Diet is major!! Hair skin and nails receive nutrients last if the body feels it needs them more for our organs to function. If the nutrients can't get absorbed well, then we can suffer with breakage and alopecia
This is exactly what I needed!! My hair has been shoulder length since March. I've been heatless since January and thought I was really taking care of it! I will defiantly start moisturizing it often, thank you!! xD
"This is why Black people don't swim!" Girl, I was rolling lmao!!!!! And I love everything about your look. The choker, earrings, and hair are all beautiful. Do you/can you have a video on this hairstyle?
I used to wet, moisturize and braid my hair every other day when I first started transitioning; but after a while I got lazy. I'm trying to get into the habit of doing that again.
Great tips!!! I have been following your tips for a while and have noticed dramtic hair growth results. One of the best tips that impacted my hair the most is moisturizing!!! The second one is definitely the wash process. I always always detangle before washing.
Im literally watching all your videos. You are very informative and knowledgeable. As a woman growing out my relaxer to natural 4b hair your videos are life savers. Thank you thank you thank youuu.
I literally screamed when you held up that book. I read it 4 yrs ago and after doing so decided to go natural 😀. Great video that's for the refresher tips/info.
I'm on a hair journey and I started wearing wigs to give my hair a break but only for 4-5 days a week. I just started spraying my braids with my water bottle every day before putting the unit on. I'm hoping by keep my hair moisturized with good ole water it'll start to grow again. I'm stuck at shoulder length lol
I recently started a moisture regimen, and it is so helpful! I’ve only been at it for about a month, but I can already see the difference :) Thanks for great advice!
I'm at the shoulder length plateau and that inspired me to start my hair journey. I'm one month in so far and my hair has grown an inch already 😁. I'm a new subbie love your vids . keep up the good work👍
Thank you so much for This video and I have been watching you for a long time. I love you for making such great content that truly educates on curly/kinky hair. While still making it your own and reaching out to curly girls to embrace what they have, to gain the greater benefit in the long run. Your one of the people that inspired me and I truly just wanna say thank you. As well as to keep doing what you do because it's honestly well appreciated 😇🤓❤️
Thanks Chime!!! This definitelyws a refresher! my hair is currently collar bone length and I am really trying to retain length so that I can be bra strap length!! It seems like it is taking forever!

Thanks so much for the tips!! I've been natural for close to 5 years now and my hair still falls around armpit length. I can't seem to grow it past there but I'm definitely trying.
Awesome tips!!! Yes some people do nothing n their hair soar I got a friend like that and she laughs when I'm taking care of mine. I love your hair could you do a tutorial?
Great refresher info and visuals as always Chime! Just in time too!! Ive been staying at just above APL for ever and realized I had to hack off 3-4" due to having too much fun with my blow dryer and no heat Protection etc 😖 I'm trying protective styling for the first time in ages via box braides done myself (last time but will up keep daily moisture and deep conditioning between re braiding and all the other "To Dos"...Also I'm no grammar Nazi but as as slide it stood out **whispers: Environmentally was misspelled 🙈 Please keep the vids going your style is always lovely 💖
Damn it lol I hate it when that happens. Keep at it friend! Blow dryers and heat tools get us every time but you can always bounce back. Just say no lol
Well see I typoed on my daggon "smartphone" myself leaving key explanatory words out 😣😫😝📲 [**"Last time (as a kid with no knowledge on managing my braids didn't keep up with moisturizing etc) but this time will..."] 👈😒😂 Thanks chica, and yeah I'm putting myself on the famous "no heat challenge" for the next year (@ least) we'll see what the results show. Peace and Light look forward to your new vids! ✨✌👸🌻✨
