I listen to sings from the sixties and I can not believe how progressive and advanced The Move were! It's so unbelievable that they were not successful in the states. I heard them as a child because my older brother played them. There was a cult following obviously but they were way ahead of their time if you compare their music to others from that time! 🎸🎶🎤
I have this cd, I got Roy Wood to autograph the front cover of it when I met him at a bar in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire in 2013. Roy and his Rock & Roll Band were playing at the Holmfirth Picturedrome that night.

No Jeff Lynne here, these tracks were recorded in the 1960's with Carl Wayne on vocals, Jeff Lynne replaced Carl in February 1970 after he left The Move for a solo career. When these were recorded Jeff Lynne was the main songwriter and lead guitarist for The Idle Race.

The Move ....magic!
Pure class ….. an amazing band ….
"Top-Klang" indeed. (I just google-translated it.) Who's singing Higher and Higher? Great voice, presumably Carl but Ace was pretty capable too.
Carl is the lead vocalist on Higher and Higher
Das Problem ist nur, daß man bei den frühen Aufnahmen die Stimmen von Carl Wayne und Roy Wood kaum auseinander halten kann.
Is there a chance to post the whole album?? Cheers
