For the steampunk music thing- I immediately think of Steam Powered Giraffe, Emilie Autumn, Johnny Hollow, Rasputina, Abney Park and Professor Elemental when I think of steampunk music! There’s more than that I’m sure but they’re just the first ones I think of off the top of my head! Steampunk music is definitely a thing 😅
A lot of it crosses into ‘dark cabaret’ territory too- think Dresden Dolls, Vermillion Lies, Evelyn Evelyn, etc
I used to dress steampunk in high-school and when I was 18. That made me miss it so much.

Great costumes and looks, and those suitcases have given me ideas for a craft project. You looked great on the Penny Farthing Merry Go Round and good on you for doing the 'Flying Fox' and showing 7 year olds how to do it in a big hat. Babies are adorable.

Oh, there are plenty of Steampunk bands. There used to be a pretty big scene in Texas back in 2010. Abney Park is a well-known one. Professor Elemental, Steampowered Giraffe, and a friend of mine's band Marquis of Vaudeville. There are tons more.

Thank you for taking us along with your family to the steampunk festival! I haven’t been able to go to any festivals, gatherings, events, etc. because I am recovering from a fall and getting ready to do double knee replacement. So thank you for letting me tag along!

I live in Rhode Island USA so we know how that salty seal air smells and sometimes in the winter our snow even smells that way ! Hi Mr. Owl i haven't heard your voice in a long time. Your babies are beautiful and they grow up fast. I had my son and 3weeks before he turned two i had my twins !! They were born at 32 weeks they were tiny but healthy and i breastfeed the twins and potty trained my son with no help well when dad got home from work he took over and i went to sleep. Lol the twins were up every 3 to 4 hours for the first 4 months then by the time they were 6 months old they slept threw the night. I remember waking up to check on them worried but they were sound a sleep.
I needed to read this comment. I'm pregnant with twins and absolutely terrified at how I will cope!

Steampunk Music - Abney Park. There's actually a lot of other bands but this band is by far my favorite, they are like my top 5 bands of all time (I was their number one listener on Spotify last year lol). Steampunk music is really good and fun! I am hugely fascinated by the community, I don't really partake in the fashion or the creative builds like they do, but I like it enough I did a whole steampunk style reading room in my house and I do go to a lot of traveling oddities shows and conventions

There are actually a few steampunk bands. Abney Park is my favorite steampunk band, followed shortly by Steam Powered Giraffe! My favorite steampunk webcomic is Girl Genius!!

There are Steampunk bands. Steam Powered Giraffe and Abney Park are some of the most commonly known bands.

Steam Powered Giraffe; is a Steampunk Band and they're really good. I highly recommend checking them out.
When life forces you to slow down and live simple, it means you need the rest and focus on healing things within you. Your not missing out, your realigning.
Speaking of steampunk bands, the only one that comes to my mind is Steam Powered Giraffe, which is actually inspired by steampunk
Steampunk giraffe? Maybe you could give them a listen too? I know what got me hooked into doing my makeup was a steampunk Halloween make-up. I did it for new years and I honestly loved it idk what her name was but after I did that look I never looked back. Now I just do a simple look mostly for work but when I have time I will do my makeup then of course I have people at my work place who say rude things about me behind my back but idc because it makes me happy and it makes me feel good. But yes being a mom now you do tend to lose your family on family outing lol 😂 but once the kids get bigger they get louder and then you'll be able to find the family faster. That's how we find each other while shopping at Wal-Mart 😅😂
As for the music thing, I feel like a lot of "dark cabaret" musicians get associated with steampunk, even if that isn't what they were going for specifically.

They are 100% correct tho, it doesn't matter what anybody else thinks as long as, Freya's happy and so are Mr. Owl and their children?
