Yes! I plan to make a strawberry bed from one. I'm going to paint the outside of it in a non-toxic green so it goes with the garden better. I've been trying to decide if I want to do 1 or 2 because everyone at my house loves strawberries.
Be careful with Easter grass around your cat! Cats are super curious and sometimes eat it and it can get entangled in their intestines and make them super sick!
Those pools are nice to put holes in and set it up on a pallet from the dumpster, add potting soil, and grow some veggie plants in the back yard. Very rewarding!
If any of my shirts have stains or I thrift one with stains I will soak them in a bucket with OxiClean for a couple of days then I wash them in regular wash but add a little Dawn. Always works for me.

How Fun! Hey Kelly, you mentioned pillow cases...save them! You might already know, but they are great to put sneakers / washable shoes in to toss in the washer...you have to figure out which shoes can be washed in the washer but most sneakers can that are make of canvas, nylon, cotton or polyester Of course do not put any leather or suede in, even if its just trim. No rubber, vinyl, silk, beading, embroidery or sequins should go in. But I love washing sneakers...put them in a pillow case, tie them off and put them in your washing machine, might want to add an old towel to even out the load. . IF they have laces, especially white, I take them out put then in a half water, half clorox bath while shoes wash. Some people take out the insoles, they can be sprinkled with baking powder also while your shoes wash and dry,. When shoes dry, brush off the powder and put the insoles back in. After prepping shoes (such as taking old toothbrush to scrub off the dry dirt), wash on delicate cycle cold water. Let them air dry. Who hoo cleaner shoes.

That’s a great idea to take the tiles. It’s easy to do a backsplash. U can even break them up and do a collage type of backsplash. My neighbor threw out glass tile and I never took them. My plumber said they were worth $200. He would have bought them from me. U can resell them back to Home Depot too, especially if they r still in the box. They buy them for less.
I carry a broom stick with a red hook screwed into the end,it makes it so much easier for heavy stuff..hardly ever use my grabber,I'm a pro with my broom stick lol
I love watching the two of you diving together. Y'all seem to be happy and more relaxed than before. I miss seeing Pilgrim but he will always have a special place in our hearts. Bones is so sweet he reminds me of my boy KoKo but he was a wild child. KoKo's mama was barn cat and my Daddy said he thought KoKo's dad was a panther. Maybe Koko has met Pilgrim and they're playing with my other pets. I've had pets all my life and my current baby is a Feist Terrier named Bella she'll be a year old in June. I planted my green beans in my kiddie pool when it no longer was water tight. They are great for flowers or veggies. I had a friend who mixed some cement up and spread across the inside and outside to make a small water pond and added a pump with fountain
Hi, love Bones. Yes he will love to be held that way and in the winter use a piece of polar-fleece (small blanket) to wrap him up for cuddles. My old black cat (I had him from a kitten) loved to get his cuddles this way. Bones should talk to you when you talk to him. (Not actually talk but you will get to know the different meows are. Those spools can be painted and used as a round picnic table. My dad worked at a landfill and brought them home when the companies would dump them. The hole in the middle just fits an umbrella!
Those wooden spools come in many sizes and make nice tables and stools. Pallets and barrels are great for DIY projects and gardening as well. People DIY phone screens to replace them when broken.

If you find scrap wood like 2x4s even if cut and different sizes, you might be able to sell scrap wood bundles, people use wood for all sorts of stuff and it's sad how much gets wasted in landfills from being left in dumpsters.

I have used them for strawberries❣ Looking forward to move out!. Bones is cute. I bet you could hike with him in a kitty backpack & go for walks on a leash! He seems amenable to new experiences 🥰
I love seeing how Alex likes the hunt! Those aluminum beer cans are a nice find. One of my neighbors years ago worked for the city trash truck department. He brought home bags and bags of aluminum cans! On weekends you could hear him crushing the cans!
Do they not have recycling for cans and bottles there? Such a shame ! In Canada we have had recycling cans, bottles, milk jugs and milk cartons for money of course.
PS, Bones would love a catio to romp in and still be safe! With all the great finds you guys get, there has got to be some wood and wire fencing/ chicken wire in some of these retail dumpsters! He would love it. My cats love theirs. ❤️

I wish I still owned a car and didn't have arthritis so bad in my legs because there are so many nice things just thrown out l can use, my family could use , friends are looking for and that could be donated to a place like a church to give to people 8n need and not somewhere that will charge an arm and a leg for things! Too many people are really struggling these days to feed and cloth themselves and their children and it doesn't have to be this way if all of us can do a little something to help. Somebody 9ut.... A lot of times all you have to do is ask for those wooden spools and be able to get them yourself. It doesn't hurt to ask if you want one.

Dawn dish soap as a pretreatment on clothes and shoes makes a huge difference in how much cleaner it gets.
Shaving cream cleans the shoe soles,so Kelly an Alex if thy could find shaving cream it helps clean alot of things
I also spray peroxide with the dish soap as well

I've actually redone my office floor with the floor samples, I made a patchwork type pattern it looks amazing!! And has held up wonderfully.

Aluminum is more than reg metal but you can get some good dollars for scrap, especially copper
