The Move "Sound of Silence" (speed adjusted)

This is my first movie and first time editing music. I have been wanting to hear The Move's version of this song at what I perceive to be at the right speed for a long time. The quality of the song is not the greatest, but it is a great piece of The Move's history.
I do not own the copyright of this song. This was done as a project of love for music.

I have a part original recorded from the radio at the time. From the start of "and the people vowed and prayed" to the end of Brian Matthew announcing the song should be 44 seconds. The version posted by elodevi is 48 seconds and yours is 40 seconds. I think I like the slower better.

After hearing all 3, I think your speed sounds the best. If I can manage to pull the original slowed version and speed it up by 12/11, that should work. But being careful not to just adjust the speed, as the pitch needs to be adjusted, like a tape recorder. I have a vari-speed reel-to-reel, which unfortunately is on the fritz at the moment,
