Just so everyone knows, the Power A V1 actually does come with interchangeable thumb sticks, as well as interchangeable friction rings, and a carrying case as well. So it’s cheaper and offers the same kit. I would like to note that the paddle placement is fantastic and I can easily use all 4 if I wanted, but currently only use 2. Also, I’ve been using the controller for 2 years now and have ZERO stick drift. It also has the two levels of trigger stops, and a super nice textured grip. For its price and performance I’d put it above all other controllers. Hope the helps everyone out! :) One thing I would like to see Xbox enable is more customization for the controller in the controller app on Xbox. Reason being is because I need to adjust trigger dead zones for Halo (I have to turn the trigger stops off to charge up a plasma pistol shot). But other than that I give the Power A the edge over all other controllers.
@reborn when you mean v1 do you mean the enhanced one for the Xbox one, or the newer Xbox series x version. I can’t decide on which one to get the original or the newer version. Just wondered if anyone knew what was better
@@joshh_sj To answer your question, yeah I meant the one for Xbox one. It still works with the newer consoles but it was made specifically for Xbox one. ive had two sets of scuf controllers for ps4 and in my opinion it is not worth the money you spend to get back buttons and some customization. id definitely recommend getting some back button attachments or some other cheap options. both my scuf controllers have had the back buttons fail within 1 year each. to fix the issue you would need to send the controller out back to scuf and have to wait for them to fix it and that can and will take multiple weeks. would not recommend
I have an elite series 2 I've had it for about 1 year, I game apex legends daily for the last 7 months for at least an hour after work and it's perfectly fine, I guess a lot of people have shit luck with them. Mine runs great on the series x
Love my Scuf instinct because of the size and paddle position. But, If Microsoft makes an Elite Series 3, with the Series X |S size, tension adjustment, would be the Best Ever
I tried both Fusion Pro and Recon controller and Recon was by far the better built controller. Everything on the Fusion Pro felt so cheap. The trigger and bumper buttons were made out of cheap plastics with zero texture and had zero tension on the triggers. Albeit, the Fusion Pro I tried was the first one not the 2 but looking at the reviews, they seem pretty much the same in terms of build quality. Same glossy, cheap plastics used for triggers and bumpers. Recon controller was AUD$88 vs AUD$108 (due to significant sale) and I still returned the Fusion Pro and went with Recon. The difference in the triggers actually made tangible difference when I played Forza Horizon 5 where I had zero control on the throttle with the Fusion Pro so kept spinning my wheels with powerful cars. If Fusion Pro is like that, I can't imagine the lower end models from PowerA would be any better. Take these reviews with a grain of salt.
I bought the elite series 2 halo infinite controller and holy shit is the inner deadzones massive. I had to get a warranty return with the hopes of getting a “better one” lol the sticks had a massive delay compared to my power a fusion pro 2. It feels cheap but the sticks are super snappy, responsive and no delay. I really hope they add the ability to lower the deadzones on the elite.
Yes I watched it all! Great info on these controllers. BTW am I the only one that has my middle fingers on the triggers and index fingers on the bumpers at all times?
I have the cheaper version of the Razer Wolverine v2, it's so good, I will stay on Xbox until they make a Playstation version. I wouldn't want to use anything else.
If you ain’t tried the battle beaver pro controller idk what your doing ngl ahaha if you can afford it definitely check it out I went from standard controller to purchasing a strike pack specifically for the extra input to scuff to battle beaver and I will never purchase another controller ever again personalised specifically to my needs when it comes to back button placement and added features like digital triggers you can send in a controller you own and get it made specifically for your needs can’t recommend them enough please check them out if you haven’t already because they do everything right the only con is the time it takes to get your controller built and shipped but if you can get past that then it’s the perfect controller setup imo 👌🏻

Most are more expensive and do not add anything over the Elite Series 2. The back buttons on the Elite are perfect. Durability issues I just can't believe most are not a product of dropping the controller. I had a Series 1 for 4 years and the only issue I had was the rubberized coating on the grips started peeling off. Had it until the Series 2 was released. I now have 2 series 2 controllers and have tried Scuff and Hex. Scuff back buttons on all old and new versions is almost unuseable. The Series 2 on sale for around $140 is unbeatable.
I've gone with power a enhanced wired contorll 30 pound and it'll last me till I have enough to get a custom pro controller I dunno who to get it from tho
ive had/or used most of these controllers the turtle beach is a decent controller and there isnt to much to say abt it, the ive used the razer v2 pro and it feels good but the placement of the paddles in the middle do not feel comfortable, tht might just be me the fusion pro paddles are starting to wear off and its a bulky controller but its lasted me a while with almost no stick drift after almost 2 years this is impressive for any controller especially at 60$ the fusion pro 2 made it to fit control freaks and the design feels much better but the paddles design still feels a little loose TRUST ME dont buy any of these scuff controllers tht cost twice the price with barely any differences, u have to pay over 150 just to added on items vs the other cheap controllers tht come wit it i recommend the razer wolverine whether its the tournament or the ultimate edition, if ur in to tactile buttons and want a lightweight controller this is the best controller for you dont even look at buying the elite 1 or 2 as they are just dead trash and both of them had problems within weeks weeks. Most ppl u have previously owned them will tel u this also ive used my brother's hex blade controller but tbh i think its only a more expensive razer wolverine ultimate, and just like scuff this controller already start at 140+ which i will not spend again the enhanced power a feels like a cheaper version of the original fuison pro and the buttons replaced the the paddles but the buttons do feel somewhat squishy in my opinion i would completely stay away from the scuff , in general they have a lot of issues with their controllers and they charge 100 or 200 more when u can get a controller for half that with just as equal to or better then to the scuff. If you still using a scuff when you got something like the turtle beach or the wolverine ur pretty much getting fucked in ass in conclusion i go with the wolverine, fusion pro 2, hex, and turtle beach
Okay so by looks of it hecx gaming controllers are the best and the only downside looks like no anti friction rings this is for warzone dunno bout other games
I have had two of the Razer Spectre controller, and I do not recommend it. Had to adjust the deadzone on COD almost every day because it was drifting and the analog got bad very fast.
I will admit that the elite series 2 has quality issues. To bypass this I buy a new one and return the old one. But it is by far the best controller on the market.
Only thing is the paddles hold it back I have it & TB recon & Razer Tournament. The 2 paddle option is accidental clicks every game and the 4 paddles just aren’t the most ergonomic option & if they fixed that wit the included dolby and trigger stops it would be the one.
I have had all of the power a controllers and they get stick drift really quick like 2 or 3 weeks both the maga and fusion pro started drifting within days they have the same shitty carbon Potenciometar in all their controllers the £25 one lasted the longest nearly 2 months the only reason I keep buying them is I can get them delivered the same day
I would arguably say, Battle Beaver custom controllers are better than all of these. They have more customizations with tensions of sticks, back button placement, and trigger input. Battle beaver is beginning to be used more by pros, rather than scuff
I legitimately went through 6 of the official Xbox Elite controllers. I bought a series 1, it broke. Enentually upgraded to the Series 2. All 5 of them broke.

Anyone used the Victrix Gambit Dual Core Tournament controller, if so how does it perform? I'm currently using the Wolverine Ultimate and looking at the V2 or the Vetrix Gambit.
I have both the ultimate and the Victrix gambit. The Gambit has an insane response time. It’s the fastest controller on the planet and when you use something like the ultimate for cod and then switch to the gambit the increase in response time is noticed immediately. I also like the joysticks on the gambit more, although I’m used to the ultimate joysticks I’ve never been a fan of the lack of stick tension they have. Lastly, the trigger locks on the gambit are better and way more responsive. Everything else on the ultimate is better though. The back buttons are way better than the gambit. The gambit has good back buttons if you only use two of them but it you insert the attachment that has 4 buttons it can get iffy because they are so close to one another. The ultimate also has those two extra super clutch buttons next to the triggers. Overall I like the ultimate more but to be fair I’ve had it for longer. Just wish someone would take the best of both of these controllers and convert it into a super controller lol

It’s really impressive!
yeah good luck with that 90 day warranty. absolute load of crap.
@@richardmccutcheon9319 ugh oh! what issues have you had?
Nice review. Thank you. My only problem is choosing between scuf trigger click smooth sticks and Hex back buttons.
One thing I would like to see Xbox enable is more customization for the controller in the controller app on Xbox.
It’s specifically called Power A Fusion Pro for Xbox One when you search for it online. The Power A Fusion Pro 2 is actually $28 off on Amazon right now so it’s a good time to pick that one up if you were interested. I’m thinking about getting it myself.
@@joshh_sj Sorry for the late reply, RUclips didn’t give me a notification till 4 days later for whatever reason.
Razer wolverine TE and Power A Fusion Pro FTW!!
Hey I'm a very competitive halo infinite player on controler. Idk what controler is best for that particular game. Would you say the hex or the scuf is better for that particular game?
I have the PowerA enhanced with the 2 buttons on the back which I actually think are comfier than the paddles. It was only £25
Great vid man! Got my instinct pro a week ago and I love it, saved $60 on Black Friday for it!
I just picked one up Turtle beach, recon, controller for $40 last month It’s crazy bc I am very impressed with it.
The Xbox Elite controllers have been my daily driver for years and I’ve never had any issues. They are definitely the best ‘pro” controllers for Xbox and PC.
They’re definitely not
@@MakinaMakinaMakina
Yea, rb broke in 3 months, my xbox 1 fusion power a for $60 has lasted me twice as long and cost me less than half the Elite cost me.
@@stevensmith5158 my Bumper was double clicking or not inputting at all sticks drift after 5 months use I've returned 4x elite 2s and 5x elite 1s all similar if not the same issues all from argos
I have both the ultimate and chroma. They are both amazing. The hroma has a better hand position and feel but the ultimate will do just fine. Both better than the elite 2
I’m really enjoying the ultimate
i want to buy Razer Wolverine Ultimate or Wolverine Tournament Edition or chroma v2, but some people say that stick tension is too low, its true? And what about dead zone? and wich better? good in racing games
@@Михасьнкогнто you can always adjust dead zone in game menus so I wouldn't worry about that. Stick tension is preference... and if ppl complain about the stick tension then they must be awful at gaming because these are just fine. Light-years better than the Elite 2
@@Михасьнкогнто dumb question what is dead zone simply
@@mrmagoo7524deadzones are the distance between the thumbstick and the "wall" of when your input is entered, but an easier way of saying it is that dead zones are used to counter stick drift
I don't know if it's just me but on my instinct pro I can easily press both paddles with just my middle finger as it pretty much rests right in the middle of both. I'm guessing that will depend on your hand size and preference but at least for me it's super comfortable
Out of all the xbox controllers which one do you think is best, I'm a highly competitive tournament fps player I've used the elite 2 and razer ultimate
The build quality issues in the Wolverine tournament edition are so disappointing because it's such a great design. The bumpers and paddles just don't last.
The hex gaming controller seems like it has everything I want. Too bad they only ship to the US
Got the PowerA fusion pro 2 for like 50 bucks and I’ll never buy another needlessly expensive controller ever again. This thing is great. Just as good as the elite 2 imo. The only negative I have is the paddles fall off too easily.
Damn I was hoping they fixed that issue on v2
I’ve been using the elite two for over a year no issues
That’s good, I’m glad
Watched a number of your videos searching for a new controller to replace my 10 year old 360 controller and then a PowerA Spectra (that the Right Trigger broke with in two weeks)
Wish durability was a real priority for these newer controllers
Great content, subscribed
Thank you! Big focus of mine for 2022 is gonna be even more console/controller content
I have had the series 1 for a year and it works perfectly
I always recommend the PowerA Spectra Infinity to anyone new to “pro controllers”. It’s as good as any and only $40, truly great
My right trigger broke after 2 weeks, hence being here. I’m gentle with my equipment, just be wary youtube, the thing was awesome before tho
@@anticitizenjuan if you bought through Amazon or any of those places I guarantee you could return, and out barely anything even if you couldn’t
Are they better than the turtle beach controller
@@Lockdown_Jeff never used that one
2 months in and the right trigger stop broke. Piece must have screwed something else up inside cause now nothing works except the rgb. I’m done….
Razer Wolverine v2 Chroma does not come with a carrying case 16:27
What a great, informative video, thanks. Been waiting on someone to do something like this for awhile now. You put out great videos bruh, I'm glad I subscribed!
Hopefully you go over how these controllers fair on the PC in their respective reviews and how to remap buttons.
Ive has my elite series 2 for almost 1 year and half and haven’t had any issues with it and i use it alot! And it already fell a few times !
I’m surprised the thrustmaster swap wasn’t included great video but I’ve heard a lot of bad reviews on the power a fusion for stick drift
Are the PowerA Spectra Infinity Enhanced better than the turtle beach controller?
Thank you I was in the market for another controller have bought 3 elite 2 controllers love them but they have too many issues and last 6months to 9 months even if you take every precautions to prevent any type of damage to the controller alot of people are saying wolverine I'll be checking all of them out thank you
ive had two sets of scuf controllers for ps4 and in my opinion it is not worth the money you spend to get back buttons and some customization. id definitely recommend getting some back button attachments or some other cheap options. both my scuf controllers have had the back buttons fail within 1 year each. to fix the issue you would need to send the controller out back to scuf and have to wait for them to fix it and that can and will take multiple weeks. would not recommend
I have an elite series 2 I've had it for about 1 year, I game apex legends daily for the last 7 months for at least an hour after work and it's perfectly fine, I guess a lot of people have shit luck with them. Mine runs great on the series x
Which controller would be best used with a high end pc? I have a elite v2 but I've had it since release and is starting to show its wear.
Evil controllers are by far best with placement of back buttons and the ability to get 200g tension thumbsticks.
Which one has the tightest thumbstick tension,? Cant use the normal xbox controller for shooters because of that
I would like to see you review the battle beaver with the smart triggers
I have a coworker that has gone through multiple within a year, I think I’ll pass lol, I’ve even asked him if they were worth reviewing
Wolverine TE Ultimate exists and is a mix of the TE ann chroma
Love my Scuf instinct because of the size and paddle position. But, If Microsoft makes an Elite Series 3, with the Series X |S size, tension adjustment, would be the Best Ever
If they fix the durability issues…
The series 2 works for series X and has tension adjustment
Pro 2 better
I bought the elite series 2 halo infinite controller and holy shit is the inner deadzones massive. I had to get a warranty return with the hopes of getting a “better one” lol the sticks had a massive delay compared to my power a fusion pro 2. It feels cheap but the sticks are super snappy, responsive and no delay. I really hope they add the ability to lower the deadzones on the elite.
I'm on my 3rd elite 2 controller. Been going through best buys warranty but I think I'm gna try another controller this next E2 malfunctions.
I have the elite 2 and the fusion pro. Both have issues listed in this video.
Is the Hex gaming controller the same mod kit by extreme rate you can get off Amazon?
Between the hex and the scuff what would you go with?
scuff
Hex
Yes I watched it all! Great info on these controllers. BTW am I the only one that has my middle fingers on the triggers and index fingers on the bumpers at all times?
😬😬😬 might be haha
No way lol I do also. 😂😂😂
Like your video's man. What's your take on the Battle Beaver controller?
Haven’t tried them yet honestly!
I have the cheaper version of the Razer Wolverine v2, it's so good, I will stay on Xbox until they make a Playstation version. I wouldn't want to use anything else.
I’ve used the power A controllers for the past year and have gone through 6 of them. Great controllers but horrible durability
Whaat that’s insane🤯
Same. I had constant mic and headset issues, paddles get worn out fast, and trigger/bumper sticking
do any of these have a shift function like elite 2?
Do Kontrol Freeks work on the turtle beach controller?
I have been debating with myself if i should get the Elite Series 2 but im holding off after watching this video. Thank you for all the info. Im going to be looking at Hex
No prob!
The series 2 still the best controller.
@@reyjose215 its shit
Oh yes a nice long video to sit back and enjoy ;D

Good video the basic series x controller REALLY messes up my hands idk why it's so uncomfortable for me. Never had an issue with previous xbox controllers
I would definitely say look at the Power A, turtle beach, or razer controllers then if that’s the case
@@TooMuchTech I got the razer v2 wired it's fantastic
Bro no lie the elite series 2's RB button is dysfunctional as hell. I had to bamboozle Best Buy lmao bought a new one and returned the broken one. The first one though legit last about 6 months exact smh. Hopped on Gears of War and couldn't reload smh!
See, stuff like this is just prevalent with the elite controllers, it’s nuts
@@TooMuchTech and I know they KNOW and still won't look into what that issue is. They're probably already finishing up on a elite 3 I'm sure lol. Seen your other vid on the new scuff for XBOX. May give that one a shot!
Evil controller is really really good. Better then the elite 2 and perfect triggers on the back.
i just ordered the scuff controller, is it worth going through the pain to send it bac to get the hex gaming one
@GangWeedMLG the hex controller is acutally more expensive
@@wsnoop4192 scuf feels cheap in your hand, I was honestly not impressed by scuff.
Razer Wolverine is by far the best I’ve owned
Most are more expensive and do not add anything over the Elite Series 2. The back buttons on the Elite are perfect. Durability issues I just can't believe most are not a product of dropping the controller. I had a Series 1 for 4 years and the only issue I had was the rubberized coating on the grips started peeling off. Had it until the Series 2 was released. I now have 2 series 2 controllers and have tried Scuff and Hex. Scuff back buttons on all old and new versions is almost unuseable. The Series 2 on sale for around $140 is unbeatable.
I must have got lucky had mine for a year now and nothing is wrong with it
I've gone with power a enhanced wired contorll 30 pound and it'll last me till I have enough to get a custom pro controller I dunno who to get it from tho
My Elite Series 2 was great for about 6 months and then all the quality started to pop up. I'm so annoyed that I now have a £160 brick.
ive had/or used most of these controllers
the turtle beach is a decent controller and there isnt to much to say abt it, the
ive used the razer v2 pro and it feels good but the placement of the paddles in the middle do not feel comfortable, tht might just be me
the fusion pro paddles are starting to wear off and its a bulky controller but its lasted me a while with almost no stick drift after almost 2 years this is impressive for any controller especially at 60$
the fusion pro 2 made it to fit control freaks and the design feels much better but the paddles design still feels a little loose
TRUST ME dont buy any of these scuff controllers tht cost twice the price with barely any differences, u have to pay over 150 just to added on items vs the other cheap controllers tht come wit it
i recommend the razer wolverine whether its the tournament or the ultimate edition, if ur in to tactile buttons and want a lightweight controller this is the best controller for you
dont even look at buying the elite 1 or 2 as they are just dead trash and both of them had problems within weeks weeks. Most ppl u have previously owned them will tel u this also
ive used my brother's hex blade controller but tbh i think its only a more expensive razer wolverine ultimate, and just like scuff this controller already start at 140+ which i will not spend again
the enhanced power a feels like a cheaper version of the original fuison pro and the buttons replaced the the paddles but the buttons do feel somewhat squishy
in my opinion i would completely stay away from the scuff , in general they have a lot of issues with their controllers and they charge 100 or 200 more when u can get a controller for half that with just as equal to or better then to the scuff. If you still using a scuff when you got something like the turtle beach or the wolverine ur pretty much getting fucked in ass
in conclusion i go with the wolverine, fusion pro 2, hex, and turtle beach
Okay so by looks of it hecx gaming controllers are the best and the only downside looks like no anti friction rings this is for warzone dunno bout other games
Turtle beach is the best controller for a budget really good controller
I have had two of the Razer Spectre controller, and I do not recommend it. Had to adjust the deadzone on COD almost every day because it was drifting and the analog got bad very fast.
Wut. Do you mean the Power A Spectra, or did you have a Razer? Razer doesn't make the Spectra.
@@sododgy8338 Sorry, meant the PowerA
I will admit that the elite series 2 has quality issues. To bypass this I buy a new one and return the old one. But it is by far the best controller on the market.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You should try the victrix controller. Only hearing good things about that one
Only thing is the paddles hold it back I have it & TB recon & Razer Tournament. The 2 paddle option is accidental clicks every game and the 4 paddles just aren’t the most ergonomic option & if they fixed that wit the included dolby and trigger stops it would be the one.
@@DC00P
Exactly- the paddles just aren’t that good but the controller response time is insane on it lol
i got the chroma it's the best Controller i have ever used
Does the advance Hex work on old xbox too
Any Xbox One console
elite 1 is better that 2. if mine didnt have stick drift id still be using that over the elite 2.
You missed the victix gambit controller
No battle beaver?
what is the best competition controller? 🥵
I have had all of the power a controllers and they get stick drift really quick like 2 or 3 weeks both the maga and fusion pro started drifting within days they have the same shitty carbon Potenciometar in all their controllers the £25 one lasted the longest nearly 2 months
the only reason I keep buying them is I can get them delivered the same day
One top controller that 90% of pro cod/halo players use is a battle beaver custom controller BBC. Even if they’re sponsored by scuff, most use a BBC
I would arguably say, Battle Beaver custom controllers are better than all of these. They have more customizations with tensions of sticks, back button placement, and trigger input. Battle beaver is beginning to be used more by pros, rather than scuff
Everyone talking about paddles, I’m just like…I don’t want my buttons to get stuck I be playing claw and I really be going ham on my buttons lol 😂
The Chroma 2 would be perfection if it had the tournament edition back buttons
I legitimately went through 6 of the official Xbox Elite controllers. I bought a series 1, it broke. Enentually upgraded to the Series 2. All 5 of them broke.
I bought the Elite 2 - fully knowing what most people are saying - and now I am scared lmao
at least i have a 2 year warranty where i live...
That’s good the warranty on any product really is important
So u like em?
Hey, I have a question to anyone who has the powerA controller... Am I able to plug it into my pc and game right away? I'm unable to connect my wireless xbox controller to my pc for some reason, perhaps I don't have blue tooth, but can I just game straight away with this wired one?
@@lionofallah3441 Cheers for the reply. After reading your response and researching I think I’m gonna go with the V2 Chroma (updated wolverine ultimate) as I use all 6 buttons during games and back paddle/button placement is a dealbreaker I can also send my current Wolverine ultimate controller back to get the updated version as it’s still under warranty so happy days 😎
No elite 2?
Great video, as usual!
