go too often in the last couple of years so thank you for sharing your trip and showing some of the great accessibility they have for you and Elton!!
Thank you for taking me to Disney! Have never been to the one in California! Looks like Elton JOHN HAD THE BEST TIME MEETING PLUTO! I’m a Winnie the Pooh fan too! You are never too old for Winnie the Pooh!❤❤❤
Loved watching you at Disneyland! YES you need passes!!!! I have been a pass holder for almost every year for the last 40 years. And with a pass you can go over to California Adventure too. Note... parking at the Toy Story lot on Harbor is a lot easier to navigate. Passes are a must have! 😊
OMG, Elton looked so cute with those ears!! He really did seem to be having a great time! Your outfit was perfection! I’m happy that you all had a great time! I need another trip to Disney.
Molly’s happy stims on the boat ride we’re amazing, I love it ☺️. Also Molly as an autistic person another disability accessible/friendly gesture would be noise meters for rides. This wasn’t originally my idea but it would be so handy, even as someone who didn’t like rides like you guys it would be very helpful to know his kid a ride is, kind of like how water shoes at waterparks have a speed meter/gauge. I think other people would find this feature helpful too. Glad you guys had so much fun 😀.
this makes me want to go to disney, I'm terrified of rides but seeing molly and elton on the slow rides looks like so much fun! I think I might try it next time I go!
This video didn’t come at a more perfect time for me…. I’m about to go to Disney with my guide dog too! This will be her first time too, so this really gives me some good insight (pun intended). Thanks Molly!
I am going later in the year with my SD and stumbled across this video. I can only hope my experience is just as joyful for my family, SD and myself! Good luck to you and have fun!!!
I just came back from disneyland a few months ago with my friend in a wheelchair... I must have gained so much leg strength pushing her around god I miss it already, So many people didn't move out of the way for her.
Hi Molly! I don't comment much, but I watch every video. I absolutely loved this video. Between your and Elton's excitement, I was smiling and laughing the whole time. Thank you for sharing! ❤
I just went to Disneyland recently and was sobbing during the new fireworks show so I understand why Niamh was getting emotional! The mashup of all the Disney songs was so beautifully done.
I've been to Disney & watched vlogs..THIS was a whole new level of Fun. This perspective of Disney & its accommodations is what it's all about, Elton's reactions were priceless! Love ya Molly 🖤
Molly, you and Elton on storybook was the BEST clip! How adorable 🥹 your excitement made me smile 😊 love love love this video and I’m so glad you and Elton and mama bee were able to experience Disneyland 🥰
i took my service dog to washington dc to visit all the museums and stuff. he did really well. it was super crowded and something he had never been exposed to before. things were pretty accessible. it was fun, i was so proud of him!
This was AWESOME!!! I’m not blind but I do tend to play videos while I’m doing other things, so the descriptions were so lovely!! And oh my gosh, Elton was so excited - he was precious!!
As a person who really wants to go to Disney, and has a service dog, thank you so much for this video. It's super helpful to see these things in action. Esp cuz their website lacks some crucial information
Annual passes sounds like such a good idea Molly, anytime your brain needs some stimulation you could just go to Disney ❤ so glad you had a wonderful time, i really want to go one day
Love watching you and Elton have such an amazing time ❤️ Disney Land is always such a fun place to visit. If you go again you must try a Pineapple Dole whip float!!
Molly, I know people think you are ‘a bit crazy’ for thinking for Alton. But, you are spot on, I’ve had several dogs in my life and only 2 have talked like Elton!
Really fun to watch! I hope you do manage to get them to introduce the tactile models of the rides there! ❤ maybe I missed it but is there an audio description you can listen to during the rides? If not that’d be a cool thing for them to introduce!
Last time I went to Disney was during COVID and they would had characters either behind gates, or from a distance am glad to see they are back to classic meet and greets. I wil have to ask for audio description set as I forgot to ask when we went to guest services to get fast passes. It’s so great to see that you had so much fun with Elton there by your side though I know enjoy Disney sees it would’ve been more experience to have your boy with you, but as you said it was last minute planning for your trip to Tokyo.
If you tell the characters or their attendants that you’re blind, often times they will guide you to feel parts of their costume/outfits so you can have a more tactile experience! Especially since many characters don’t talk, they use gestures to communicate, so if you let them know you can’t see, they can switch to more tactile methods

I so agree, it makes me feel like I am there and getting to feel the fun too. 🙏
Thank you Molly your videos help so many and clearly you all enjoyed the day🙏
"I obviously could not see a damn thing." - Molly I felt the frustration in your voice and I wanted to say I appreciate you being so real.
Looks like Disneyland is well set-up for service and guide dogs. Thanks for showing us how much fun you had there.
Blind with a vision, AKA, Anna, also did this. Well, uh, she didn't do everything Molly did. But Anna did a lot of stuff. I also love Anna's videos!
I know

Looks like You both had a lot of fun together at Disneyland! Elton and Pluto saying “hi” to each-other was so wholesome! 😊❤

Elton's interactions with the characters were the best, love that so much. Elton did such a great job being your partner!
13:19 did anyone else hear that little girl say “hi doggy!” to Elton? So cute!
it’s cute and it’s a good thing she didn’t approach and try to pet him, but most people do not appreciate their dogs being distracted by people, including trying to talk to them without permission first. obviously she’s a little girl and doesn’t know but molly has talked about it before on her channel. luckily they were just standing there and she wasn’t actively trying to get elton to guide her somewhere
3:38 I SQUEALED when Elton had those ears on he instantly paused, opened his mouth to smile and looked at the camera. He knows what's up!
I love that your videos are so accessible to watch! I’m not the target audience, just a sighted person who enjoys listening to yt videos rather than watching-but your videos are so perfect for this 😊

You and your service dog deserve all the happiness in the world!
I cried watching this video it was amazing see the reactions and how you deal with this.
This is so cute!! I loved seeing you and Elton going around Disneyland, I just love seeing Service Dogs go to Disneyland.
Thank you for posting this, Molly! You're doing all of us a huge service. This will be so useful for learning accessibility in the park, which I wish I had more knowledge about that as a long time Disneylander. I'm autistic myself and really want to do more to advocate for others with differences.
Elton did so well😄😍
So amazing to see him working and wagging his tail all the way, talk about loving your job.
❤️😂
This looks like my ideal Disney day. Nice chill rides with lots of snacks and a floofy boy. Absolute goals.
Yes! You need a season pass so fun to see you there. Great training exposure for Elton and a great place to get to run into fans in an accessible safe place. I’m a vote for more Disney parks!

Did you ever think of donating your weekly tickets to a children's charity?
@@tessdurberville711 It wasn't weekly tickets, I had an annual pass.

Not me SOBBING over your excited hand movements and Elton's just absolute pure joy meeting Pluto
OMG, Elton looked so cute with those ears!! He really did seem to be having a great time! Your outfit was perfection! I’m happy that you all had a great time! I need another trip to Disney.
Can we just talk about how great her editor is giving the play-by-play?
Elton smiling when Molly put on the ears literally warmed my heart and soul

Unexpectedly bursted into tears when Elton met Donald Duck. What a pure, sweet moment
I love to see you out having fun! 🎉❤ You’re a beautiful person
I love how your mom explains the background and scenery to you. That’s so cool.❤
this makes me want to go to disney, I'm terrified of rides but seeing molly and elton on the slow rides looks like so much fun! I think I might try it next time I go!

Your childlike joy was amazing and beautiful to watch! Loved it so very much
I just came back from disneyland a few months ago with my friend in a wheelchair...
I must have gained so much leg strength pushing her around
god I miss it already,
So many people didn't move out of the way for her.
Hi Molly! I don't comment much, but I watch every video. I absolutely loved this video. Between your and Elton's excitement, I was smiling and laughing the whole time. Thank you for sharing! ❤
I cannot believe how much Elton John loved wearing the Minnie ears!!! And the fact that he got to actually go on rides is extra magical
I just went to Disneyland recently and was sobbing during the new fireworks show so I understand why Niamh was getting emotional! The mashup of all the Disney songs was so beautifully done.
❤ This was the sweetest video ever!! I love how much fun you all had.
I've been to Disney & watched vlogs..THIS was a whole new level of Fun.
This perspective of Disney & its accommodations is what it's all about, Elton's reactions were priceless!
Love ya Molly 🖤
Elty meeting Donald Duck reminds me of when my dog met Santa Claus for the first time!! He even gave her a toy. She was SO happy.
I wish we got cool field trips like that in school
The benefits of homeschooling in CA, you get to go to Disneyland/California Adventure for a field trip. 😉😄
I’m on Louisiana and almost all the senior classes every year would go to Disney world in Florida.
This was so sweet seeing you & Elton enjoy Disneyland!❤ I’m glad it was accessible, Disney is usually pretty good about that!
Aww so adorable seeing Elton having a fun time together absolutely cute he is so amazing 🏝️🩵⛱️⛱️🩵🏝️🌞🌊🌊🌞🏝️🩵⛱️💛💛⛱️🩵🏝️🌞🌊🌊🌊🌊🏝️🩵⛱️⛱️💛💛⛱️🩵🩵🏝️🌊🌊🌊🌞🏝️🩵🩵🩵⛱️💛💛
Elton was so cute with Pluto. Next time try the princesses
When Elton met Pluto was really magic . Fantastic .
I wish I had been there the day that you went. I love watching your videos and love seeing you at one of my happy places.
Molly, you and Elton on storybook was the BEST clip! How adorable 🥹 your excitement made me smile 😊 love love love this video and I’m so glad you and Elton and mama bee were able to experience Disneyland 🥰
I love you, you are so awesome! I am also blind. I love the things you do. Keep it up girl!
You and Elton on the rides together is so sweet 💖
i took my service dog to washington dc to visit all the museums and stuff. he did really well. it was super crowded and something he had never been exposed to before. things were pretty accessible. it was fun, i was so proud of him!
This was AWESOME!!! I’m not blind but I do tend to play videos while I’m doing other things, so the descriptions were so lovely!! And oh my gosh, Elton was so excited - he was precious!!
I went to Disneyland last year in September & it was a great experience! Looks like you & Elton John had an amazing time! ❤❤
As a person who really wants to go to Disney, and has a service dog, thank you so much for this video. It's super helpful to see these things in action. Esp cuz their website lacks some crucial information
Loved the descriptive narration. I'm sighted but still loved and appreciated the commentary. Thank you!!
This was such a great video! Elton seemed incredibly happy:)
I like gallop too
Annual passes sounds like such a good idea Molly, anytime your brain needs some stimulation you could just go to Disney ❤ so glad you had a wonderful time, i really want to go one day
Thank you for being you! That’s all!!
It was so adorable how Elton was soooo joyously excited to meet Donald Duck and Pluto!
That is awesome. I hope that you guys enjoy yourself at Disneyland.
I love kiddy rides too, and they’re usually longer so kinda worth the crazy waiting times more that the 1-2 minute roller coaster
Glad you enjoyed your first trip
Disneyland is so fun I was there in April
Really fun to watch! I hope you do manage to get them to introduce the tactile models of the rides there! ❤ maybe I missed it but is there an audio description you can listen to during the rides? If not that’d be a cool thing for them to introduce!
When they said Disney is a magical place. Yhey werent kidding. ❤❤
Omg. Elton smiling with pink and gold minnie ears is the best 🥰
I’m loving all this content lately Molly! I look forward to your videos. You are absolutely incredible! Thank you! 🥰
I love how good and excited Elton is 🥰😆. My husky barks at statues so I can only imagine how he would act with costumes lol.
