@@sjm4306 probably because of the hype behind persona 3 reload, since the NW-20x series walkmans are hard to find now, everyone is trying to find the next stick walkmans that look similar Makoto Yuki's, or any sort of walkman sticks really, these things are really fun to collect, the NW-MS77DR is a very interesting device, and very persona 3 esque for all the persona fans out there.
Mine lasted about a year and a half. Headphone jack issues. First the FM antenna connection within the jack failed, next the right channel. Trying to figure out how to take the case apart to see if I can repair it.
The rear glass is adhered to the metal frame with adhesive very similar to most modern phones. You'll need some sort of hot pad/plate/air gun to get the adhesive ware enough to separate the glass enough to slice the glue with a blade. Like I said the process will be pretty much identical to taking the back off a glass smart phone.
I liked the appearance of the Nano 7th gen, but my family could never afford it. The Mechen one looks interesting, but damn that UI is bad. If that UI was better and it could handle higher res album art (even 800x800 is fine) I might get one of those, but otherwise might just stick to my phone. FLACs with ID3 tags and album art can trip up some players though which could make finding one for me harder.
I use an Ipod nano 4th gen and an Xperia E1* (walkman edition) as jean's watch pocket size DAPs (+ an 1st gen shuffle) but I will buy this Mechen just for a try (and it's a way to support you via affilation links progam). *Bought this month new old stock with a bundled Sony headphone for 40€.
I have a budget of $31 and looking for a music player to listen to music at school and just around town what would you suggest? I use wirelered headphones
Whelp. Got it but for some reason, the mp3 display the music track in the WRONG ORDER??!! How do I fixed this as I want to disple the music track in numerical order? I have re edit the music track to shows the number first like "01_ music title" but it still displayed them in the wrong order??
@@sjm4306 That didn't work.... I re-edit the track numbers but when i copy and paste over to the MP3, it still shows up in a different order, the same as the first one! It kinda goes by alphabetical but not exactly.
@@sjm4306 Ok I contact customer support and turns out I'm an idiot. I didn't re-edit the song title within the MP3 to have the number first to set the playlist in my prfered order. Another one I decided to copy and past the album again to a new folder to fixed it (number 1 was out of order). That aside, comparing it to my previous Ipod Nano (recently died on me), it's a downgrade for me! Didn't realise I missed having higher resolution on the screen (cover look pixelated or blurry) which has no inner light so good luck look at it in broad daylight! While I know it is "slim and lightweight" but it's bulky compared to the actual slim and lightweight that is the Ipod Nano! Highsight I should of bought a preowned version than getting this!
I'd only get a preowned nano that I know has an "easily" replaceable battery since they are old enough that the original batteries are on their way out by now.

That being said, I assume that risk is super slim and from Ebay, it should be fine especially from a Business seller? Just spotted a cheap one from a person but I asssume he/ she is ok? Just from the Ebay rating, it's posistive from what the person has bought than had sell.
Do you have any suggestions for a new-ish (like at most 5 years old) mp3 player that has an easily replaceable battery? So far I've only found the Xduoo X2S and X3ii

Audio quality over bluetooth is a moot point, digital audio is digital right up to the dac output inside the headphones so I'd just be reviewing my xm3's.

Best bang for buck mp3 player is the sansa clip (get one with an sd card slot if you can for expandability).
Does it not show album artwork ? Or just the generic vinyl record image ?
If artwork is attached via id3 and isn't too hi-res it'll show.

Try using mp3tag to edit the id3 tag to manually set the track number.

I'm in north america. I do have a quick question before we assume it's the unit, are you sure the disc is recorded in standard sp mode? Original md players can only play sp discs but if you put an mdlp sp2 or sp4 disc in them it will look like they are playing but no audio will come out.
There's already a ton of them on the equivalent of craiglist in my country. It's not a good sign. I order one for 23€, we will see.
